Great video, hit some good points....I live in a dead zone about 200 miles south of you (fished the area were you are when i was a kid)..............those are some mighty clean traps lets see some vids of the dirty ones and all the hard work that goes into that. From a fellow waterman
this will sound stupid but, when you buy your tags for each badket, is that tag good for a year or just till you pull it out of the water? was searching on Florida website but no clear answer
Your tags are good from June 30th to June 30th the following year...... so your tags are good for a year. If you are recreationally fishing you may have 5 traps per valid Florida saltwater fishing license, or 10 per vessel (if u have a buddy with u who also possesses a license) you must have a white buoy with an "R" for recreational on it and your license info.. You do not need tags unless your commercial crabbing with a VH endorsement. Hope this helped, thanks for watching ;)
Are you still around? I want to start doing some recreational crabbing in Key Largo as a hobby, and got a question or two for you. I’m retired and live in Coral Springs. BTW: Florida FWC just announced mandatory pot registration for recreational crabbers starting 2020. Other regs are the same as before.
Thanks. Enjoyed your video and good info. We enjoy blue crabbing in North Miami Beach.

Hi
That's cool that you abide by your own standards when it comes to crab size.
On a side note, the vid quality could be better. Otherwise a great vid.
what river is this filmed on?
Bulow creek, Ormond beach.
Leave the females , you will have more yield , next time and again !
Rare Form female crab only reproduce once in their lifetime
I WANT TO SALE CRABS, DO YOU NEED LICENSES TO BECOME A COMMERCIAL CRABBER
