I have huge respect. One thing growing up (I'm in my 50s) is that as kids the assumption was that females couldn't do pull-ups. For our physical fitness test the boys would do pull-ups and the girls would do a static bar hang. I think as a woman wanting to do pull-ups there is that intimidation factor. Of course women and men can do it. We are MADE for this stuff. Look at our anatomy and ancestry. Look at our ridiculously massive clavicles, etc.

Hey there! Content per se is good, but the delivery is a bit slow. If I may suggest, I would work a bit into improving the rhythm of the video.
I really appreciate your attitude. Pull ups have always been a big challenge for me and I'm always looking for ways to improve my technique! Today I finally managed to do 9 in a row, aiming for 10.
Keep up the good content! 🔥

    Pull-ups.. - oh yeah. When I was training weight quite a lot, I managed some 30 pull-ups.
I was strong. I was 70 kg and could do 85 kg biceps and 7 pull-ups with one arm.
Then came arthritis. I was about one year out of all exercise. But as soon as I managed to get something going, I tried to do pull-ups... - I did 41!
All I can say, is that thick arms get tired soon, no matter how strong they are. When I had lost surely at least 30 % of my strength, I still made my record in pull-ups - easily.
So, U can't have everything: either U are very strong, or U are able to do long series.

You have to practice pull ups specifically!! Being active is great, but are you actually practicing the pull up and training accessory exercises that will help you achieve your first one?

@@AbovetheBar.Fitness I am always active I do landscaping. Raking leaves. Trimming trees bushes mowing lawn. Weedwacker cleaning the house planting going hiking bike riding blowing leaves walks this is called being active . With all this staying active can't figure out why can't do pull up. Plus not overweight. Even try losing weight caused by a cruise of 16 lbs. Thought that caused it but still zero pull ups not solved

@@franklevantini3239 being active is GREAT, but there is no specificity here. You have to specifically train for the goal that you are trying to achieve. In this case, pull ups. Imagine me saying “I’d like to run faster! But I don’t know why I am not able to, I drive fast, I can do sit ups, I can throw far but I just can’t run fast!” Because I’m not training running.
