Its always fascinating to learn how much time these guys have dedicated to master the art of clickbate headlines, fast paced editing and visual effects to capture peoples attention span and exploit our hardwired vulnerabilities. It would be interesting to know do they ever feel guilt or deep concern about addicting so many people into watching literally billions of hours of mindless entertainment just for the small spike of dopamine, instead any true fulfillment or real lasting satisfaction.🤔 Seems like a taboo subject in these interviews - while being the most obvious one. Jimmy clearly seems to be bothered that people only order fast food from his restaurants that will give them brain cancer, heart disease and diabetes on a global scale, instead buying the healthy options that they have. Seems a bit weird thing to celebrate, get excited about and to be proud of in our culture. Being the predator who hooks school children into gambling, mobile games or sugar just for the better ROI.💸 As entertaining and captivating as the videos may be, nowadays internet addiction is a very real problem affecting millions/billions of people everyday. These digital replacement therapies on a screen rob millions people of their real life achievements, good health, meaningful connection, true love and other priceless things in life. Is it wise to exploit kids and teenagers by making this content as addictive as possible, and turn our vulnerable youth into braindead consumers with 4 second attention span, with no social skills, poor sleep, bad health and unable to focus on their school, career and life full of laughter, love and real adventures?🏝
At 1:18:15 Jimmy questions how many of Lex's viewers are interested in this much talk about RUclips analytics, and I just wanted to say that I thoroughly enjoyed watching even though I don't care about RUclips analytics. I just enjoy watching passionate people talking about the things they're passionate about. There is a lot to learn by watching others who have dedicated their life to something specific, and just the general way they perceive the world and treat their experiences. You share a lot of insight that applies far outside of RUclips, so even though that is the specific topic of this conversation, everyone can take away something that will benefit them in their own unique situations.
Listening to passionate people also gives you a different view from what you are used to. And it is usually rather inspiring to hear them discuss their chain of thoughts.
Agreed, i don't care about you analytics in the slightest but listening to experts talk about things i don't care about or know anything about is exactly why i watch Lex's videos.
I could listen to Jimmy talk about this for hours. The more he talks the more inspired I get about the subject even though I don't care at the beginning.
Hey Lex I’m one of your “typical”viewers. I’m a 42 year old male. I don’t think I’m alone in saying, that I love your content, because of your thoughtful, humble, loving approach to podcasting. You are genuine, you are insightful, and just like Jimmy said, you asked questions that haven’t been asked before. Typical Viewer named Dan.
Yeah, no offense Dan, but you really are typical. Everything about you is typical. Even the typicalness is typical. What I'm trying to say is that you're that typical kinda typical. But me. I'm special. I'm that special kinda special I wish you great typicality Dan my man. And no. I don't have anything better to do
I do not work in analytics and don’t seek out info on analytics but I could listen to them talk about the “whys” for 10 hours. It’s not just an analytics convo but a convo of thought process. Incredible interview, Lex!
Same here. I also am fascinated with the average mind. (I am on the spectrum) so I watched this video hoping to better understand what "normal" people like to watch, and maybe gain insight into the why they like it. I have never watched Mr Beast before although I had heard the name. Now of course, I am going to have to watch a few to see what the fuss is about. Just on the surface, his thumbnails would not entice me in. His subjects do not grab me, but, that isn't a surprise given that I am not his target audience. Lex does know his audience well. Many of us are just curious people interested in............anything interesting.
I don't know about the "typical Lex viewer", but for me a 2 hours lecture on RUclips analytics by MrBeast, the most qualified person on Earth on the topic of RUclips analytics, is exactly the kind of content I expect from "Lex Fridman podcast with MrBeast" and it's f*cking awesome!
I am a curious human. I am 60. None of this was available when I was your age. You can help me think differently. I feel inspired. I got a great education today. Thank you.
@@BoutiqueTiger whoe jacks...did you notice our numbers...that's a little crazy? No actually I had never heard of Lex, I didn't know people my age watch him.
This guy is not only a self-made, hard working videomaking genius but also seems like a good, not greedy, unproblematic human being. The fact that he can have this much success gives me optimism and motivation.
@@demun6065because the definition of genius is: an exceptionally intelligent person or one with exceptional skill in a particular area of activity (videomaking and virality optimization)
I never imagined I'd spend 2 hours on anything other than a major motion picture... I am very impressed with the conversation, your guest engagement, and your humility even after your own resounding success. Great interview, this was so much fun to watch.
