Quick tips... On my 04 I took the tire off. First the electric. lift tab, slide out. On the connector under the electric it's oval shaped like an egg. Squeeze the points together(squishy) mine was top and bottom, and the sides will pop out and unhook. I squeezed mine with needle-nose pliers and it still wasn't coming off after squeezing it I used the screwdriver to carefully pry It off. Now Stick a thin screwdriver between the valve and the metal bracket there's a clip in the back center and bend the clip upward in the middle, pushing the screwdriver downward. The valve should then slide off the bracket. carefully twist the whole valve with the second connector still connected so that you can get to the tab to remove the second connector, it's currently in the back when you turn it it will be on the side. the little nub goes down and around like a moon shaped but first you have to pull the little tab outword a little bit and then down and around. I found a similar connector on the top of the engine to practice on. before mounting back on the metal bracket bend the clip back down so it clicks onto the plastic housing when you slide it on. Hope this helps.
Thanks!! I just did it from the top in about 20 minutes and I'm no mechanic at all! Hints: the black plug has a tab compress that and pull off, white plug push the flat side in and it pulls off. Ez pz!
Did mine from the top. Just had to take the 4 nuts/bolts from the computer out and remove the brake booster line. 10mm bolt holds the bracket to the block.
I found it very difficult getting to the part, good job GM. Had to remove drivers side wheel, removed a few pipes and the battery plus the ECM 10mm socket with a few extensions.
Julie Reiger you should be able to get to it from the hood like we did here in this video a real simple fix like and subscribe for more content coming soon
Marshall Fox it just snaps on and off if u can't get it by hand use a flathead to pry or needle nose pliers work as well we didnt use anything special the only things we used were a ratchet and a flat head and needle nose pliers
I replaced this part , & now my engine is shaky and brought up another code p0300 , which it wasn’t reading at all , now I just feel like putting the old one back because my engine won’t even run as much as it did. (Loss power). Anyone had the same issue ? 😕
Hate to break it to you but you are not working on a 2008. How many trips to the auto parts store before you got the right part. The 2008 is square and just in front of the differential

How did the hose with the milky white colored coupling come off? The video didn't cover that and I'm stumped...

What Cold War was you getting and what is the part number for the part at AutoZone

Dude, this is like watching paint dry! just install any device on brackets first then plug in all connectors.

Why don't you guys watch your video on RUclips on how to change it. And then you can put a video on RUclips on how to change it.
Had to disconnect the battery right ?
I found it easier to get it through the drivers side wheel arch with a few extensions 10mm socket.
If the auto mechanics don’t work out, there’s always barber college
Take the screw out much-easier
TAKE THE BOLT OUT! PUT THE TAB ON OFF THE CAR ,
Thats not a 2008 Trailblazer!!!!
