Today I was repainting my statue of Athena, and as I was doing it, I was feeling to much connection like she is a mother figure, I felt almost love for her and wanting help. And now some hours later this video pops up, and starts with a prayer to her. I do not know if this is a mere coincidence or not but it was awesome.
Man, am I glad I got a norse magic and beliefs notification for a year old video on chakras. Saw a comment in there about this channel being started and immediately came here and found the exact information I've been desperate for. I've been non-practicing for years and have been trying to find some good, straightforward information on the ritual side of prayer. Im very grateful for this video, so thank you! subscribed, bell rung, about to binge.
Lovely to hear this has helped you! That's why this whole initiative was started - to help people find their way back to their true nature. When you've listened to all the episodes (either here or as podcast) you're welcome to join our Discord community with likeminded, since you seem sincere in your wish to grow.
Great to hear that! Thanks for commenting. New episode of the podcast up today (on sacred space). It'll show up here on YT soon too, if you don't wanna listen in a podcast player.
@@hamingjafoundation Beautiful! As a Gothi for my kindred, I have made great effort to teach my folk the concept of 'filling in the blanks', within Norse paganism, by looking broader and into the PIE family of languages and traditions, to perhaps find answers which are not directly given to us via the Sagas and the Eddas. Thank you again, for your energy and for putting these ideas back out into the ether for those of us wanting to connect deeper with our ancestors and spiritual lineage that exists on this ancestral path.
@@IAmBolverk I'd say that it's a must to look to the Indo-European spirituality per se, not the least our oldest ancestors the PIE, to understand our own 'branches' of paganism. So that's excellent that you do that. Your kindred will benefit a lot from that. You're very welcome to join our Discord server if you want to further deepen your understanding of these things. (The new episode is up now, at least in podcast format.)
I'm confused. You said we didn't need to go to the East, and I agree, but then you mentioned the Indian tradition. Are you making comparisons to show that our traditions have similar things? Just curious. I'm very excited about this channel.
The Indo-European spirituality and all the IE branches (such as the Norse, Anglo-Saxon, Roman etc) have the same source that we scoop out of. Since so much of the western part of that was oral tradition, the best thing we can do is to look at the sources we actually have, no matter if they're in the east or the west. I'll answer better if you specify a bit more.
@@hamingjafoundation Yes, that's true. The Indians were originally Indo-European. I had forgotten that. And I also love correlations between all traditions. It's all very inspiring.

How wonderful! Few things are a coincidence in the structured cosmos. Thanks for sharing with us!

pagans don't pray. Ask, chat, request maybe. But not pray. Norse Gods are not supernatural. They are not omnipotent. They can't grant wishes.
We recommend you read the Odyssey, the Iliad or any of the ancient European literature and dramas. They're full of prayer.