52:57 This is why I like the guy, this is the attitude that bleeds into everything else he does, this is what makes him such an inspiration. "in general I see them all as collaborators not competitors".
@@JButt- I mean, its also just true. Stuff like treating your competitors as enemies is only viable when there aren't a lot of players left in a market. (Thats why he talks so much shit about hersheys (honestly I think he mentions that brand specifically to create a false dichotomy in people's mind so that they loose track of all the other snack brands))
Hey Lex, I'm watching on Spotify and heard Mr Beast saying to leave a comment if I enjoy the discussion about analytics. I found it to be interesting. Highly enjoying this podcast episode.
10 billion he said b4 lol..old saying of power corrupting ultimately etc. Mr beast is buying his own media reviews now. Much love and listen to bob marley ❤️
I’m glad that Jimmy is the epitome of RUclips success. He’s the type you want at the head of content creators because he just wants the best end product. He’s not a money grubbing studio exec making business decisions over artistic ones. Not to say the man doesn’t have business savvy, but just that he’s a real human just trying to make the best video content while also being hugely philanthropic along the way. Makes it easy to root for the guy even though I’ve seen like two of his videos.
I call bullshit. Wait for it unless he becomes the next bill gates. Everyone can be a "KICK ARSE ENTREPRENEUR" FU×K OFF. He needs counselling or just have good family around him to be grounded.
this often goes for pioneers.... one a "formula" is there, these moneygrabbers come... though YT/content space is pretty cutthroat anyway with all skills given, trained, like high level athlete, so not many can survive long without truly loving it
You're absolutely right..... Good evening how are you doing over there hope you're having have a wonderful day it's a wonderful day that the lord has made.
🤯🔥 This podcast with MrBeast is an absolute must-watch for anyone interested in the future of online content creation and social media platforms! MrBeast always brings a unique perspective, and in this discussion with Lex, he provides invaluable insights into the ever-evolving landscape of RUclips, Twitter, and Instagram. It's fascinating to hear about his predictions and thoughts on where these platforms are headed. Thanks for sharing this conversion. It's a goldmine! 👏😎
The most important thing I got from this interview is that one of the biggest creators is still a human and that makes me feel great about the future of this industry.
I’m glad Jimmy appreciates the questions Lex brings as much as we do. I can’t wait for years of lex and MrBeast videos and how they make each other better. True meeting of the masters.
So this interviewer Lex is the literal GOAT. Bro gets 1 hour of sleep, tags along with the top RUclips creator of all time for an entire day after screwing up his flights. Puts in 2:12:29 of time with Mr. Beast and asks the most epic question I've heard on a podcast: "What role, Jimmy does love play in the human condition?" which caused Jimmy to smile and take a minute to answer. Love this in-depth podcast and will be watching all 350 others next. 🥁😎🥁
I think they could've gone more in-depth on the analytics stuff. It might have caused some people to lose interest, but the point of this channel for me has always been to explore the depths of a particular person's expertise, because that's what makes the person special.
@@mikeruusan There's a difference between Mr. Beast talking about it, and Lex and Mr. Beast talking about it. As well, many people here don't watch Mr. Beast (or want to, no offense - I think he's quite obviously great at what he does, just not my cup of tea) and so this is the first we are hearing it.
@@anotheratreyu742 ah. I don't watch Mr. Beast too. But he went on a podcast spree last year (i think). A lot of podcasts that i've been listening to featured him. He's an interesting guy tho.
@@mikeruusan That's fair, and yes he does seem interesting as a person. I've watched a handful of his videos as he's hard to avoid online and things like the Squid Game video get so much attention - but I would consider myself a fan of his philanthropy and unique intelligence before a fan of his content.
Mr beast talking about cloning and teaching people to think like him is exactly what it's like to be a good parent. Lead by example and don't hide how you think through things.
I love how Lex will start talking about something and know his audience will catch on while Mr.Beast will pause his response and explain the context of what's being talked about. So cool to see the different characters come through.
