Catch ‘em if you can. Giving you race-day speed to conquer any distance, the Nike Vaporfly 3 is made for the chasers, the racers, the elevated pacers who can’t turn down the thrill of the pursuit. We reworked the leader of the super shoe pack and tuned the engine underneath to help you chase personal bests from a 10K to marathon. From elite runners to those new to racing, this versatile road-racing workhorse is for those who see speed as a gateway to more miles and more seemingly uncatchable highs.
Propelling You Forward
A full-length carbon fiber flyplate provides a stiff and propulsive feel.
Speed for Miles
Nike ZoomX, our most responsive foam, just got a little better. Running from heel to toe, it unlocks even more energy return than before, giving you a springy, bouncy feel.
Stable Ride
See how the midsole bulges out by the heel? We designed it that way to help reduce weight on the inside of the foot to give you a more stable ride.
Feel the Breeze
Specifically selected Flyknit yarns and engineered zones in the forefoot bring a new level of performance to the Vaporfly. Ample breathability around the toes combined with soft, yet supportive yarns deliver our most customized upper for the Vaporfly. The result is a softer, cooler design that conforms to your foot.
What's New About the Vaporfly 3?
An updated thin outsole rubber uses less material without sacrificing durability, which helps reduce outsole weight and thickness. This allows for extra millimeters of ZoomX foam underfoot and a smoother transition through your stride.
More Benefits
Light padding on the tongue helps reduce lace pressure at the top of your foot.
A new Waffle outsole pattern with perforations saves weight and delivers multi-surface traction in various weather conditions.
Offset heel seam helps reduce friction in the heel area.
Product Details
Wider toe area for a roomier fit

So I had someone ask me to try these, said they were better for casual now, so I wanted to try and see since the midsole changed, I call it out pretty clearly that I know they are not meant for casual wear..and for all the complainers, even added "Casual" in the title.. but still people really upset lmao. What more is there to say? Have a good day everyone regardless!
did you got the nb trail more v3?
Lol, truth. I Like seeing you try stuff like this now and then. Anyone who has not experienced zoomx and lightstrike pro is missing out, even if it is a running shoe. Adidas could solve a lot of their cash flow issues it they developed a lightstrike pro drop in insole for Sambas and the like, or at least develop some casual shoes with that midsole foam. Nike has the advantage of not needing to, but Adidas would have a lot to gain. It is even more stable than zoomx without a plate.
The shoe is made for running not for casual use
@@teamgeist3328pretty much
Is the thinness not an issue when running? I’d think if you feel like you’re going to roll your ankle while walking the same would be true while running wouldn’t it?
@@geoken2 if you're a heel striker or a casual user this shoe is not for you
@@geoken2the adidas adios Pro 1 was narrow in the heel. Wobbly AF of walking but on the run they were great. Took some getting used to though. The Pro 3 I believe is wider and more stable even if stationary.
@@geoken2I think shoes like this are for advanced runners with good running form.
They feel absolutely great for short and/or long runs.
I wear mine for casual wear as well and they’re super comfortable. Worth the price.
I bought the black pair and gone for a casual walk it's very stable and comfortable
i wish brands did wide versions of race day shoes.
And Stability so you don’t roll your ankle
The adidas adios Pro 3 is definitely has a wider feel to it. The Pro 1 was good, Pro 2 in terms of aesthetics was better but was a step back in terms of performance but the Pro 3 is a couple of hits above IMO. I will say too, both the Pro 1 and 2 after about 500kms on them still felt comfortable to walk in. The only reason I bought new runners was because the grip wears out.
@@Badmansbandyeah continental soles ten to wear fast
@@maciek.u 500 running kms is pretty good. The grip peels off on the heel because I'm a heel striker with the Pro 1-3s.
