- In today's gaming challenge video, I tried to see if you could beat Resident Evil 2 with only Leon's shotgun. After my many experiences with the Resident Evil franchise, I can safely say this challenge wasn't as hard as it should've been, except for one part that involves Birkin. Resident Evil 2 is a game about two characters named Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Leon is just there to help out his fellow police officers fight off the horde of zombies, and Claire is there to find her brother Chris Redfield.

Hello friends, my name is Dante and I’d like to welcome you to another sexy Resident Evil 2 video. Holy heck it’s been a while hasn’t it? The last gaming challenge video I did on Resident Evil 2 was… let me see here… TWO MONTHS AGO? Oh my god, that hurts. Well, I’m happy to say that I’ll be making tons of Resident Evil challenge videos from now on, so get excited for that boys. If you like the Resident Evil series, subscribe to my channel because I make new Resident Evil gaming challenge videos every week.
But enough of that, let’s jump right into it. So the challenge I decided to tackle today was “Can you beat Resident Evil 2 with only the shotgun”. Unfortunately, only Leon gets to use the shotgun, so we don’t get to see Claire’s damn fine body. I know I know, that’s almost a reason to unsubscribe, but don’t do it guys, you’ll get to see Claire in the next Resident Evil 2 challenge video I make. I did choose normal difficulty for this challenge and I’ll let you know later whether or not I think this challenge is possible on hardcore difficulty.
So we’ve got a few areas to mention along the way. We’ve got Raccoon City and the whole RPD before getting the shotgun, the first boss fight with Birkin (spoiler, this is the hardest boss fight in the challenge and stick around to see why), the sewers and what I did to yeet myself around the undead, the second Birkin boss battle at the crane, how I got around the Ivys in the lab, and the final two fights with Birkin and that bald stud. Seeing that forehead just makes me want to tuck him into bed and kiss him goodnight. Oh yeah, and I did this challenge on PS4. Does… does that even matter?
Ok so getting into the challenge- WOAH WOAH WAIT, slow down there guys don’t get too excited just yet. We have to quickly go over the rules. You rascally scoundrels. Alrighty, so anything goes as long as I only use my shotgun to damage and or kill an enemy. So what am I allowed to do? I’m allowed to upgrade my shotgun, I’m allowed to use healing items, and I’m allowed to use my shotgun however I want, whenever I want. What am I NOT allowed to do? I’m not allowed to use any weapon other than the shotgun. This means no handgun, no lightning hawk, no grenades, no flashbangs, no knives, etc. Basically if an Ivy grabs me I’m screwed. I’m also not allowed to switch the difficulty if the challenge gets too hard. I’m not a child. I’m a frigging MAN. And I can’t use any other weapon to damage or stun enemies. So even though the handgun wouldn’t kill an Ivy if I shot it a few times, I’m still not allowed to use it.
Oke oke, so we start this night off like any other normal night-JESUS CHRIST IT’S A ZOMBIE! At this point we don’t have a shotgun, so instead of upholding the law we’re just going to leave the scene of a crime. Bye bye zombie!
And now we arrive at the RPD and just like that, Leon’s mission is complete. Little does he know though, his journey is just getting started. So alright cool, we’re in the RPD and we can now get the shotgun. There’s only one problem… the shotgun is locked behind a glass case and the only way to get it is to traverse about half of the RPD defenseless. Me neither Leon. Me neither. So I used my epic gamer skills to dodge zombies like a boss, and I definitely DID NOT take ten minutes to open the portable safe.

Someone needs to petition for all the weapons be added to the campaign stories once fully complete that would include hunks Mup pistol, Tmp for Leon, shotgun for Claire and really would like the Pistol you find in police car to have a burst mode considering its model and clip size

That's not challenging or fun. The game definitely is difficult but I never changed the difficulty.
The enemy always do a certain pattern when you fight them. Just learn it and you'll be fine.

Excited for weekly content, I got the RE bug recently and have been playing it constantly.
Doing my second walkthrough of the first run of Leon, I noticed the items you pick up are always the same. When it comes to ammo at least. The only thing that would be a random benefactor in your 17--26 shotgun shell ordeal, is the gunpowder production, which is in fact random within a set range (ie; 3-6 per craft). Hope this helped!

Saved all my shotgun ammo for the Lab because I thought the Remake had the super zombies the N64 version has. Ammo rich,health poor thats me when i play a RE game.

The first time I beat the game and got to the final tyrant fight I was unaware that you were supposed to shoot him and just dodged him for 3 minutes.

And you'd be correct on the S+ ranking. Still don't know why they do that....they should at least tell people.

@@Klausinator451 That was only true of the original, the remake you can use as many first aid sprays as you want and still get S+. Only factors are it being within an S rank time, no infinite firearms, no more than 3 saves.

Awhile ago I was collecting a shit ton of grenades on resi 4 soooo challenge yourself using only grenades to kill in resi 4.
