Wow this hotel has changed a lot, our first hotel we stated in Tenerife 20 yrs ago. Brings back happy memories 😊
Been there twice in the last 6 months going back in October great staff and food is great also staff very helpful
The place opposite is Mare Verde. They go from the top of the road right down to the bottom where Wigan pier is. There's a pool that runs all the way and another pool right up the top. Most (or even all) are private owned so it can be hit n miss what condition they in. The Pub is a great spot too, great staff, good food and decent prices.

Stayed here in 2021. It was okay. Food hit and miss.. room nice. staff lovely.
Up the hill above playa olid is a fantastic shopping mall with cinemas and restaurants. The apartments facing olid are the mare Verde. Nice pools and a good bar.

Been in the playa olid 3 times now latest was last may very nice hotel definitely recommend it
We tried the Indian down the hill and the Chinese a few years back been up and down that hill a few times over the years 👍
Oh wow this was the first ever hotel I stayed in back in 97 it’s changed a lot!! That was my first visit to Tenerife!! Thanks Kev!! It was not like a family hotel then it was full of youngsters we were there for an event called ‘Tenerife Flavour’ it was the first organised rave event lots of big name DJ’s like EZ and dream team were there! I stayed there free with all of them as I was an MC/singer then and we did gigs in clubs on Veronicas strip. It was a week long event. We got in the National papers back home because someone smoked a spliff on the plane. 🤦🏽♀️🤣🤣

@@ScotsmaninTenerife Yeah I know! I don't remember anyone filming! It wasn't like today. I'll have to dig out some old pics, I had a camera with me as my mobile phone didn't have a camera then. I've been searching for the story in the papers. I'll see if my mum or sister saved it. I'll make a video about it, will make you laugh.

The Reception you couldn't see the name of I think is the Mare Verde. Stayed there many years ago & it was ok, but fairly basic. It looks to have had an external paint job since.
Stayed here twice would recommend good stay

We are planning our trip and cannot decide between tui suneo tamaimo tropical (you also added a video from this hotel on your channel) and Playa Olid Hotel Costa Adeje....
Tui hotel looked nicer but two different areas , Coats adeje has lots more bars and restaurants near, Puerto Santiago is hilly and very quiet resort but got more bars near you at los gigantes.

To confirm a post - that IS the Mare Verde complex. Not bad - nice pools linked by 'rivers' inside. Cheap water bottle refill machine.😃
That looks a nice hotel. Families will appreciate these videos and maybe unsure what hotels are good for different ages of kids. Nice one.

Stayed there a few years back was a nice family hotel. The magica restaurant at the bottom of the hill is the best Italian food I’ve tried would recommend. I stayed in the GF fanabe hotel a couple weeks back and we made sure to visit magica twice 😂

You can get food poisoning in any establishment. Been 4 times and booked twice this year.

Stayed at Playa Olid years ago, looks like it’s become more of a family place these days. It was okay but the walk up and down that damn hill a few times a day soon made me realise the location isn’t for me.
