Amen brothers! I sure believe in the Lord! Always make sure your life is right with God for he carries you all the way, is with you always! #01livingeyes God bless and keep you always!
OH MY GOD SIMPLY GORGEOUS. Two of the most beautiful and talented guys around then or now. When Maurice died The Bee Gees died. I always thought Berry and Robin carried the songs, but just listen to Berry and Mo, UNREAL. Mo you were really the most talented brother, and you got the least fan fair. Love you Mo and Robin And of course still Berry, you rock!!
@@BGWhisperer all around musically talented, I believe he was, but someone like Mo always stays in the background and gives someone else the praise. But everyone is entitled to their own beliefs.
@@jessiemyrle4907 It wasn’t lip service. Barry really is an incredibly talented person. One of the best and prolific songwriters ever, both melodies and lyrics, great singer, his famous falsetto, versatile voice and styles of singing, produced a bunch of albums and wrote for other singers, especially for female voices, wrote soundtracks, and songs for movies, played what some call one of the best rhythm guitars, wrote three films, acted, was a great showman, had dance moves and rhythm, great business sense and wisdom, a great leader of people, good speaker, great frontman, played tennis, and now he is working on a book, and is executive producing a biopic.
Funny how so many were surprised when BG publicly swept into the Country genre a couple of years ago. No true surprise to thosd e oif us who owned this excelent album, and who still find themselves singing this tune to themselves out of the blue. Thanks for posting! Another gem form that LP: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart...
Wow, this is SO COOL!!! I had no idea this video footage is out there. Man; I miss MAURICE and ROBIN! So sad that Barry buried his 3 younger brothers. But their belief in THE LORD will soon pay off, BIG TIME!!!
Emily Ortiz. Yes, he has a very unique voice, such a wide range. Amazing harmony- Maurice singing as a second voice with Barry in higher range and then singing third party one octave lower. He doesn't have any limitations, his base giving fullness to the musical structure and deep rich sound to the song. He is the GENIUS. I am listening it again and again, it's very addictive! Love il! Humming in the morning on the way to the church.😂
The T.V. special was a classic, Not only were Barry and Maurice still the Bee Gees, but having Robin doing something goofy, Just wouldn't be him! One of their best albums.
Mo had a great voice. Never given the chance to totally be the lead on some songs. He had a great depth to his voice. Country he would have been great at. This song with just the 2 of them was good despite the smoke. Too bad Mo passed away too soon for he could have done wonders with his talent. I love all 4 brothers and miss hearing more songs from them but will always treasure what they gave us that will last an eternity. I am glad a few of the 2nd generation are performing. Sami is great!
Julie - Would you believe that I recently heard Sammi say, during the launch of the Gibb Collective album, that this was one of her fav Bee Gee songs. How gorgeous is that?
I HAVE NOT HEARD THIS SONG YET BUT I WILL LATER TODAY THANK YOU FOR SHARING THE NAME OF THIS SONG I LOVE BARRY IN THE LORD AND THE SONG I WAS THE CHILD 1970 I WAS ONLY 7 YEARS OLD BARRY LOOKED DIFFERENT WITHOUT HIS BEARD
Sweetheart is not only one of my favorite Bee Gees songs, but one of my favorite songs of All-Time! Maybe even Top 10! I know a song is GREAT if it still touches me and makes me cry after 50 years!!! 😥😊💖🎶
WOW THIS IS AMAZING THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS WONDERFUL SONG BEAUTIFUL BARRY SINGING WITH HIS WONDERFUL VOICE HE SOUNDS GREAT HE IS MY MAN I LOVE HIM SO MUCH HE IS MY SWEETHEART
I'm with you on the smoke machine! I can hardly see them. They're all great. My favorite is....well.....all of them, but I like Maurice a little bit more. Me and my brother like all of their songs except for 'Boogie Child'. All of they're songs are great, though.
I know, I also think alot of Mo's songs sounded more country I've listened to other songs of Mo singing and loved them he had a great voice also all though I don't care to much for this one the others I've heard were great..
Secret TimeWarp A stole is a piece of clothing consisting of a wide band of fabric or fur worn by a woman around the shoulders. You should have looked it up since it sounded strange right??
From years and years of watching them they never all 3 Barry, MO and Robin had a bad interview well Barry and Robin walked off a Clive something show poor Mo didn't know what to do he tried to get his mic off so he could go too but just gave up and walked off also but other than that their interviews were so funny you never knew what these men were going to say and if 1 started the other 2 joined in I always loved their interviews they loved each other and were all 3 so funny such a loss.
I loved it when they walked off of that show! Clive was trying to start something and drive wedges between them. He was being so disrespectful and Barry had enough of it. He said, or, I could just go and then stood up and walked away. Robin immediately went with him. Peace-maker Maurice took another minute but went too. Clive had no idea what to say. Stupid interview. Why would they just sit there and take whatever he wants to dish out? They've worked too hard for that.
WOW BARRY IS SO SWEET AND WONDERFUL SINGING THE LORD 1970 I WAS ONLY 7 YEARS OLD AND BARRY IS VERY HANDSOME AND VERY SEXY AND YOUNG I LOVE YOU NOW SWEETHEART
Marilyn, you can always find this type of into in Wikipedia. Look up "Bee Gees" and then the individual Gibb brothers by their names on the right side of the page. But PLEASE take OFF your CAPS-LOCK!!! Online and in social media, that is considered to be yelling or screaming and makes you appear agitated or upset; lol! Yes, The Bee Gees are awesome!!!
It was goofy, with many famous people like Vincent Price, Lulu, Blind Faith, and Mick Jagger! But the best part of the whole movie was the great ballads they sang.
Очень красиво и прекрасно поют братья!!!
Maurice had a true Country Voice. All his Country Songs are Wonderful to hear over and over again.
1970...I think Maurice was going through a particularly rough time, I can easily see how this song was born of that. God bless him.
This is one reason the Bee Gees ahve kept old fans and gathered new ones! The Lord and other religious songs are some of their best tunes!
Who said 'Cucumber Castle' was unsuccessful? This is classic country music.
Wonderful song by the two amazingly talented brothers
I like the expression of their eyes
Amen brothers! I sure believe in the Lord! Always make sure your life is right with God for he carries you all the way, is with you always! #01livingeyes God bless and keep you always!
The ultimate illustration of their talent - the complete package.
Barry y Maurice 🎸🎵🎶👏👏👏👏👏🇦🇷♥️♥️♥️

