Exactly! Props to Robert for handling that so professionally. (I could see the anger and irritation etched onto his face, I don't know how an interviewer can be so ignorant) And I definitely wouldn't have been as polite. Although I literally clapped when Robert was like "Your foot's getting a bit jumpy, so I suggest you get to the next question," while giving him *Bring it* look.
I swear. This interviewer thinks that he's a psychologist and that he needs to pick apart each person he interviews. How does this man still have a job??
It's entertaining to watch somebody who has an arrogant and egotistical persona try to play God by judging the lifestyle choices of celebrities and artists. That's what he puts down on the table on his end of his own barter system, and financial gain is what he receives in return.
What that obese Martin Bashir lookalike has to be arrogant about is beyond me. It's not about him, it's about the people that are granting him time for an interview. Nobody should speak to this fool, and he'd be out of a job
ibtrumpet513 he should have realised how RDJ was literally forcing himself tostay calm. You can see how strressed he was based on how many long breaths he took.
No, that isn't his job. These celebs are worth millions, and do these interviews to promote the projects they've worked on. I'm sure they have other things they'd rather be doing with their time. To be cornered, or blind sided, and asked about dark moments from their past that anybody would rather forget, is unfair, and a selfish dick move by the fat moron in the video. Downey's past has nothing to do with the film he's promoting. The interviewer is trying to further his own career by getting reactions like these and becoming notorious. Nothing else
Interviewer was showing nervous body language because things were getting heated. (fidgeting his foot around, you see RDJ pick up on it just before he says it) He mentioned it with passive aggression to let him know who's in charge of what's said. You'll see Tom Cruise use similar techniques when interviews start diverting somewhere they don't want them to go. It's a mild form of intimidation.
I feel so bad for RDJ. You can see how his breath starts getting heavy after the super personal questions and you can see the pain in his eyes. He clearly did not wanna talk about it and that guy just kept getting too personal.
Channel 4 is a struggling broadcasting station, this is one way they try to capture audiences. Hes trying to do his best Howard Stern impression without the humor or honest questions.
"Are we talking about the movie?" " *Coughs* " Interviewer: "I dont know how incomfortable you are" Tony: "You have as much time as anyone else" Interviewer: "So let me ask some more questions". Dude. Do you need help understanding a hint??!
Lol I'm always surprised to find people who genuinely think other races are inferior trying to sound smarter themselves whilst having no true scientific basis. Change your display name to "terrible insight" or something
"The reason I'm asking about the past..." Well, you're not really supposed to be. Ask ANY celebrity at all about their movie or tv show or book or family or whatever POSITIVE things in their life presently or it just becomes pointless and awkward for everyone else. Oh and downey's awesome and handled that well. Lol.
The way i got it was more like "you're growing up alongside your character, learning from each other and becoming better people". That was perfectly fine in my eyes, until those questions by the end lol
if they had zoomed in on his face when he looked at the camera at the end, they could have transitioned into a one on one interview and made it into a scene from The Office
I know right!? It was so clear just from his "your foots twitching, you should ask your next question" that Robert was getting fed up, you'd think the interviewer would get the hint.
He was fucking seething with anger. I am surprised that the interviewer didn't get punched. ON a Sirius XM interview or something like that that, RDJ said that "he wished that he would have walked out sooner", and that if he hadn't walked out, the interviewer WOULD have got punched. You don't ask someone about the most troubling and terrible time in someone's life when the person is there to promote a fun summer blockbuster.
yep, especially since it was what, over 12 years ago. I was a raging druggo 12 years ago and I would really dislike it if someone (who didnt know me) brought it up like it was just "fair game". I'm sure you share the same opinion that the interviewer should have talked to him on a personal level before the camera's were involved and asked him if it was ok to broach that subject. Docuhe bag interviewer haha
erik wheeldon Krishnan went ouf of the line. It was a promo for the movie. Definitely not something where you invoke deep and dark subiects.. i'd have him sacked for this
lol, he was really great "your father yada yada and drugs" he's there to promote his superhero film what the f's all the yellow stuff got to do with it? So boring, rude and irrelevant
he was being a nosy dick, but that was the point. the majority of the public only cares about an interview if it went bad like this one. who gives a fuck about a normal ass interview? which got them much more publicity.
Seeing this comment section is proof enough. Most people are classy enough to recognize and say the interviewer was a total prick and completely out of line. But like .5% of the population here are actually defending this guy. Can we just get rid of those people. They ruin shit for everyone.
