- This is Kuwait city's Sulaibiya graveyard, the world's largest tyre graveyard.
In the last 17 years, more than 40 million vehicle tyres have been dumped here. These tyre mountains are so vast that they could be easily captured on satellite photos.

In many cafes near my house they have seats made out of old junk tyres - painted over and decorated - not only does it look beautiful but also helps in recycling used tyres !!
They will not decompose LOL😂
But there is a limit to using tyres as chairs brother. That cafe must have 10 chairs max. Where that is nothing compared to the mountain of tyres.
That’s not even recycling. And pretty Soon, they’ll be replaced in the name of makeover. Now they’ll be dumped with the addition of paint toxins.
As it is!!!!
*Tire
When a country takes recycle seriously, you know it's a developing healthy country✨
Japan
It's already developed.
Do not be fooled. The Kuwaitis are FAR from a "developing healthy country." Their recycling plants are in serious violations of so many health and safety factors.
INDIA Already had a solution to it. Rubber recycling through Pyrolysis process. But it can be improvised to a great extent as well.
Majority of the waste tyre is used for making rubber mats.. My father was working in this plant.
Read about Scandinavian Enviro System, they have the solution
I saw a documentry using shredded tyres mixed with asphalt to construct new highways! It improve grip and resist impacts.
It's pretty good but there is an unintended consequence as the road undergoes frequent friction and use and hence this causes the rubber to be turned into extremely microscopic particles which can be extremely dangerous as it can get mixed in water or be inhaled by humans
@@ZOCCOK which is already happening by car tyres. So it maybe worse than now, but it’s not a new problem.
@@davidjacobs8558 exactly.
I highly appreciate KUWAIT.Even though they have shortage of land, they spared land for used tyres.
and they burned some of them to cause pollution.
@@user-hg2fx1rv4t Go cry over it
There is no shortage of land in kuwait as compared to population to land ratio. Its a massive desert with fully developed coast line. Kuwait being an oil rich country is heavily automobiled. Extreme weather wears out tyres faster than usual.
TIRE
@@user-hg2fx1rv4t burnt by accident. The strong heat of sun burst them into fire
Meanwhile, MRF share price touching mountains too... 😁
Good voice and great explanation as well
Recycling is the best way and saves environment and also energy,👍
I have seen recycled tires used for; roads, building material, children's playground, mulch, and shoes.
It's so beautiful landscape, very natural. City will also be natural, very good
Humans never disappoint me good work peps keep going keep grinding one day we will be able to defend ourselves from this earth whooooo!!
That mindset is why the planets dying
With that amount of tyres you could use them for the foundation for building roads
Great depth even in a short video
Thank you for the info...
Nice information me and my friends watching your videos from Kuwait🇰🇼😅😅😅
Amazing..
I saw this and immediately thought of the capital of Tyre in Phoenician territory
As an American, when I saw the title I spent a few seconds trying to figure out if this was the largest graveyard in Tyre, or if it was the world's largest graveyard of ancient, Phoenician city-states.
😂 how can a graveyard be in a tyre.
@@rakeshsreeramkr1675 Tyre was an ancient city in the middle east. And in America the rubber thing that goes on a wheel is spelled "tire".
"Those people" obviously don't know how to spell!!!
How far the world has changed!
I worked in Kuwait for 24 years as a teacher but the ministry of education deducted almost half my pension 4256 KD ( 14000 $) during resignation under the name of indebtness which I knew nothing about . And when I made a complaint they refused it verbally on the telephone .
Sir , where r u from? Is kuwait is good for teachers?

Recycling is the ultimate solution for nonbiodegradable particles.
Use it in the road construction 🏗️
Micro plastic
Read about Scandinavian Enviro System, they have the solution
wastage can be used for road and paintings
That's where they go to re-tire 😜
I see what you did there,😜
Thats so many houses worth of tires.. theyre just gonna turn em into floor tiles..
Rubber burns
Recycling is the better option .....to save environment and economy. Too
Recycling is HARAAM in Islam. 😂😂😂
@@vaibhawsingh1895 😂👏
Remould tyres used to be popular in the UK but now they are considered dangerous.....maybe because of a threat to tyre company profits perhaps.
Her voice makes me tyred
Use the old tires to build roads as filling.
And we expect nature be remain silent after treating with them in such a vicious manner...
It's not donkey years when nature will give us return gift in form of unprecedented rainfall, landslides, inundation, proliferation of sea levels, vigorously increment in earthquakes, global temperature 🌡️ and many more....
Only solution is NO SOLUTION.We can merely DELAY but can't avoid.
IT'S INEVITABLE...😭😭😭
So you got answer to this problem ???
I've spent about 2 and a half months worth of time in Kuwait (Not all at once). It is number 1 on list of countries I never want to experience again lol.
Nice
It already looks tired .
Our tires are recycled or used as an alternative fuel in the cement industry, it has value.
This might be Lewis Hamilton's tyre graveyard I guess😂
😆😆😆😆
Plz anyone tell me about voiceover tool use in this video
Tyre?
Why they just dont dig a deep hole and toss it all in there instead? Bury it underground, where theres countless space
Dios mío que preocupante es esto los seres humanos somos lo más dañino después de las enfermedades.
Not like Kuwait needs to but we make bio fuel from old tyres. Would like to see what the end product (tile) looks like actually
All earthship lovers move to kuwait
When Tyers Burns The Smell is Very Bad ...🤧🤮🤢
CAA NRC
@@user-pm8qf3dj8v What exactly do you mean?
Where is from Kuwait ?
Lamentável....
Jeez most of those tires have lots of tread on them still
There is a video on RUclips that I saw recently in which they freeze the tyre using liquid and then shred it so that the tyres can be used again as rubber sheets... This can then be made into artificial grass and distributed to all the countries in the world where grounds can be redevelopment. This is not waste but raw material
Why are we putting all these tires there?...do they want them?
I want editors to listen to this again
proudly saying this is my location for the house im moving in ts year
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
I saw in one video about this and this tyres coming to India via Europe.
is it for real ?
😭😭😭