He wasn’t the most talented. Sorry. Maurice would tell you that. He called Barry multi-talented.

Like the video and like how these brothers sing the song .Looks like they are playing.Like the BGs so much

I loved this song when I was little and pillaged my mum's record collection (this and Edison Lighthouse's love grows...) Happy memories!
The T.V. special was a classic, Not only were Barry and Maurice still the Bee Gees, but having Robin doing something goofy, Just wouldn't be him! One of their best albums.
I agree. Robin wouldn’t do anything goofy like this. Leave it to Barry and Maurice to do something like this. Lol.

I love you so much Sir BARRY ALAN CROMPTON GIBB 😍
i freakin love this movie so much can't explain it.
and it kinda sucks at the same time.
but how can you not love it, it's soooo cheesy and weird.
Muito legal
Well, they were very sad because Robin left the group, and they had to do something to forget that!!!
In fact, i really like it!! it's very funny!!
I really don’t think they were as bereft as you think.
,👏👏👏👏💖💖💖🇪🇦
I know, I also think alot of Mo's songs sounded more country I've listened to other songs of Mo singing and loved them he had a great voice also all though I don't care to much for this one the others I've heard were great..
Dang, what forest fire are they standing in the middle of? My copy doesn't have that much smoke in this scene.
nice
b.g. should join up with b.g. they'd be a hit.
Oh...Barry,Barry:*:*:*...
Is Barry singing lead? Sounds a bit like Maurice to me. In the chorus it must be Maurice on lower harmony?
Paul McLennon. Yes, i believe the lower harmony is Maurice. So deep and masculine voice. Love it, love it!
You missed them holding hands and skipping at the end. Lol.
01:33 What happened to Barry's teeth?
THIS WAS BARRY BACK IN 1970 HE LOOKED DIFFERENT BUT STILL VERY HANDSOME HIS TEETH LOOK GREAT I LOVE HIM NO MATTER WHAT HE IS MY MAN
NOTHING IS WRONG WITH BARRY'S TEETH HIS TEETH ARE VERY WHITE AND HE WAS GROWING HIS BEARD IN 1970 I KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON
I don’t see anything wrong with his teeth.
@john66 LOL, glad someone else noticed that - that always bugged me on the album. (He says "stole" TWICE!)