That is the key line, but for the exact opposite reason of your point. UK News shows aren't allowed to promote things. They can't advertise because they have to be impartial and disinterested. This interview ISN'T made to promote the movie, and Americans don't get that because the news there is terrible.
Interesting that you'd think that since Krishnan Guru-Murthy's definitely not a news reporter. Downey Jnr's life isn't a news story -- in case you were confused and thought it was.
Guru Murthy's major flaw as an interviewer is that he (apparently) has shit nonverbal reading skills Notice the way the smile drops on Robert's face at 3:59, the way he looks desperately at other people in the room, and then later how he begins to hyperventilate...if that doesn't scream ''Please change the subject'' then I don't know what does. A good interviewer would have spotted these cues and thought ''Shit, these questions are making my interviewee feel uncomfortable. I better change my line of questioning''.
I think one of the most important things Guru-Murthy forgot to consider was the people who would be watching the interview, Robert Downey Jr was there to promote Age of Ultron, a family film, so it stands to reason there will have been a lot of younger fans of RDJ watching this interview because they want to hear about Iron Man and the Avengers, not RDJ's trouble with drugs or stint in prison. or even his relationship with his father. As soon as RDJ became Iron Man he tried to keep all that stuff in the past because he didn't want younger fans finding out about his past and emulating it.
Smug Jackson Because the people that hire him do not care about being nice or using tact. They care about ratings only and this kind of stuff gives them ratings.
Cobalt No, the interviewer just has a reputation for being a prick. Several times, RDJ tried changing the topic, making it very clear he wasn't comfortable talking about his past life, especially with his son making the same mistakes he did. Robert was well within his rights to walk out of that interview.
you can visibly see him breathing harder like he was having a panic attack and thinking about how to respond to his questions. He couldn't so he decides to put on his friendly actor persona and walk out like a bitch.
Do you realize he has to watch the slightlest reaction he makes or otherwise everyone will jump onto him to criticize? Heck there you are criticizing him for not wanting to answer the question and "friendly" taking off.
Not sure if anyone gives a damn but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times then you can stream all the new movies on InstaFlixxer. I've been watching with my girlfriend these days xD
I don't he was trolling. IMO he was un prepared for that line of questioning and it came off as disrespectful and he didn't phrase his questions correctly to coincide how he intended. I think he was trying to basically say how far RDJ has progressed from his past. As has the character he plays.
+ Atzy Indeed! That is why Downy is where he is and Murthy is a fifth rate newsreader. The first problem among many with Murthy is that he does not know his place.
How can he just bring up the bad things like that? He and everyone else have bad times, I'm sure he wouldn't like to talk about his darkest time in a interview for a film
The last question was, does RDJ think he's free of all the dark stuff from the past... like not if assholes like you want to keep bringing it up. GEEZ. He was always a brilliant actor- and obviously had a wild streak in his younger days. He's emerged victorious with one hell of a comeback as more mature but still fun loving. He's alive, he survived where a lot of other people's dead heroes did not. He's amazing as ever.
He was there to promote a movie, not talk about his past. Yes in a sense he is like Tony Stark that he went through a dark period but arose anew and better than ever. Instead of delving into his past (he also got multiple hints by RDJ that he didn't want to go down that route) he could've asked the single question "Do you feel a stronger connection playing Tony Stark due to both you and the character having bad pasts but overcoming them into a brighter future?", but instead the man fucked up. Props to Robert for walking out.
whats up with ambushing actors this is the 2nd time i'm seeing him do this.. seems like he's trying to get something controversial to happen in order to get publicity for himself on the back of a celebrity.. sad
I love the moments leading up to RDJ walking out where you see his eyes glaze, his stare become narrow and intense, and his breathing becomes heavy and quick.
hahahaa yeah, I would have done the same thing....except only minutes earlier. That guy is soo stupid. Might as well asked RDJ for a blood sample and his personal phone number and sexual fantasies.! Dude you are promoting a movie..not finding every little secret on the life of the stars!
the interviewer is actually quite good but he's not the sort of interviewer you use to interview a movie star for the promotion of a marvel movie. The interviewer is used and is better with politicians and people who should be held accountable for their actions. It's really a situation of the wrong man for the job. Well done to RDJ for keeping it cool and yeah the interviewer should have changed style but I'm guessing from his perspective when the person getting interviewed feels awkward he's doing his job (remember he used to dealing with lying politicians).