I never really appreciated the full on running shoe until I bought a pair of RC Elites. I thought they'd be ok for casual wear etc but they're just not stable enough. When I started running though, they're amazing! Good video Hes 👍🏻
Love the Vaper 2 FOR CASUAL WALKING!!! For Disney World it made it soooooo comfortable, end of day my legs felt fine!!! Amazing.. Cant wait to buy Vapor 3, particularly since they added width to heel...
thank you for reviewing this.
Helpful review. 😊
One of the best racing shoes I've owned. Gives me a good advantage on my Army PT test during the running event. I don't think I'd rock them casually though.
dope to hear! they are very breathable and I bet they run well!
I just ordered the nike invincible run 2 and I love it, I still love my new balance more, but they are still a super comfortable shoe. I wear 12s and should have gotten a 13 but I got 12.5 in the invincible 2 and they are scratching the top of my foot down the lace holes. My rotation now is my NB fresh foam x mv4s my NB FC SCT V1 and my laceless 1080 v12s and now my Nike IR2 and its a awesome rotation!!
I wouldn't trade any one shoe out for another.
Why would they before you if you're not running? These aren't meant for "everyday" wear.
You should do the streak fly I think it would remind you of the og turbos
Carbon plated shoe the comfort is all in the front cauze that's where the focus and push is and not in the heel that's why it's not casual as a daily u can laze on ur back. Cauze when ur running at certain speed ur pushing forward.
Hes another excellent review. I'm glad I didn't almost waste two hundred bucks.
Does the zoomx in this model have any difference with the invincible zoomx
I have both and I agree that the ZoomX is not the same. The invincible seems way more dense in the sole and a lot softer.
I think it's the ratio they put in the compound. Much the same as Boost.
So should i size up if i haVe suler wide feet?will it fit me perfectly then?
Wish Nike would bring back the Epic React Flyknit v1 or v2 but put a higher stack full ZoomX midsole.
Im.concerned
1. Will I be more likely to roll my ankle. Soft and malable is great but I step on rocks when I run sometimes.
2. Because it's so squishy will my time slow? I dnt want such softness that I'm trying to rebound from the pressure of the step
3. Please make some better colors for women. Pink and orange and white and black don't do it for me.
Nimbus wide have felt the best to me. Comfort wise. Just wish they would feel more stable when I pivot when playing with my kids. A lot of these shoes are made to forward and backwards.
Basketball shoes tend to be good for pivot/ anti ankle roll like the Way of Wade All City’s or Lebron 20’s
off topic, new balance purple colorway 990s arrived..must have xD
love that you review these casually! keep it up!
Facts! So far this is the only reviewer I've seen reviewing runner kicks casually.
I'm here to see the squish
Is it too narrow for wide-footers, also is it unstable in the heel area?
When you are running fast if you have good form you won’t be hitting your heel very much
You are right about the foam. I have the vaporstreet (essentially a Vaporfly minus the plate and with react in stead of zoom) I have the alpha flys, and invincible 3 . The invincible 3 is similar but it’s more stable than the alpha fly , the alpha fly is squishier and less stable (your foot can go off camber which in a high stack can lead to ankle taco)
I think the wrap and shape do matter , but I also believe there is a change in the composition.
My dream is to go to the factory and make an area rug out of zoomx or boost.
They should sell bath mat sized rug pads of the zoomx about 60-75mm thick for barefoot use while standing at work (cashiers, office workers with standing desks)
Companies sell foam pads but people will pay $$$ for a premium foam.
Oh sh**! I was considering getting these. Only because it's Twice color themed.

Start running and then you can review these. And what runner squishes the heel like that.
Was thinking buying them for casual. Feels good on feet but a bit aggressive. I got sc trainer instead.
Good call, SC Trainers are the best 🥰
@@mythoti yep sc trainer and invincible are my daily go to
@@HH-Guan In your case which is softer squishier, SC trainer or invincible?
@@spartanshadow13 i bought both tho. Love them both
@@spartanshadow13 sc trainer is a bit softer and bouncier
Where the review for New Balance sc trainer v2 the new supercomp :)
I am working on it! Wearing em a bit first but they are excellent!
