    Sir could I ask? How can I measure the reliability of my questionnaire if it is a checklist? What Reliability tool could I use?

    • @glentox1563
      @glentox1563  3 года назад

      Hi, If you are using Likert Scale checklist, you may need to use Cronbach's Alpha. Here is an example: ruclips.net/video/wjpLQArRLuA/видео.html

    Hi, I would like to ask how to check the reliability of my pre and post test ? My pre and post test is researcher's made test as well as its parallel form.

    • @glentox1563
      @glentox1563  3 года назад

      Hi, here is a link for equivalent form or parallel form reliability test. ruclips.net/video/C-gXzawarKw/видео.html
      Normally, tests which are used for research purposes are standardized. It has already passed the validity and reliability test. But it if is a teacher made test, it has to undergo validity and reliability test. For reliability test, I would suggest to test it first using KR20 (test with varying difficulty) or KR21 (test with same difficulty) to a group of initial respondents. Get the result and conduct the KUDER-RICHARDSON Reliability test. (ruclips.net/video/FuBRfWzyaZo/видео.html). Once it has passed the reliability test, you may now use it for pre and post test.
      You may also conduct the item analysis after conducting the reliability test to improve your teacher made test. (ruclips.net/video/IotEdU_yrEY/видео.html).
      I am not sure if I answered your question enough but my emphasis is that before using your teacher made test to gather data in your research, make sure that is has already passed the validity and reliability test.

    Is it possible to use the test retest reliability for questionnaire with both likert scale and nominal items ? Thanks

    • @glentox1563
      @glentox1563  3 года назад

      Hi. If your are measuring the internal consistency of your questionnaire, better use Cronbach's Alpha for your dichotomous and Likert scale measures. Cronbach's Alpha is the extension of KR20 and would yield similar result for dichotomous measures. Thanks.

    • @glentox1563

      Hi, there are 15 respondents in this example and they took the test twice at a different time interval. x-values are their scores from the first administration of the test and y-values are their scores from the (retest) second administration of the test.

    • @glentox1563

      Hi, thanks for asking. This is sample for the reliability test of a teacher made test. If you are looking for a reliability test of a survey questionnaire, then i recommend this video of cronbach's alpha: ruclips.net/video/wjpLQArRLuA/видео.html . The survey on age, income and other demographic profile does not need to undergo reliability test.

      @@villarealkrishna4652 The sample question you have provided is the same as a profile question. There is no key answer and therefore cannot be checked if it is is right or wrong. So no result can be gathered for reliability test.