Operaton Creation not good at movie promos at all. It's like that awkward Sam Jackson-Laurence fishburne mix up on that news channel after that super bowl ad.
at 6 min from the interview you just touched a really personal and sensitive subject in his life. He hasn't talk about it before he's not gonna be happy on talk about it now. Right there that interview was done.
Did anyone else notice how he started moving around nervously and anxiously when the guy started getting personal? I felt so bad for him. Glad he just walked away :)
You can almost feel all the adrenaline that rushes through RDJ when the interviewers starts to go personal. Notice how his breathing changes and becomes alot heavier.
I got to give props to how well Robert Downy Jr. handled the situation. He didn't yell, he didn't swear, he didn't call names, or any of that. RDJ was all "I don't like where this is going and the subject clearly isn't changing despite my saying so. With that, see ya. Have a good one."
3:57-4:01 What I imagine is going on in RDJ's mind: "Hm, which quote..?" "Oh, that one" "Uh oh here goes the prodding" *looks over* "Can you believe this guy?" He was so polite in answering that interviewer's nosy question, too. What an awful shame that interviewer is.
I would've done the same thing. That interviewer is supposdedly a professional and he can go two syllables without a verbal crutch like uh or umm. He's a hack that doesn't do his research and has no business conducting interviews in the first place. I love how RDJ started reacting towards the end with just agreeing with him because the interviewer was asking loaded questions throughout the interview. Props to RDJ for sticking with it as long as he did and for not losing his shit like Quentin did with this same interviewer.
oh god rdj being my favorite celebrity and person, i got so mad at the interviewer for this. if i was him i wouldn't have left this so kindly. seeing him like this makes me very sad and mad.
I feel like RDJ played the best way he could. Someone comes at you with a bunch of old crap from your past that you're not proud of, and you're supposed to just smile and like it? He was very polite, listened to the questions, and was OBVIOUSLY not comfortable. His agent gave him the okay to leave, and he did. No profanity, no being a jerk, nothing. Well played RDJ, well played.
Downey gave this guy every benefit of the doubt, until it was completely clear the guy had no interest in talking about the movie.
Yeah, honestly, considering how bad the questions were I wasn't expecting such a polite response
Who would honestly rather talk about movies and comics rather than (publicly for the 100th time) their dark history to someone they barely know?
I think it is his job to act a certain way to get a reaction.
The look on his face made me feel like he's trying his best not to beat the shot out of him
Yousef Gamer I would've loved to see him get the "shot" beat out of him.
Actually, That's the look of "this is neither the time or place for that". Honestly we've all been there.
RDJ- What are we doing?
Dumb interviewer- Well I'm just asking questions.
RDJ- Right... BYE!
69th like
"Your foot's starting to jump a little bit you better get to your next question" i SWEAR that was Tony Stark coming out 😂😂
NovaEnforcer Read that just as he said it
NovaEnforcer
Nope, Sherlock. Reading body language is Sherlock's thing which he played years ago.
But what did he mean by that ?
Interviewer was showing nervous body language because things were getting heated. (fidgeting his foot around, you see RDJ pick up on it just before he says it) He mentioned it with passive aggression to let him know who's in charge of what's said. You'll see Tom Cruise use similar techniques when interviews start diverting somewhere they don't want them to go. It's a mild form of intimidation.
Especially the breathing. Good lord my heart rate spiked with RDJ at 5:59
when the interviewer starts to ask questions of his past i notice how RDJ starts breathing nervously and his eyes get watery... my heart just broke
That's not nervous... That's angry.
Valtteri Manala honestly it was probably anger and panic mixed into one
Trumplovesfuckinghisdaughter teamster well yeah but I'm sure there's some fear mixed in there.
Iqra Arif he was livid
Nervous? I think you mean anger. LOL
I love the camera man's facial expression at the end.
"You done fucked it up again, didn't you?"
"Well that was a shitshow!"
Gencoil "well ill be damned, marty"
Gencoil "You're so fired!"
I feel so bad for RDJ. You can see how his breath starts getting heavy after the super personal questions and you can see the pain in his eyes. He clearly did not wanna talk about it and that guy just kept getting too personal.
I thought this interviewer's butt was already shut down by Quentin Tarantino.
well apparently it opened back up.