Hmmm i have my doubts but not about them, abput the humanity generally speaking abd ehat we came to apreciate, it seems that money is absolutly everyhing...theres nothibg and nobody more important than money and dont even try to tell me otherwise... "Money is power" ok i got it as a concept and its true but the ideea is pushed to a level where nothing in the middle matters ...youre kinda thought as a young men that you should do ehatever it takes to make millions! Be tricky, fake it dosnt matter if you end up with aome millions and some bitches that are going to fallow you wherever you are...its kinds of disgusting to say the least! Sadly none of his guests are MrBeast is an industry implant. Dont fall for this piece of trash. He was born into this. He is part of the agenda. He is made to make you believe stuff like squid game was a good thing and throwing money around like „do what thou wilt“ by aleister crowley. How can people not see this. You live in a beast system what more do i need to say…
I like Lex. Except if I watch ten videos in a row, it’s gets formulaic and annoying. Everyone though. I just don’t know if watching a guy making tons of money and saying things, actually makes them as authentic as you think. Maybe Not. [not saying Lex is fake or anything, but these guys get idealized, & are generally getting rich as f_ck off making you think they’re something they’re not] mr. Beast isn’t even THAT annoying personally, but the whole thing, it seems bad for the species. I’m waiting to pick up someone so I’m bored. And my channel is better lol.
This is my first time listening to this podcast, and I'm just absolutely impressed by Lex's ability to coherently form the most thought-provoking statements, all while running on a single hour of sleep.
Especially compared to mainstream, elites studying for years how to do it, and they are so incompetent, biased and subjective...No wonder old media is dying...too corrupt, too greedy.
Mr Beast is a master at his craft. I’ve never been a regular viewer of his (mainly bc I’m never recommended that type of content). But the weird thing is every single time I’ve clicked on one of his videos, I’ve literally watched every single second of it even though its not really the kind of videos I like to watch. He’s an absolute genius when it comes to viewer retention
He'll be super-rich his entire life, but every pore of him screams that he doesn't care except that it allows him to create content. He's a totally unbalanced person, and we love him for it. He's not curing cancer, but he does help brighten up the lives of so many.
I'm a college freshman who's into Lex's podcasts, programming and AI but also love watching Mr Beast videos. I think many of the younger Lex viewers are extremely excited for this collaboration.
Mom demographic here…. representing a demographic who watches you both regularly. A mom making dinner, trying to raise two smart and imaginative boys, encompassed by a cool husband.. all these boys have a RUclips obsession. I like to think of myself as the outside RUclips and podcast garbage detector. Maybe there are moments I roll my eyes…. But mostly I feel and appreciate a person who loves to learn, challenge, innovate, seek truth, find mastery, and ultimately make people want to be better people. I shut down mindless cruelty. But gotta throw some shade- mama still shouts out ‘Mark Rober’ and ‘Smarter Everyday’. Boooom! Ouuuuchhh! Chuckling But for reals- Thanks, both of you. 🙌🏼👊🏼✌🏼.
Nailed it. The only reason I'm here is out of curiosity and to explore interesting ideas. Whether it's game theory, complexity, quantum physics, psychology, or RUclips analytics... I find it all fascinating and am thoroughly enjoying deep diving into topics/conversations that I would otherwise be unable to have myself. Meaningful conversation seems all but extinct where I am, so the vicarious mental stimulation is very much appreciated. Keep up the good work Lex.
To be honest, at the beginning of the video, I was wondering what the Mr. Beast Happy Meal guy I found out about from my then six-year-old son (before I removed RUclips Kids from his iPad) was doing on this podcast, but then later on, I realized it is to share his marketing and content creation capabilities, built upon his own self-criticism and drive for continuous learning. It was a good video.
👍 👌 I could never have articulated this well EXACTLY how I feel about Lex, Mr. Beast and this episode! You are my long lost twin brotha form anotha motha! 😆 we have the same type of curiosity and love learning about the same types of things.... we're just a couple of lads searching for answers of this universe eh? Haha ❤️
@@HieuNguyen-ty7vw If you haven't seen any of his videos then consider yourself immensely blessed. Guy is the dictionary definition of clickbait garbage.
I'm up to 1:18:30 and just had to say, even though my interest doesn't lie in analytics, I find the process of people seeking mastery in a way that aligns to their passions and values fascinating. So Lex's fascination and curiosity around analytics is still valuable to me and retains my engagement. Hope this can be a nice datapoint for you Lex :D
Same, I think Mr beast is wrong on the analytics audience haha It's very valuable and insightful knowledge, although I might never make a single RUclips video in my life haha
@@Lauros_World I think that's because he doesn't realize how much analytics has become part of every profession. It's not a knock on him or anything - why would he know since this has been his passion/career since he was young. I just don't think he realizes that almost every field has data analytics now, so the RUclips analytics discussion is interesting, even if we never plan to become content creators.