What india will do
1:08 This is going to take a long time...
So anyone that wants a update. Kuwait burned the tire graveyard. Over 42 million tires and there's tons of videos showing it.
These will worth a fortune when scientists know what to use them for
Would make a nice little 🔥
Will be nice in a hundred year....
Stack them 3 high, 4 high or 5 and 6 high, then line the inside with garden mesh, then fill with fertiliser and compost and plant all kinds of plants/ vegetables in them. 😁👌
( and water as required ). Could create a HUGE PLANT NURSERY made of tyres.
Recycle and use for developing roads.. best solution..
I agree that it's a good short term solution, but eventually every road would be made of as much rubber as is feasible. Then what?
What a tragedy !!
They can be melted down and the liquid can be refined into fuels and other useful products much the same way we refine crude oil.
The steel is easily recycled also.
It's all down to a willingness...
You can make diesel with plastic i guess theres maybe a way to Do it with tires on a large scale
Rubber isn't the same as plastic
Me acordé de la quema de neumáticos que hay en Springfield 🤣.
😭😭
Are they burning that rubber?! 🤢
🤢🤢
Don't know, now getting recycled
@@Economics365 🤢🤢
They can make high way roads
Can't they be recycled into new tyres?
World's a mysterious place
Can these tyres not be used to make TAR to build roads?
They are recyclable.
If we buy, economy grow but environment die...
Why not make tyre mountains for skiing on
You cant bury them they will always move back up to the surface
Seen tire house on YT (i think
Remove tyres from cars in the city and transport tyres miles away to be dumped in the desert. Then remove tyres from the desert and transport them back to the city to be recycled. Genius.
Why not find a way to make the old tires into roads? We use them on the road why not make them part of it , might even last longer.
Is that how they spell tire?
2:06 I could see my Michelin yaayyyy
It will use to create small ships
Just wondering why don't they recycle the tires and make other products. Or as I have seen where the use old tires as a material to pave roads.
Please watch the video first
Those people recycling tyres in India are secret millionaires
Tires remind me of oreos cereal
Думаю дальновидные мужики могли бы сложить эти покрышки где нибудь в Голландии,где земля понижается в будущем а не тащить через всю планету туда где они не нужны.Спасибо.
Why dont you line them all up side by side fill them with soil put plants in them and make a new forest or crops and feed with waste water..
Scandinavian Enviro System can fix it for you and you make money instead! New tires can be made….that is why Michelin have invested !
Wonder how many bodies are dumped ?
BATTERY GRAVEYARD COMING SOON. . .
Yea Tesla battery graveyard

The tyres seems to be good.. 🤔🤔
Y can it be imported to india.....
Nb: they change tyres for less tear and wear.
Lol they're just moving the tires to another graveyard, while turning this location that already has poisonous air into a housing development
Place is literally on fire rn
Tire
Maybe they can be converted into interlocking bricks and flooring tiles
Try to watch the video first
Can be repurposed to mix in asphalt for roads that last 40 to 60% longer.
Road companies lise business so the idea is not put into action.
Why isn't it being recycled into tires again?
Hamilton's backyard
That is just so simple . I wonder if you made in to block glue make houses . Now the inside of house may not be health air . But Hey ! Water proof in Kuwaiti . Want new house trade in old rubber for new . Ok I am done .😁
I can convert in to brick without pollution broblem
Did you say India??
Just gel them into walls..How much intelligence does it need?
Make beams..pull out parallel rods from them, pierce the tyres and make a temperature insulated huge space .
Toxic offgassing
And that poisonous substance is for floors?