Channel 4 is a struggling broadcasting station, this is one way they try to capture audiences. Hes trying to do his best Howard Stern impression without the humor or honest questions.
he's a bonafied narcissist. in his warped mind, everything he does is great.
Filbert Street Michael Jackson deserved investigation tho
Filbert Street no it wasn't. You're thinking of Martin Bashir
"Are we talking about the movie?"
" *Coughs* "
Interviewer: "I dont know how incomfortable you are"
Tony: "You have as much time as anyone else"
Interviewer: "So let me ask some more questions".
Dude. Do you need help understanding a hint??!
NIGHTHOWL Did you write Tony instead of RDJ by accident? I just want to know because It's funny how they are so similiar people mix them up lol
He may be "British" but he's still an Indian and has their awful social awareness. There's no "hint" or "intuition" to them. You have to spell it out.
Lol I'm always surprised to find people who genuinely think other races are inferior trying to sound smarter themselves whilst having no true scientific basis. Change your display name to "terrible insight" or something
"The reason I'm asking about the past..."
Well, you're not really supposed to be. Ask ANY celebrity at all about their movie or tv show or book or family or whatever POSITIVE things in their life presently or it just becomes pointless and awkward for everyone else.
Oh and downey's awesome and handled that well. Lol.
Holtsar At this point Tony is Robert now they're just too similar
"hes becoming a better guy"
"in a way that you are as well"
"uhhh...sure"
LOL
I thought to myself, wow did he just go there. What a stupid thing to say as an interviewer.
Yeah, this was the point of this whole video
The interviewer is a dickhead
stonepawmcgraw He low key called Robert a bad person to his face lol
The way i got it was more like "you're growing up alongside your character, learning from each other and becoming better people". That was perfectly fine in my eyes, until those questions by the end lol
RDJ- "Your foot is starting to jump, so you better get to the next question."
Interviewer- "uhhhhhhhh... (Got Served)
Captain C Music roasted xD
I didn't quite understand that bit, can someone explain?
Mr Undertaker It's a sign of nervousness which was enhanced when RDJ called it out.
@David Ödvall Oh right, thanks
followed by DEATH STARE
Lamooo this is exactly how Tony Stark would react and answer these questions if he was real.
James Johnson if it was Tony Stark he'd start answering the questions
this should be forced make an interview with Christian Bale in a bad mood ..
He should he would talk about his big rant and how he doesn't get on with members of his family.
Roku Sasaki THIS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU MATE
ever seen that scene in the dark knight lol
Roku Sasaki SO BLOODY UNPROFESSIONAL
Properly Gaming HAHAHA you are spot on. YOU A NICE GUY, I KNOW YOU A NICE GUY BUT !!!
Guy in glasses at the end is like, "dude you fucked up" .
maggothim lol
maggothim More like "You're so fired".
if they had zoomed in on his face when he looked at the camera at the end, they could have transitioned into a one on one interview and made it into a scene from The Office
True that!
Uppity English smuck, who is that guy pierce's roommate.
wow, robert kept his chill, well at least alot more than tarantino
Paul Won A land mine deals with pressure better than Tarantino.
The shift in RDJ's face you could tell he was getting irritated so why would you push him like that
I know right!? It was so clear just from his "your foots twitching, you should ask your next question" that Robert was getting fed up, you'd think the interviewer would get the hint.
He was fucking seething with anger. I am surprised that the interviewer didn't get punched. ON a Sirius XM interview or something like that that, RDJ said that "he wished that he would have walked out sooner", and that if he hadn't walked out, the interviewer WOULD have got punched. You don't ask someone about the most troubling and terrible time in someone's life when the person is there to promote a fun summer blockbuster.
ThiSyndrentic who is this clown?
ThiSyndrentic yep nobody cares
Exactly, RDJ didn't exactly want people to know he was incarcerated, did drugs, or had alcohol issues but the fuck lick just laid it all out there.
this reporter is such a mean person talking about Robert Downey Jr's past that's a touchy subject
yep, especially since it was what, over 12 years ago. Docuhe bag interviewer haha
what the fuck, is this dr phil or a movie interview
it's a fucking intervention
loll!! "little too diane sawyer for me". omg i love it.
You could see that RDJ did not want to go into that stuff and the guy would not shut up
3:54-4:01 Robert literally goes through every emotion in those 7 seconds
alis lol
alis that was the best part 😂😂😂
alis haha omg I just realized that. That's so funny. 😂
*Not a great plan*
Yee McGee You had me cracking up with this comment.
