I always wanted this system of home schooling. The schools do not teach basic morality. And they just charge heavy fees for nothing because they want more buildings of concrete and fail to build a child's character. Parents are burdened whole life. They lose all their time in paying fees.
Nobody is forcing you or anybody to attend school and pay fees. My son did homeschooling. Now doing engineering.

ஐயா சொல்வது உண்மை தான் வெறும் மனப்பாடம் செய்யும் படிப்பு குப்பைக்கு சமமானது.புத்தகத்தை முழுமையாக படித்தால் தான் நன்கு புரியும்.நான் பள்ளியில் படிக்கும் போது வினாடி வினா போட்டிக்கு நானே கேள்விகளை தேர்ந்து எடுப்பேன்.அதற்காக முதல் மதிப்பெண் தான் வாங்குவேன் என்று சொல்லவில்லை ஒரளவு நன்றாக படிப்பேன் அவ்வளவு தான் ஆனால் புத்தகங்களை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து படிப்பேன்.

கண்டிப்பாக அப்பா.நீங்கஷசொல்றதுதான் சரி அப்பா.குழந்தைகளின் முதல் ஆசிரியர் அம்மையும் அப்பனும் தான்.வாழ்க்கை முழுமையும் நாம் கல்வி பயின்று கொண்டு தான் இருக்கப் போகிறோம்.அதுவும் இப்ப உள்ள பள்ளி கல்வி முறை வியாபாரமாக ஆசிரிய மக்களும் ஒரு தொழிலாக மாற்றிவிட்டனர்.நடக்கும் சமுதாய குற்றங்களுக்கும் அட்டூழியங்களுக்கும் மிக முக்கியமான காரணமாகி இருக்கிறது.மனப்பாடம் என்பது மனதில் நல்ல எண்ணங்களை விதைத்து விருட்சமாக்கி பிற ஜீவர்களுக்கும் பயன்படுவது.வாழ்க்கை நடைமுறையும் நல்ல முறையில் இருக்க வேண்டும்.ஆனால் இன்று ஒரு மனிதனின் நடத்தை பழக்க வழக்கங்களுக்கும் புத்தக நல்லறிவிற்கும் சம்பந்தமே இல்லை.
This might look good for debate. As the anchor rightly pointed out, in this technologically advanced world we are finding very difficlut to make our children focus on certain things.
I'm not supporting today's education system, but Home schooling is not a right solution.
There is something called alternative schools, which is activity based. There are few schools based on Jiddu Krishnamurti, walrdorf, Aurobindo's philosophy. But unfortunately they are present in metros and few tier 2 cities. Such schools should be opened across every districts. That will pave way to strengthen the foundation of next generation

What u mentioned all covered in Montessori based learning.. Created by Maria Montessori.... Not all parents can do home schooling.. So Montessori or Waldrof based school are best alternative..

home schooling kids have more time to play? with whom? how will the kid know the society through his/her own eyes? work load in school should reduce... as the saying goes bring up your kids like street dogs which are smart and not like those fancy house does that panic when they leave the house...
