My daughter became really stressed out in School, she used to be very active, but now I feel she is losing her normal self at school 😢
thank u so much. I am considering homeschooling my 3 year old. I live in Madurai. he had gone to preschool 2 months, but he was very homesick, but on his own he has learnt alphabets,numbers and speaks close to 50 proper sentences in English. That is why I decided formal education may not suit him.
Home schooling a child for the reason of home sick is Not A good idea. If parental dependency increase both May find it difficult in future.
The idea is an ideal one but should be taken with a different set of mindset. Most importantly, dedication of time and energy or a lot more money with a full time guardian for the child.

Hi it's a good video and i would like to add few more points to socialization of homeschoolers.
A kid of 5 years asks atleast 75 questions a day. Even parents will struggle a lot to answer sometimes. Do a teacher gets time to answer all the students questions in a given time? This is where the homeschooling comes in handy😉. Parents try to answer most of the questions their kids raises. So the curiosity keeps hiking to the peak when the kid's question was given some satisfactory answer.
"School is not the place to socialize." "Stop talking" " don't yell" , "don't dawdle" "write clearly", "dont speak", " why are you talking to your mate", "sit still", "don't play", "why don't you keep quiet"- these are the frequent phrases one could often hear from the school classroom. If the kids aren't allowed to speak with his or her mate then , how will you say , school is the place kids gets socialize with their pals. Don't we feel it's absurd?
Let me tell you few inconveniences with schools. "It's not the place to socialize."
"It's not the place that allows free thinking."
"It's not the place that curiosity was watered to grow."
"It's not the place where independent working ability was boosted."
Instead school is the place where you will not get different colored flowers . Instead we are all trained to think homogeneously.
Let me give you a clue- The one who controls the school, controls the country. Those aren't not my words but it was by JOHN TAYLOR GHATTO, who was awarded, Newyork's state's best teacher award.
By the way i was once a teacher and assistant professor and now I'm a happy homeschooling mama.

Instead of spending 8 hrs in school home schooling children will learn all stuff in less hours I feel. Plus if the child is very intelligent then we can teach advanced stuff too. And children will have more time to relax and play.

Very informative video Maam... I like the concept of homeschooling... but my concern is... what about peer group interaction? Socializing and making friends...? In conventional schooling methods they get to know the outside world... are we not depriving the children their opportunity to independently explore the outside world? This s my only concern... otherwise this concept is good

And I will be waiting for your separate video on gadgets! Me and my husband don't watch TV wen our son is awake..we initially never watched after his birth...then we allowed him to watch a few animation movies like Lion King and Coco when he was 2..he got too into it...always sat in front of tv...so we used the thunderstorm one night and told him the tv got broke!
Now I am at my mother's place and as you know we are all locked in,.......a few days before Easter I put him animal planet and discovery...he enjoys animals..he doesn't ask for it all the time..
I have to hide myself while using my phone or else I won't get it back for half an hour to 45mins...
I understand that kids must be aware of everything around them..he uses the phone like a pro! That's what scares me! He hasn't found out still that I give my phone to him only in flight mode...so no RUclips videos..only specific videos or photos he will be able to view..is it the same with your son!?

You can install YTKIDS APP(kidsyoutube) in ur mobile with age limit..it will help you to avoid the adult and unwanted videos..

Mam I have completed my 10 grade in the regular school and I have scored 421 marks and now I am studying 11 standard and I have been joined in a online neet coaching in school I have a lot of pressure they pressure me to take tests and a lot so I can't concentrate in my neet coaching so now I decided to join in home schooling but my question is does the mark scored by me in 11 and 12 have the same value as I have scored in regular schooling and if I applied for councling in future is there would be any problem because of my home schooling

Being at home puts a lot more pressure than going to school.
Only with exams and tests the kids brain would be put to test on whether he/she can retain things .... If he never faces exams ... he will never face failure and when he faces a big failure in future ... the kid won’t know how to handle that pressure .... we as adults can handle all the pressure only with experiences that took us through in school, college , etc .... without all this I don’t think a kid could handle even the slightest stress when put to test....When a kid can’t even handle a simple school exam ... how could you even talk about applying and studying for NEET which is one of the toughest exams all over India....a home schooled kid studying for NEET is absolute bizarreness ....I feel you are contradicting your own statements.... bcos when you say that you can’t teach him everything beyond your capacity and you have to depend on others ..... that is the whole point of SCHOOL .... and TEACHERS ....and in regular schooling as well as homeschool ... it is the same four walls .... same faces to meet everyday ..... that is not even a point ...
If you keep caring about the “comfort zone “ of the kid now .... I don’t think he / she will come out that comfort zone during difficult times ..... you can’t keep talking about a kids comfort zone and freedom .... there is a specific time when the kid can have all this ...all this “stress ilaama, bayam ilaama, depression illaama “ is your point of view .... no one knows what the kid thinks about all this ... one day he might come and ask you to enroll him in a school ... he might break down ....even regular kids have their free time to play and ask questions and everything else you said.... 24hours at home is more stress than 8 hours in school (where you have other kids and teachers ,etc).... even regular kids have that special time with parents.... this is my opinion .... you don’t have to answer or care but I would advice you to enroll your kid in a school for his sake and mental health .

I am not here to convince all the parents to do Homeschooling.. and one more thing I am not against to regular schooling..and I am helping and sharing my experience with the parents who is eager and intrested in homeschooling.. and this is not a argue forum too.. And we r not comparing any kids or education system we r just comparing the time and flexibility.. you are comfortable with the regular system and myself and my kid is comfortable with homeschooling system..
Homeschooling kids is not in home for the whole day they also doing different tasks and classes with activities in daily basis.. so don't worry they will achieve and face all the circumstances in the world and their Life.👍
