Do you have a readily available downloadable excel format for this? May I have a copy. Badly need this for my studies for statistical treatment of my test. thanks a lot. This video was really helpful.
Hi, I would like to ask how to check the reliability of my pre and post test ? My pre and post test is researcher's made test as well as its parallel form.
Hi, here is a link for equivalent form or parallel form reliability test. ruclips.net/video/C-gXzawarKw/видео.html Normally, tests which are used for research purposes are standardized. It has already passed the validity and reliability test. But it if is a teacher made test, it has to undergo validity and reliability test. For reliability test, I would suggest to test it first using KR20 (test with varying difficulty) or KR21 (test with same difficulty) to a group of initial respondents. Get the result and conduct the KUDER-RICHARDSON Reliability test. (ruclips.net/video/FuBRfWzyaZo/видео.html). Once it has passed the reliability test, you may now use it for pre and post test. You may also conduct the item analysis after conducting the reliability test to improve your teacher made test. (ruclips.net/video/IotEdU_yrEY/видео.html). I am not sure if I answered your question enough but my emphasis is that before using your teacher made test to gather data in your research, make sure that is has already passed the validity and reliability test.
Hi. If your are measuring the internal consistency of your questionnaire, better use Cronbach's Alpha for your dichotomous and Likert scale measures. Cronbach's Alpha is the extension of KR20 and would yield similar result for dichotomous measures. Thanks.
Hi, there are 15 respondents in this example and they took the test twice at a different time interval. x-values are their scores from the first administration of the test and y-values are their scores from the (retest) second administration of the test.
@@glentox1563 Sir what if there are no points in the choices of the questionnaires ? how can I determine that a student is supposed to be 15 in the 1st test and then 20 in the retest? because our choices on our questionnaires are words so what should we do sir?
How did you come up with x and y scores, sir? I'm using google form and we did not put scores in each question since its their preference. like age, income, etc.
Hi, thanks for asking. This is sample for the reliability test of a teacher made test. If you are looking for a reliability test of a survey questionnaire, then i recommend this video of cronbach's alpha: ruclips.net/video/wjpLQArRLuA/видео.html . The survey on age, income and other demographic profile does not need to undergo reliability test.
@@glentox1563 oh is that so. Thank you sir Glen. How about if there's a multiple questions? How can I measure them? Like "How many times have you visited nasugbu?" Once Twice Thrice More than Thrice
@@villarealkrishna4652 The sample question you have provided is the same as a profile question. There is no key answer and therefore cannot be checked if it is is right or wrong. So no result can be gathered for reliability test.
Hi, thanks for asking. For Likert scale survey questions, please use Cronbach's alpha reliability test. Ito po samples: ruclips.net/video/H8Tlxu9XvEE/видео.html ruclips.net/video/wjpLQArRLuA/видео.html
Hi, thanks for asking. The scores of the "Test" have to be recorded. Then let the same respondents take it again after some time - "Retest". Then record the result of the retest.
Hi, thank you for checking out this video. This was a simple lecture of manual computation for reliability test using test-retest intended for my Teacher Education students. Using SPSS would be a lot easier and would require the assistance of a Statistician.
Thank you. It helps me a lot.

Very helpful!subscribed.
Thank you!
Sir could I ask? How can I measure the reliability of my questionnaire if it is a checklist? What Reliability tool could I use?
Hi, If you are using Likert Scale checklist, you may need to use Cronbach's Alpha. Here is an example: ruclips.net/video/wjpLQArRLuA/видео.html

Is it possible to use the test retest reliability for questionnaire with both likert scale and nominal items ? Thanks