Yee McGee boom roasted
Good for Robert Downy Jr. He was there to promote a superhero movie...Not talk about his past.
erik wheeldon Krishnan went ouf of the line. It was a promo for the movie. Definitely not something where you invoke deep and dark subiects.. i'd have him sacked for this
lol, he was really great
"your father yada yada and drugs" he's there to promote his superhero film what the f's all the yellow stuff got to do with it? So boring, rude and irrelevant
he was being a nosy dick, but that was the point. the majority of the public only cares about an interview if it went bad like this one. who gives a fuck about a normal ass interview? which got them much more publicity.
William Bates might be true for the BBC, not, however, not for channel 4. It is a commercial channel. Promotion is allowed.
this explains everything. and i cannot say no more about this even if i want to and even if i think i know what's going on
Seeing this comment section is proof enough. Most people are classy enough to recognize and say the interviewer was a total prick and completely out of line. But like .5% of the population here are actually defending this guy. Can we just get rid of those people. They ruin shit for everyone.
Bunson Baker no we don’t need to get rid of them just ignore them
Unfortunately they have a right to their opinions as well no matter how stupid
Dude right tho. This comment is golde
Is this guy actually Rita Skeeter wtf
Alex Gilbert nice post! hahaha
Alex Gilbert honestly tho, i really hope that hermione comes by, makes him a beetle and sticks him in a jar. maybe ant-man can help out with that🤷🏼♀️
Ashley Lavalle yay!! ♂
the lighting is better on the interviewer than RDJ lololol wtf
Jesus dude, he's British, and nationality & ethnicity have no role in the issue. You're about as insensitive as the person you're insulting.
Robert hinted in the "this is going out of the line" plenty of times. the guy is indeed a shmuck.
That is the key line, but for the exact opposite reason of your point. UK News shows aren't allowed to promote things. They can't advertise because they have to be impartial and disinterested. A good interviewer would have spotted these cues and thought ''Shit, these questions are making my interviewee feel uncomfortable. I better change my line of questioning''.
nothing wrong with Indians they're reaLLY smart and were great allies during the british empire and ever since
You're just volatile for no reason.
"I don't mean to pry" - Goes on to pry with deeply personal questions about political affiliation and criminal history.
Smug Jackson Because the people that hire him do not care about being nice or using tact. They care about ratings only and this kind of stuff gives them ratings.
Dude makes $150 mill a movie and most of his scenes are CGI. Downey is a pussy- looked like he was about to cry before running away.
Cobalt No, the interviewer just has a reputation for being a prick. Some teach me to stay as calm and have as much class as RDJ in that situation.
Genius. They know exactly what the viewers want. A horrific high speed crash. Trolling disguised as an interview
+gaines1983 but brithish style .
gaines1983
Not sure if anyone gives a damn but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times then you can stream all the new movies on InstaFlixxer. I've been watching with my girlfriend these days xD
@Brantley Alan Definitely, been using InstaFlixxer for years myself =)
I don't he was trolling. IMO he was un prepared for that line of questioning and it came off as disrespectful and he didn't phrase his questions correctly to coincide how he intended. I think he was trying to basically say how far RDJ has progressed from his past. As has the character he plays.
That's what he gets for prying at the mans past. Honestly I don't think he could've handled that in a better way.
Man. Downy is such a class act.
+ Atzy
Indeed! That is why Downy is where he is and Murthy is a fifth rate newsreader.
The first problem among many with Murthy is that he does not know his place.
Atzy classy as fuck
Atzy I
6:10 how Dare you speak of mr.stark's father like that
Krishnan Guru-Murthy is the kind of people that makes this world a little worst every day.
Let the man move on, he made mistakes, we all have.
Patrick Bateman this isn't the first time tho, he did the same sort of thing with Tarantino
Christian Huezo I think he is refering to RDJ
Ismael Gonzalez he did this to Tarantino and RDJ. Only difference was one got pissed and the other one left.
I love how he stares the guy down.
This is difficult to watch
He shut his butt down good and proper
How can he just bring up the bad things like that? He and everyone else have bad times, I'm sure he wouldn't like to talk about his darkest time in a interview for a film
Hmm, this interview seems to be going fine (asks about his incarceration) aaaaand now we're flying off the rails to Mars.