This is so funny as I stopped the video exactly 10 seconds after your time stamp to read comments not even sure why and saw you comment! Great video, imagine having Jimmy (Mr Beast) coaching you on your RUclips channel. This is the closest in likely to get with ask the podcasts. So valuable and this one is great as it’s from a unique angle
48. Never cracked RUclips content creation. Never watched a MrBeast video. Assumed he was like PewdiePie. Figured the content wasn't for me. Based on this video, watched one of his videos. Then another. Then another. This guy makes very solid content. Like, not downplaying it and calling it 'RUclips good'. Respect on his ability to make engaging content by minute and as a complete narrative. I wish I had it as together as he does at his age. I'll be subscribing. Best on his success. Great interview, Lex. Thanks for sharing.
@My achilles heel we all understand his videos are repetitive and targeted towards younger audiences. But his knowledge is ahead of the game compared to anyone on the platform. His success proves this.
@@bramvandinteren I don't know, personally that "gotta get the most controversial person" mentality is self destructive. Sure, it gets clicks, but it's the most basic "what's he going to say next" drama farm type clicks.
I've never watched Beast, but Lex is very similar to him actually. Both fundamentally care more about their content than, AFAI can tell, anything else in their lives.
What's funny is that Lex has actually became a lot less analytical and robotic over the years since MIT days, I would say its the honest curiosity that result in good conversations
@@yermumzagaymuggle8369 when sat infront of a camera, it's most likely natural for him at this point to bring the audience in with him. If you actually watched the podcast you would understand that.
Yea - I love the analytics and exploration. Lex is 100%. I listen because I'm curious about a broad range of topics. Love the deep dive in areas I know nothing about.
I'm with you. I love what he does but not drawn to his content style as much as the masses. I could listen to him real talk for hours though, well said.
Love how Jimmy keeps questioning Lex's pursuit of curiosity to wherever it leads and how he's trained his brain to always have an audience-centric mindset.
It feels like yesterday when I was watching this kid cook a small microwave oven in a bigger microwave oven and now he’s a business mogul. I’m so proud of what he’s accomplished.

Never really wanted to make a RUclips channel but found all the analytics talk super interesting. Lex nailed it when saying he follows curiosity. Also listened on Spotify while at work and wanted to chime in on the comments. Thanks for all the amazing podcast!! ✌️
01:17:24 Laughed out loud after taking a break from the discussion and returning to this. I enjoy Lex’s level of intrigue and inquisitive style to gather information, so I am back minutes later.
I’m not a youtuber, not interested in analytics but I could listen to you two talking about it for hours. I just like listening to passionate, intelligent people.
This podcast is so interesting to listen to. Lex, you are an amazing interviewer. I myself like to engage people in deep conversations, since it's only then that I can see their personality. Also, this allows me to better understand myself. I hope it does the same for you - I could not wish for a better person to do this! Much love from Europe!
Well, he is running a business… where smart decisions are frequently “not nice”. So far, I’ve not seen 1 second of video to support the fact that he’s not really nice, though it wouldn’t surprise me either.
The outro of "wait, you don't want to play board games with me" was such a hilariously genuine moment that really made Jimmy seem so sincere and nice!! Great pod as always
Jimmy has a remarkable talent for squeezing every unnecessary second out of his videos, and thus glueing his audience to the screen. I’m in my 30’s and find the editing style quite frantic and headache inducing, so it’s not for me, but I can definitely see how effective he is
Agree. I’ve tried to watch Mr. Beast videos but I just can’t. Interesting to hear him talk so much about the titles and thumbnails but those are the things I found turn me off from watching. 😂 It just feels like clickbait to me and when I have tried to watch I find myself thinking “um, but why?” and I stop watching. Amazing success he’s reached though at such a young age.
@@kc910 likewise. I've never had a friend say they watch Mr Beasts videos. Starting to think that his audience must be incredibly young... They're very vapid.
