You must believe them, people. They were prodigies. Maurice was only 20, and he was releasing this song, his first single, a country number. They were so immensely talented that is beyond comprehension.
Yes! Also, you can tell just how much he cares about his family, he certainly wants to fix the argument between Barry and Robin(or maybe even himself and Rob), Mo is such a nice human being, I don't think there would be anyone like him ever!
Lovely little song that grows in confidence as it progresses. All three were so talented. I don't think anybody could write a love song / ballad like the ' Bee Gees '.
I dont understand why Mo stood in his brothers shadows! He had a great talent & I so enjoy his songs. This is a favorite song of mine. I keep returning to walk the railroad with Mo ❤
You will never be forgotten! ❤ Has anyone in the Bee Gees family thought about writing a book for us fans? We would love it. Your family does everything just right. Barry would be the perfect person to be the author. It would be a NYT best seller instantly. Please Barry, for those of us who love and adore your families!!!❤❤❤
he was a complete musician. a bass player, guitar player, singer, piano/keyboard player and wonderful songwriter! he was the soul of bee gees. robin was the heart, barry the brain.
Like ROBIN said Maurice's talent is in every song they did just as all Bee Gees fans all know!!!Maurice was great and he did what he wanted to do and when he wanted to sing he did..
It was one of the few MTV that were broadcasted among commercial breaks in Hong Kong television in early 70. It is a great song and it brings back a lot of childhood memories of mine. Thank you Maurice.
@She's A Rainbow I love this song. I think it may have been the first one I heard Moe sing by himself. It's just beautiful like the man himself. I miss you Mo, I wish you were still with us.😪
I just loved the beegees so I always wonder why Mo didn't take the lead.he had a fantastic voice miss u rip Maurice n Robin. I love Barry too just miss them together
The Bee Gees brothers are all talented no doubt about it.... Mo's voice fit to sing country song. He should have a solo country music album but it's alright I'm thankful who posted this song 🙅🏻🙅🏻🙅🏻... I 💖💖💖 to listen this and Hold her in your hand they are country 💕
I've always wished Mo's family would gather his solo material in a neat little bundle and release it. He worked with quite a few people. Mo is so missed.
This song had buried in my heart for some decades. This MTV had been broadcasted on Hong Kong TV for many times in the time gap of program intervals. I watched this MTV during my kindergarten childhood. I cannot search this song from youtube because I don't know its name until I bought the Gibb brothers' family album at HMV last week.
Mo was the sweetest and the funniest. I think his talents were greatly unappreciated because he made everything look so easy. I am the same age as the twins and always felt like I grew up with them...even met them twice. Robin was more standoffish. Not rude or snobbish but like his mind was somewhere else. I always had the feeling that if he really wanted something he'd get it and take no prisoners. Barry always seemed to be keeping peace. As the big brother, I imagine he had been doing it most of his life.
@Betty Joe Gentry Betty Jo, it was actually MO that kept the peace. That's why he was known as the man in the middle. Believe me he had his hands full with Robin and Barry. To sign something to Barry it would be the leader and in many ways the dominating Force. I miss the twins, Moe and Robin, and I love Barry hoping he will continue the Legacy even though he's by himself. It sounds like he will with both a documentary and a movie coming out. I can't wait I hope it does Justice to the truth.
Im a total heavy metal fan ... have been since I was 10 years old ... but I remember my dad playing Bee Gees tracks ... and I still loove em ... only the pre disco ones mind :) peace all :)
And you are right, MO sang when MO wanted to sing but he managed how the music was going to be and he did sing when he wanted to sing MO was happy just being MO Robin said Maurice's talent is in every song for anyone to see and he is so right..
Maurice's album from 1970 "The Loner" has been released a couple of years ago in Japan. This album includes "Railroad" and the flip side of the single "I've Come Back". It's a rarity, but you might want to try and look for it on the internet.
Buenos Aires, Argentina. 21 de mayo de 2020
bring back many memories, I use to watch this clip all the timewhen I was a kid in Hong Kong, the TV would often show this and another one from Glen Cambell's MTV in the afternoon to fill in time gap. this was a great song and donno why it never got big and why he dont sing it at any of bee gees concert ?
She is exactly right, Emily went as far to say she hats Robin's voice it sounds like a lamb"what ever the hell that means"than she said Robin's voice is and I quote "Horrible" all 3 brothers were greatly talented men alone but together they were MAGIC!!
I found some more Mo vids, I put them all in a play list. I find it interesting and sad that it seems Ringo had more solo exposure in the Beatles than Mo did in The Bee Gees. THAT IS SO WRONG! I recently downloaded "Lay it On Me" from Amazon (of the "2 Years On" album) He could've had alot more exposure. He seems to have that "Country-Folk-Rock feel to him. I also have "On Time" on my PC & MP3. He could've done a solo album, and it would've been big too. I would've loved it.
A great song - notable for several reasons besides just the voice of Maurice. Twas the only track released, as far as I know, of his solo album 'The Loner' which was never pressed. That and the accompaniment on guitar of the ill-fated Les Harvey of Stone the Crows.
I don't know if he was shy so much as unintentionally modest. He was known for being an extremely outgoing and gregarious in person. He loved social life and was a big partier (which led to some big problems), but he never really seemed to be a show-offy kind of guy on stage.
You must believe them, people. They were prodigies. Maurice was only 20, and he was releasing this song, his first single, a country number. They were so immensely talented that is beyond comprehension.
Toll Mourice 🎶♥️ ..R.I.P. vermisse die schöne Zeit wo Mann sich gern Erinnert 😘😘❤️🎶
Fantastic Maurice. Great song showing his vocals was as good as his Bros. Love this song
it’s so rare to hear maurice get to sing by himself, such an underrated voice
Yes! Also, you can tell just how much he cares about his family, he certainly wants to fix the argument between Barry and Robin(or maybe even himself and Rob), Mo is such a nice human being, I don't think there would be anyone like him ever!