@@heskicksare they softer than the v1?
@heskicks I have them also just got them today I got the black model sz 10.5 wide. They look and feel great to me. Reminds me of my nimbus 25 kinda

give it to me 😂😂😂
Bro you don’t run marathons 😂😂😂😂
They are also meant for track workouts. I use the vaporfly 2s and 3s for track.
You shouldn't be wearing racing shoes as a casual; it's bad for your back.
Really?? Why?? I just started buying these the last year +, for casual walking (and some occasional short sprinting, to up my cardio, since I'm an "old guy".) 😊
@@johndanielsforJesus I understand but those are designed for racing, they propel the user forward. This forward motion is unnatural and will throw off your natural gape leading to injury due to imbalances. I don’t even wear them unless I’m racing or doing high intensity training for a race. I have different running shoes for different running activities, such as long run, sprint , tempo and mixed running. Racing shoes also are not constructed for every wear so they will wear out faster than normal shoes. If you’re going to wear running shoes (make sure they are not racing shoes), as an every day you need to get ones that are designed for that. On Running have ones made for mixed activities and I’m sure Nike does as well. Cheers
siema
THEY clearly look too small
hes too big
EXACTLY, but the way his toes are bunched/curled up is also a sign. maybe someone needs to tell him running shoes need a thumbs width infront of the longest toe...
Looks like cheap toy as usual for nike, pretty sure adios pro is gonna last 2000 miles longer
I ran in both the Pro 1 and 2 for about 500kms. Maybe even 600kms before changing. The foregrip lasts a helluva lot long than the heel. But the design is much better on the Pro 3 so I hope they get more kms before letting go.
I hate these reviews. VF is NOT an everyday, casual shoe. It’s purely designed for a race day or speed workouts - this review is almost as ludicrous as reviewing a scalpel to cut veggies and saying it’s not for me (of course it isn’t lol)
Just say You didn't watch the video. He said he knows it's for running. He called people like you out and your type didn't disappoint 😂😂😂
@@kenechukwudennis-okafor2421 just because he called it out doesn’t mean the video suddenly makes sense. I love Hes but quit being a fanboy and think if the content makes sense? Would you watch a video of a guy reviewing a Ferrari for being a family car? Or how comfortable it is for long distance road trips? The premise of a specialist racer for lifestyle makes no sense
He clearly stated he tried them to determine whether they could be worn as a casual shoe. You could play a drinking game to the number of times he's mentioned it in the vid.
Can’t talk sense to some people. The manufacturer explicitly states these are specialty runners not intended for daily use. I’m glad you guys got great insights from this video but it should be obvious that VF makes for a very sucky lifestyle show
@@daddyV88 dude, we get that. He's CLEARLY states that. There are some performance shoes that CAN translate to a casual shoe. This is what he's looking at despite the CLEAR and OBVIOUS note to the shoes being performance only.
You don’t even look like you run big bro, leave ‘em to runners fr
Does the Invincible have the carbon plate?? If not, I'd say that's why the Zoom X feels different.
Also, I'm NOT a runner. Just an old guy 😁. With, apparently, cash to burn. 🫣 I love this colorway so much, I have all 3 shoes. Started with the Zoom Fly 5. Then I bought the Vaporfly. And I'm now waiting for my Alphaflys, to arrive. Yes, call me crazy. 🤪😜
I like the Vaporflys because, since I have really NO cardio to my lifestyle (I walk about 3 miles a day, while at work, and about 4 miles or more in total), I've begun doing short 100-yard-dash-type sprints, starting with a slow jog, relaxing, then building each run until I'm sprinting them, and what I like about these shoes is that, although I'm more of a heel striker (from what I've learned from runner videos), these Alphaflys force me onto my toes, which I like, because it gives me forward movement, since I'm normally a straight-up runner.