I don't begrudge him his success, he has done a couple of cool things. Like the PewDiePie and Squid Game stuff, but yea a lot of his views are just because he is spoonfed to people on the front page
I dislike the fact that he makes RUclips Videos/ Ideas that are just about making RUclips Videos. I personally like Videos on RUclips that are one of a kind or unique in some way. Not just the same formula over and over. It's clearly watch by a very large group of young children, and he's taking advantage of that 100%. Be a little different if he came out and said I know my audience is all children and that's why I make the video the way I do, but instead he says other people don't make as entertaining videos as himself/ he's just better at it and that's why he gets more view. No dude people come to RUclips for different Unique things, not brainless clickbait. I'd say tons of other users make way better vids than he does.
i came into this thinking i wouldn’t watch much of it but i’m hooked. this guy has an interesting presence and as always lex is perfect to be the interviewer
This guy has Zuckerberg levels of anti charisma.... Which is why he can only make content for children under 10 lol If you put him in a room with other adult men no one is listening to him
@Jon Harris everyone I know with the misfortune of having a child who is a Mr Beast fan looks ALARMINGLY low testosterone and like the probably collected bugs or coins or stamps
I love that at around 1:06:00 Lex admits that he really doesn't look at his analytics. He has 2.54M people and doesn't really know that a huge number of people watch his content. The man is humble to his core, and honestly he needs to get more confidence in the content he puts out. Lex, if you read this comment, please understand that your work is exceptional. Keep on doing what you're doing!
Reality: when you spend most of your time creating multiple income streams, you won’t know what makes what because it doesn’t matter when you’re at a certain level of success. Example: I live off passive income, I don’t know how much each things makes for me. I don’t care because it wastes my time looking into it when I’m already living an amazing life. Go hard!
Ive always wondered how that first conversation went between Mr Beast and his family when he got his first substantial pay cheque from RUclips and he said, " I'm not saving any of this, I'm gonna spend all of it on my next video." That is probably the biggest risk to take in the RUclips world, and the biggest reason for his success. I know he got to a point where he was investing in other places, but those first bunch of videos would have consumed the majority of his money. That's having real faith in his vision. Also, in nearly all other career it tends to be frowned upon to openly discuss how much money you make, but Jimmy realised very early on how sharing his income and outgoings is one of the best ways he's promoted his channel. Hearing how much he made and how much his next video was going to cost probably encouraged many people to subscribe and look forward to the next video. Mr Beast and a lot in that generation repeatedly prove and remind all us older folk that the world has rapidly evolved and a lot of what applied 10years ago does not apply today.
And the best part is, at any time he could quit and live off the tail end of the video profits plus all the collective ad revenue from all the other sources and previous vids.. Therefore there's no need to keep any money right now, keep rolling it over on bigger and better videos!. its all gravy baby. Can't wait to watch him grow.
@Lucasworthmaster it's cool to see other influential people like Elon musk, andrew Schulz, and even the execs of RUclips, telling Mr beast that he's one of the best at creating RUclips content, and they even ask him for advice and tips on how to do it. I bet those compliments are massive boost for him to keep doing what he's doing and putting the work in. It's just cool to see someone who I would have got on with if I was at school with him, being so successful in life. I've got Crohn's disease like Mr beast, and got it when I was 13 at school. It caused me to close a few doors, and think I wasn't capable of doing certain things in life. He's shown me I was wrong to think like that. I wish him all the best
@@JuicyJam Just because he isn’t the one doing those things doesn’t mean he doesn’t know how to do them. He’s still very knowledgeable in pretty much every aspect of content creation. His mind can be like a tv writers room/directors studio in one even if he isn’t necessarily the one in the room/studio. Now that he has 100M+ subs, obviously he’s going to have a team behind him. I’m sure at one point or another he was the guy in the studio.
What a nice young man. He looked after his mom and helped her out with her retirement, she must be very proud of her boy. Hopefully he works hard at his company and becomes successful and receives lots of love from his mom❤
I hope you’re joking about being successful 😂. He’s the Joe Rogan of RUclips. But by the time he’s joes age he’ll be worth we’ll over 1B. He’ll be the first you tube billionaire for sure

Lex, you are a very talented interviewer. Your use of language, flow, redirect, charisma and curiosity, make listening to your conversations with fascinating people such a pleasure. Brings me back again and again. It also probably makes me stick around to hear about people I otherwise wouldn't have an interest in.
Lex, your growth as an interviewer is unprecedented. No other podcaster has had this level of growth. Your philosophical thought experiment of what we would like to say in a video in acknowledgement that someday we will die is something I will likely remember forever. Thanks.
