- In May 2022 Australian watercolour artist, Herman Pekel, taught a painting workshop based in Fife, Scotland. Herman is returning on May 21st 2023 to do another one because he loved the area so much. It's one of the most picturesque parts of Scotland with beautiful little fishing villages and has been used for filming the Outlander series.
I captured both still photos and video of Herman in action and I do hope you enjoy what I've produced here.
My first ever RUclips video in fact.
Herman's May 2023 Workshop details can be found on my website

Such a privilege to watch him paint...wish he made videos :)
Herman is a man that is truly passionate about his painting. More importantly he has fun and shows excitement about his work. What a marvelous way to enjoy life and pass on what he knows with others. God bless you Herman.
So true Charles, we are looking forward to his workshop this May here in Scotland.
The best thing about Herman is the freedom in which he paints. What results is a beautiful painting not an exact representation of what he is viewing.
Master Herman Pekel... very nice in capturing different approach in water color painting.. every stroke are a masterpiece.
