Have you thought about going back to old tutorials and doing a reaction video where you talk about what you would do different, now that you’ve updated and simplified your process? For example, if you aren’t using as many plugins on a vocal chain, explain why you wouldn’t follow the same process. Just so we can see what you learned from analyzing an old workflow and what you changed moving forward.
Can't lie man, this was one of the most refreshing, conversational, no-nonsense interviews I've seen in a while. Even LJ was more "serious" than normal lol (he be funny af tho frfr). This one was full of gems and perspective that reminds us, "keep it simple". It's okay to be "in the box" or not have a $20,000 vox chain at the crib lol. Thank y'all so much man. I just pulled an all-nighter at my studio in Miami and came straight home to watch you guys. Much appreciated to everyone on the cast and involved.
I seriously feel having a $20,000 vocal chain is totally ridiculous. Only the gear nerds would 🤔 see it differently. Devon is the biggest gear nerd. He is so infatuated. 😂😂😂😂😂 good podcast.
Man of course! I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for this platform. From the bedroom, to Full Sail, to international client lists, off the strength of older HMD vids. Y'all goated and need to pat yallselves on the back more frfr. @@HelpMeDevvon

About time someone mentions the Dinossaur that is Sony ACID Pro 😂 Myself, I started on Sony Sound Forge and later, ACID because I used to see "Recorded o ACID" in the metadata of the songs we were downloading, in the underground scene in Portugal 😂 recorded some decent tracks with it and learned a lot about the process to now use that knowledge with the artists I work with, I think for people my age, It should have been more of a staple software between engineers and producers. These videos are a godsend! 😁 Thank you Devvon and the gang! 🫶
The thing with internal storage man you can’t download the plugins and stuff to SSD. Right now I have 2 TB of SSD but I can’t do much downloading cause my internal is full😂
Yooooooooooo!!!!!! That we don’t have gear in Africa? N that Wizkid has to come to you for a Sony mic? Sheeeeeesh!!! He did that purely from a brand perspective not a quality or technical thing bro!!! From minute 9 to around 13 you guys are tripping!!!
First of all ,thank you so much! You guys have amazing energy which I love about you,but it'll be better if control it & try not to interrupt the person you invited...just please let him talk until he got nothing to say. Thanks again

Wiz does not need to travel to the US to get access to quality equipment. There are huge studios in Africa, like Mido Studios(Mido Productions)