I dont even watch his content but listened to this interview in full and the JRE one. Mr beast is such an endearing guy and an awesome human. this conversation was a blast. like others described, the dynamic between you guys is incredible. and lex, you know your audience very well :)
Lexs ability to find the humanity behind the caricature of people is second to none. Perfectly characterised in this video by Mr. Beasts assertion that we the viewers are bored of hearing him talk about analytics and numbers and optimisation, when actually lex manages to find the human qualities that motivate that mindset and thereby humanising and endearing both interviewee and interviewer. Lex, you have the Best. Podcast. Ever
my favorite part of these podcasts is that they're so interesting once you zoom in on them and really listen to what lex and mr beast are saying, but there are points in the convo where its like "alright, ima just head out, we're about to move to another point now" where you don't feel like you're really missing anything if you were to stop watching right there and then
love how he doesn't see his channel as just by himself but it's a company with people that are working with him. That's how you know he cares a lot about the people that work with him
As an aspiring content creator, it is so interesting listening to almost anything Mr. Beast has to say. It's almost like being mentored by THE top creator of our time. Everything he says seems to be insightful and directed. This is also my introduction to Lex and this channel, and I will definitely be back - already eyeing up some of the chess icon videos. Great video.
great comment, so a lot of times like joe Rogan pods, the podcast gives the guest views sales idea and so on. Mr. beast is one of those exceptions where he will grow the creators channel just by having him on there. that's actually how i found Lex with a elon interview. i did not like him at first either cause the robot like conversation but i have became quite fawn of lex and his ways and ideals. i think mt beast might gain some of the viewers from Lex as well but i dont think there equivalent. over all i agree stull like this introduces use to new content providers outside of cable. like now i even now know you have a channel i can watch and will watch.!!!! if i made that sounds confusing well SORRY !!! lmfao
@@incredible5587 I appreciate that. Yes, definitely. I think it is really good for podcast platforms to have varying individuals on as guests as it allows differences in points of view to be discussed. I imagine that Lex's audience is quite different from Mr. Beast's too but that is what makes it interesting. Collaboration is definitely the way forward though!
@1:17:20 Yes! We want the analytics. Gives a fascinating insight into the thinking. I actually really wanted the answer to that question lol Also didn’t this podcast start of as “The AI podcast?” So I’d be willing to bet a disproportionate amount of the audience would care about analytics!
I'm excited thinking about how this could influence ( in a good way ) Mr. beast followers .. and vice versa .. 2 different Creators .. way different. In a good way
It baffles me ppl don’t see the issue with the content and success of the content when it is mindless trash designed to keep mostly children engaged for as long as possible. There is a major problem in the world rn with content addiction and this interview does absolutely nothing to address it and in fact is doing the opposite. It’s sad

Seems like a taboo subject in these interviews - while being the most obvious one. Jimmy clearly seems to be bothered that people only order fast food from his restaurants that will give them brain cancer, heart disease and diabetes on a global scale, instead buying the healthy options that they have. Seems a bit weird thing to celebrate, get excited about and to be proud of in our culture. Being the predator who hooks school children into gambling, mobile games or sugar just for the better ROI.💸
As entertaining and captivating as the videos may be, nowadays internet addiction is a very real problem affecting millions/billions of people everyday.

He's 24... my goodness. Epic advice from mr. beast! 2 of the nicest and most interesting people on RUclips! Just love both these guys!
Mr beast isn’t so nice from what I heard ex employees claim
Well, he is running a business… where smart decisions are frequently “not nice”. So far, I’ve not seen 1 second of video to support the fact that he’s not really nice, though it wouldn’t surprise me either.
The outro of "wait, you don't want to play board games with me" was such a hilariously genuine moment that really made Jimmy seem so sincere and nice!! Great pod as always
It's weird they talking about what's after death. I hope they find Islam the one and only true religion. 😭
@@Elizabeth-jk4yj lol?

@@Elizabeth-jk4yj sorry.. but who asked?

Both such genuine and interesting people that deserve every success.
Another incredible interview, wow!
Maybe it’s time for Jimmy to focus less on “winning” and more on nurturing meaningful connections to people
So charitable for Lex to have these smaller RUclipsrs like Jimmy to have on his pod. Hope Jimmy’s channel blows up and gets real big.