Jasper Sitwell interviews Tony Stark
He faced the situation like a champ... more respect
RDJ's a boss
#badassRDJ
whats up with ambushing actors this is the 2nd time i'm seeing him do this.. seems like he's trying to get something controversial to happen in order to get publicity for himself on the back of a celebrity.. sad
Eidlones I thought that was Martin Bashir, or whatever his name was.
This IS Martin Bashir.
RDJ was very eloquent and answered the questions in a very diplomatic way. He's super cool, handled that interview like a boss.
damn he was so angry there a the end
He handled it well, mad respect for RDJ
I see no difference between Robert Downey Jr and Tony Stark. They are one in the same
The guy asks the stupidest questions I think he is pissing them off deliberate
I love the moments leading up to RDJ walking out where you see his eyes glaze, his stare become narrow and intense, and his breathing becomes heavy and quick.
This interviewer needs to lose his job.
good for rdj, he was actually being very respectful
He is there to talk about a movie not his troubled past. The interviewer was a jerk.
RDJ handled this really well actually. He wasn't angry or anything.
Robert breaths heavily "Bye"
Unicorn Normy I should do that whenever someone tells me it's gonna snow another 8 inches.
You could tell in his face that he was fucking pissed. But he handled that extremely well in a classy way and I applaud him for that
Who else skipped to the end?
This man is a professional at making people uncomfortable
Send in Eric Andre.
lol
The interviewer is completely stepping over the line . Rdj handled it like a boss
this interviewer needs to calm his shit down
2 years later. How the hell did I miss this video
Damn Downey turned to Tony Stark there 💯🔥
Savage💯⭐️😄
6:52 - Guy on the left be like: "I think I just SHAT my pants"
Thanks God he had not his Armour with him.. This guy would have been blown away...
"Your foot's jumping. Better get to your next question."
Badass.
3:14 Was when he fucked up.
Come on man, don't make this about RDJ...
Even when he's mad, he's still Tony Stark, he doesn't even need to think about it
Is this the guy that pissed off Tarantino?
Yep
"That's the nice thing is you can have opinions..."
Best quote from the video.
hahahaa yeah, I would have done the same thing....except only minutes earlier. That guy is soo stupid. Might as well asked RDJ for a blood sample and his personal phone number and sexual fantasies.! Dude you are promoting a movie..not finding every little secret on the life of the stars!
If Robert looked at me like that, I would have run away with the speed of light
the interviewer is actually quite good but he's not the sort of interviewer you use to interview a movie star for the promotion of a marvel movie.
He's there to advertise the movie. This isn't Dr Phil.
this guy isn't good at his job lol....
That pat on the shoulder at 6:39 though. 😂😂😂 Like "Dueces! I'm out."
RDJ's face when he starts asking personal questions is the face I think we all had.
Hope he feels good about himself laughing in the end, as another day of his amazing journalist life.
3:19 interviewer was waiting to ask that question so he could go towards jail and drugs
I love that as he's about to leave you can here the RDJ team saying "thank you guys" like they already know he's going to leave.
You can almost feel all the adrenaline that rushes through RDJ when the interviewers starts to go personal. Notice how his breathing changes and becomes alot heavier.
Honestly, if you feel as though it's a bad idea to ask the question, then don't ask the question. It's really that simple.
Love the look the guy gave him at the end lol all I could hear was Bill Duke from menace to society saying "you know you fucked up right".
you could tell RDJ was getting stressed just by looking at how hard he was breathing at the end...
Honestly, RDJ was shockingly polite considering how bad some of those questions were
I can't tell if, when Robert starts breathing deeper, if that's anger or just straight up panic. Honestly it could've been both for all we know.
I got to give props to how well Robert Downy Jr. handled the situation. He didn't yell, he didn't swear, he didn't call names, or any of that. RDJ was all "I don't like where this is going and the subject clearly isn't changing despite my saying so. With that, see ya. Have a good one."
3:57-4:01 What I imagine is going on in RDJ's mind:
"Hm, which quote..?"
"Oh, that one"
"Uh oh here goes the prodding"
*looks over*
"Can you believe this guy?"
He was so polite in answering that interviewer's nosy question, too.
"Are we promoting a movie?" God I love RDJ's savagery😂
It doesn't matter how many times I watch this interview, I still feel extremely awkward.
Well played RDJ, well played.
that older guy at the end had a priceless sitcom look on his face.
his breathing got so hard and he just looked depressed as soon as he mentioned his dad
duuuuude his personality just flows like tony at the end with the diane sawyer crack i was dying
