yeah uh I've seen 1 galarian articuno since the shiny released and it just instantly ran.. they should slightly boost the odds for spawning cause i've been using 2-3 hour incense every day with no results.
15 minute incense extended to 12 hours is 50 fkcin days without any extensions...that seems about as many days as the shiny galarian birds have been available.... still haven't even seen a shiny
@THEDEVIL_VENOM you NEED to use the Daily incense in different areas, monitor what you find and take notes. There's 3 spots in the one town I play in that spawn a galarian bird, one of those spots will spawn things like staraptor, machamp, gabite etc. There are direct spawn points for the birds, and those spawn points are not noted by the game, it's up to you to find and note them. Until you find a bird, do not use the incense in the same area...then, when you find one, every day, you walk that same route you walked when you found it. Might take a day, a week or a month, you WILL find it

Since Daily Incense became available 2 years ago, I found around 20-30 birds, and couldn't catch any of them (either they would shake 2 times or escape on the 1st throw, and this year I barely saw any Galarian birds until the 7th of November this year, on my way to college, and not only found a Galarian Moltres, but also a SHINY one, which in fact is my favorite one from this trio. Fingers crossed I catch the other ones to complete the collection.
I appreciate that this gives a more realistic showing of how hard getting the shiny birds really is. If he didn’t use roar of time and got it in the time it took him to find it would have taken him over a month. This is the time and investment people are putting in to get them when you see those posts celebrating getting one or all of the shiny Galarian Birds.

Think its been over 3 months and a few days ago I FINALLY caught a shiny Articuno(!!!). I will confirm that indeed they spawn far more often during routes.

My luck is crazy, I had a few months without a galarian bird and then a week ago my first galarian bird in this update was a shiny (and it was moltres which I already had 2 non shiny galarian moltres)

I dont know the odds exactly, but there was last halloween event where shiny galarian birds were not able to flee, unless you didnt had anymore balls probably but i somehow instantly got a shiny galarian zapdos last halloween event, it spawned as 3144 cp and good 2 star IV’s for battling 7-14-14 or so
Been using daily adventure incense everyday for around 10 months now. I walk fast to keep spawns coming but still never even encountered a galarian bird. 😢
if I ever find a shiny galarian moltress or articuno, I'm using one of my 2 masterballs to catch it. I've seen way to many people who have lost their shinies after having the game crash after it broke out of 200+ ultraballs. if its a shiny galarian zapdos I'll risk the game crashing cause i hate it 😭
@diegoabreu4343 yeah I know. Just because they can't flee doesn't mean game doesn't crash. Someone used 500 ultra balls on one and it broke out every time, and then game crashed and when they reopened their game, it had despawned. I'm not taking that chance

Since the shiny came out I have used daily incense pretty much every day and used roar to do an hour+ when I’m not exhausted And I have yet to even see a g bird spawn
I caught a shiny zapdos just a few minutes ago and guess what the Pokemon didn't fled for 3 minutes straight (made more than 10 attempts in a row)was able to catch it in the end
I was in my poke Dex when I close out galarian zapdos spawn before I had a chance to tap it despawn on me and it was the only bird I did not have the crazy part I was not moving when it happen.
i saw my first galarian articuno and i didnt catch it it ran after 1 ball 1 week later i found it again but shiny and i used a master ball not losing that lol

I went from 750 in storage to 550 trying to catch a shiny galarian articuno, it ate all my greats, ultras AND golden razzes. Just cuz it can’t flee doesn’t mean it’s a guaranteed catch