Itʼs like reading a comment from 5 years ago.
It's so refreshing hearing Mr.Beast talking in a more serious tone all thanks to the great questions formulated by Lex :)
Did he yell at Lex and throw around sponsor money?
He’s got a deadman’s upload schedule? Talk about dedication
i came into this thinking i wouldn’t watch much of it but i’m hooked. this guy has an interesting presence and as always lex is perfect to be the interviewer
This guy has Zuckerberg levels of anti charisma.... Which is why he can only make content for children under 10 lol
If you put him in a room with other adult men no one is listening to him
I had the same exact thought! I didn't imagine these two connecting so well, because they are so different. Hooked as well
@@jonnyh1917 How old are you are you the oldest Mr. Beast fan at like 15?
@@nly4607 I'm the oldest Mr. Beast fan in your mom's house.
Lex content just holds space for every other content online
Reality: when you spend most of your time creating multiple income streams, you won’t know what makes what because it doesn’t matter when you’re at a certain level of success.
Example: I live off passive income, I don’t know how much each things makes for me. I don’t care because it wastes my time looking into it when I’m already living an amazing life.
Go hard!
Totally agree with this!
@@breakfree1949 what does that have to do with the comment above
Seems odd, IMHO.
All videos leads to Lex Fridman
Wonder why 🥸
Beast is purely obsessed with the RUclips game and Lex is purely obsessed with understanding the human mind. This is insanely epic.
MrBeast is like an entire TV writers room/editors studio in one person
Even tho he relies on a crew of people to make his videos?
@@JuicyJam yes, those people are the videographers, lighting technicians, etc.
@@KarmaticEvolution so Mr beast isn't reeaaally like the entire tv writers room/directors studio...if he literally has a crew doing that 😅
@@JuicyJam touché

Mr. Beast is youtube's golden child.
You engage your guest and bring out great conversation. After a long day at work it is nice to hear people just chatting and being real.
Love the extreme analytics talk!! Really appreciate asking Jimmy all the different questions!
Lex, you are a very talented interviewer. Your use of language, flow, redirect, charisma and curiosity, make listening to your conversations with fascinating people such a pleasure. Brings me back again and again. It also probably makes me stick around to hear about people I otherwise wouldn't have an interest in.
How much are you guys getting paid to essentially leave the same comment over and over again ?
31:02 Lying to Lex is your biggest L Beast.
What a madman
I love jimmy on these podcasts. Especially how open and frank and friendly he is with everyone he talks to.
He's grown entirely off his authenticity. There's not an ounce of fake in Jimmy, and if you're able to find it, he's trolling you.
This interview is awesome! This is the fourth time I've watched it.
Would you watch it again now? Lmao
I’m here for intellect in general 👍🏻 Not many creators having intellectual conversations like over here
Lexs ability to find the humanity behind the caricature of people is second to none. Podcast. Ever
What the fuck are you talking about
my favorite part of these podcasts is that they're so interesting once you zoom in on them and really listen to what lex and mr beast are saying, but there are points in the convo where its like "alright, ima just head out, we're about to move to another point now" where you don't feel like you're really missing anything if you were to stop watching right there and then
yeah i can see that
love how he doesn't see his channel as just by himself but it's a company with people that are working with him.
Congratulations and welcome to the Lex Fridman community! 💜
great comment, so a lot of times like joe Rogan pods, the podcast gives the guest views sales idea and so on. Mr. beast is one of those exceptions where he will grow the creators channel just by having him on there. that's actually how i found Lex with a elon interview. i did not like him at first either cause the robot like conversation but i have became quite fawn of lex and his ways and ideals. i think mt beast might gain some of the viewers from Lex as well but i dont think there equivalent. over all i agree stull like this introduces use to new content providers outside of cable. like now i even now know you have a channel i can watch and will watch.!!!! if i made that sounds confusing well SORRY !!!
Yeah he’s our Tony robbins
@@incredible5587 lol fawn. I am fond of lex as well
@1:17:20 Yes! We want the analytics. Gives a fascinating insight into the thinking. I actually really wanted the answer to that question lol
Also didn’t this podcast start of as “The AI podcast?” So I’d be willing to bet a disproportionate amount of the audience would care about analytics!
It’s sad
did mrbeast ever teach about analytics before?
I love seeing these two guys with massively different approaches to youtube interact.
