Hi! I picked up a Janome 2206 sewing machine, but it didn't have any presser feet with it. Does it use low shank snap on feet? If so, does it need brand specific feet? Thanks for the help!
@@sarahallen6328 I like the Janome 344. It will do just about all you will need for it to do: shirts, blouses, pillowcases, pajamas, and quilts. Don’t try to make it sew denim jean hems or heavy leather. Otherwise, it will be a good one.
@@randyyoursewingmachineman9954 thanks for your reply!!! Would you recommend it more than the White model? I would like to try my hand at pants, or some heavier fabrics
@@ronalddevine9587 that’s blasphemy in certain circles, but i get what you’re saying. It probably has an easier learning curve than a featherweight, so there’s that.
I learned more about sewing in those 5 minutes than I knew before. Sounds like a great machine for travel sewing. Thanks
@@MRrwmac indeed it is. 😎👍🏼
Thanks for no fuss demo once again. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@@cathyserafinowicz6374 you’re welcome 😎😎
Is this a customer machine? A machine you're selling?
@@BluSkyeHost its a customer’s machine.
I see them for sale online if you need one. 😎👍🏼

@@deborahpead4060 do a search for Janome 2206 presser feet and attachments.
Numerous sellers will show up with options for all feet.
Thank you! I'll do that.
What about a janome 344 limited edition?? There’s one available near me, I just don’t want to waste my money. Or a White model 1409??

@@sarahallen6328 I believe the 1409 has steel drive gears, but it’s probably about the same capability as the Janome all around.
@@randyyoursewingmachineman9954 ok! Thanks!!!
So who needs the Featherweight?
