Today i went out to shoot a roll of film with the 3D-Printed Adapter for 35mm Film in 120 medium format cameras. Come with my, while I explore the world of this tedious adventures journey through the valley of the city of horses itself... Stuttgart...
Is this a worthy Hasselblad X-Pan Knock off? At least a great 35mm panorama solution.

Here is what I never understand about people who do this. Instead of spooling onto a 3d printed roll that mimics a 120 spool. You should be spooling it into another 35mm empty canister and when you're at the end, just cut the roll from the first canister. You won't need a dark bag
Yes, I also thought about this possibility. Someone on my last 3D Printed video recommended this to me. It would also work. But in the end I have decided to go the darkbag way.
There are adapters for two canisters, however I cannot understand how the film is pushed into the second canister. I don't see how it works.
Lovely little video. I like your inquisitive nature. I think those panoramic photos turned out really well. Also, I am hoping to visit Stuttgart next year, from my home in London, and possibly have a side trip to Esslingen too.

If you plan to visit stuttgart, i can recommend the Wilhelma Zoo. It is one of the oldest zoos in Germany. And depending on the time you visit, Spring festival or Wasen in autumn (Oktoberfest for this area) can take place.
Also go to the two car museums. Porsche is smaller, but has the better cars (hehe) but Mercedes Benz is much bigger and more to show. Both are actually worth a visit.
Esslingen is great for christmas markets with their medieval theme.
I did it on 1924 6x9 folder with an 65mm wide mask, counted the revs with a dummy roll and wrote them down like 1.- 3.5 turns downt to 2 turns on the last photo , got another folder with a rangefinder so the focusing is better. It's fun to use those antiques
Yeah, I think, I will also try to count the revolutions over one roll. Maybe I can get one shot more. Thanks for the tip. :-)
I am thinking about trying it on the Agfa Clack one time, but I fear the image quality will be not that great because the film will maybe not align to the curved backplate properly. With 120film the Clack is great. :-)
I am not understanding why you would not crop off the top and bottom portions of the 120 film to make a 35mm sized image across the middle of the 120 film.

Na, because at first I have the tools and I want to use them. Second, it feels better, to use the "filet"part of the medium format lens and press it on 35mm film, than to take a larger 120film steak and just cut out the best parts. ;-)

you get more shots on the 35mm film method than using 120 film and also there are some films that are only available in 35mm format and not 120.