All three were so talented.
I don't think anybody could write a love song / ballad like the ' Bee Gees '.
Got a country vibe. Loved the Brothers Gibb. We will never see the like of them again.
I dont understand why Mo stood in his brothers shadows! He had a great talent & I so enjoy his songs. This is a favorite song of mine.
I keep returning to walk the railroad with Mo ❤
I just love Maurice's voice on his singles or when he sings lead. He had more talent that he gave himself credit for.
RIP 'Mo'
He also provided perfect timing and harmony with his brothers, and often times sang lead when Barry or Robin couldn’t
This song shows Maurice's vocal qualities and ability of writing amazing songs together with his brothers
What a beautiful song that was,, hope it’s on one of their recordings...
So so talented and missed. Singing with Robin and Andy❤❤❤
One of the best and most underrated songs of the seventies. Absolutely love this one!!
I love Maurice's voice and all his songs !
I like Country music and love so the Maurice 's voice. Exactly for this music style👸💌🎵🎸💗.
Maurice had a great voice. It's a shame he didn't sing more solo. Rest in peace DEAR MAURICE . You are not forgotten.
Yes...i think so too....
You will never be forgotten! ❤ Has anyone in the Bee Gees family thought about writing a book for us fans? We would love it. Your family does everything just right. I've always wished Mo's family would gather his solo material in a neat little bundle and release it. He worked with quite a few people. Mo is so missed.
not just his solo stuff, but Bee gees songs that featured him heavily, even if just him doing the main guitar riff like on "This is where i came in".
I so agree. He had such a beautiful voice and it is an absolute joy to watch him perform. Really love the man

His singing style is different from the rest of the Bee Gees
And what an underrated song
Oh my, Mo was so beautiful!

maurice certainly deserved more credit for his contribution to the trio
way back then in 1970 this should have been a top ten hit for Maurice gibb
Reached #6 on Malaysian Singles Charts and #9 in Singapore.
Excellent song. Yes. He is much missed.

PS the video is Very sweet and Sad, nice and simple just him on his own, black and white,
