Thank you thank you thank you I am in uk I have been testing the golden wax 464 and it’s been pretty hard job I found about the Ecosoya wax from you and it’s the most beautiful soya wax thank you thank you you saved me ❤
I discovered a nice hack by accident. One time I lay a flat sheet bed, on the table, then I put my candles to be fill on there. They came out with no frost at all. I used Soy 464. I figured that the table is cold and the fabric helps to keep that warm temperature and that way the wax won't be shocked to be poured under a cold surface, I hope I making sense. Just put any type of fabric, should be a little bit thick, that's why I fold the bed sheet. Also for reference, could be a table runner or a fabric plate matt. Of course, that would be for glass containers, but I used it for tins too, maybe you won't get the shrink on the tins. Also lay then on fabric while storage. ❤️
I like this wax too. But my candles are sweating, and I cant seem to figure out the solution to stop the sweating. Do you have problems with this also?
This was my wax in the past. This newer CB is indeed a bit different. I like the overall look of it but have noticed sweating when burning. Not sure what that is about, as I use 10% fragrance load.
I am soooo glad this wax is coming back! I can't wait to get my hands on some more! Thank you, Ariane, for sharing your knowledge and expertise. I always enjoy your videos. And sometimes you make me giggle. ( I mean that in a good way! )
Hi, Thank you for the video. I've started using this wax and have made many trials with different wick sizes and types (wooden and cotton). My jar is 8cm diameter ~285g, I used up 6kg of wax and I still cannot get the right wick for this. Do you have a size for this size jar? I used the wood 12mm which doesn't burn to the edge and 16mm which leaves black soot on my jar. I also used the cotton HTP1312 and HTP XL100 and they both tunnel. I do not know what else to do for the wooden and cotton wicks. Could you please suggest maybe a different wick supplier which could help me with my candles. I do like the finish this wax leaves after burning but I simply cannot work the right combination. Please help!!
I have been following you from your first step in this soap world. Just love love love watching you. Watching you grow from small shop to this huge place is so wonderful. Stay blessed. Thanks for sharing 💖💕
hi! ok, so i have a ton of questions: 1. how did you manage to keep your wax at a stable temperature while poring all those candles? wax cools very fast and therefore i am completely confused at how it could have stayed warm even for that long 2. you seem to have cut your wicks really short considering the diameter of your container so i am wondering what you rely on for achieving a full melting pool 3.where did you get the wick holders? they're awesome...do they come in different sizes? thanks so much!!!
I really enjoy this wax, this will be my first time creating a candle. I've been hearing good reviews and I am finally wanting to purchase some wax and create testing. Do you recommend a particular website that I can purchase the wax for a great price.
I actually have some the old CB-135 formula left! Which temperatures would you recommend for melting, fragrance, dye and pouring? I’m making figure candles in silicone moulds. Love your videos and can’t wait to get my hands on the new formula when they’re back in stock!
Please could you tell me what brand wick you use with this wax? I am having soo much trouble finding a good wick that does not mushroom whilst achieving the correct melt pool. 1 Month into testing and still not happy with burn. xx
I spend more money on wicks than anything else! So far the HTP wicks are working the best but they are not perfect. I have some Premier wicks on the way.
Does anyone have experience in shipping this in warm/hot climate? The area I live in can get to around 90F, and I’m afraid the candles would melt during the shipping since it has such low melt point.
Hi Arianne, I used to make candles with ecosoya and loved their wax also. It was by far the best, easiest wax I have used. After trying many waxes and without success, I kinda paused my production as I was never able to find a pillar, votive wax that was as good. Do they have the pillar/votive wax and does the duration of burning is as good? Not sure if you had a chance to try it... Where do you order your wax from?
So excited this brilliant wax is coming back! Hoping it arrives in Australia soon - I'm nearly out of my stockpile of the original q210 and I don't want to use anything else but EcoSoya! It's fantastic! This video made me very happy to know that it performs as it should like the original and that it's on it's way! Soooooo excited, thanks Ariane! :)
Question from a fellow candle maker! Do you prefer your stock pot over getting a presto pot to melt your wax? I've been considering getting something larger to speed up my candle making process. Also, how do you avoid scorching your wax in your stock pot?
Where can I buy ecosoya wax in Canada ?? It looks like the only supplier is CandleScience, but they don't ship to Canada. I NEED this wax ! This is one of the most substainable wax according to my research.
For me it is worth it. I bought a large shipment and just to save me the trouble of dealing with fussy soy wax, it is worth it. Plus, I find that my end product is of higher quality ☺️ To each their research and what is best for me may not be best for someone else. It all comes down to testing, testing, testing! 🙌
@@ArianeArsenault thank you for your response! That's exactly what series I was going to use. :) They're being sold on ebay, I've read that they're going to be discontinued!?! IDK
That is a lot of info about candles that people don't really know. I know too many people that just burn a candle without practicing candle care. It's definitely not common knowledge.

Do you find the CB-Advanced works as well for glass containers as the regular CB-135.
How do you laminate your stickers after you print them from your laser printer?
Yes I was curious of that too

Candlescience also carries the Ecosoya pillar wax. It's out of stock until late April.
Do you have an issue with sweating? If so how do you resolve?

I also have a presto pot and a primo wax melter for wax. 😁
I am relieved to hear this!
What was your FO percentage? Measurements would be helpful.

There is no supplier in Canada. You have to buy bulk, direct from EcoSoya as of now

Ohhhhh, such a beautiful color!!! What a shame that you can only see the tops :(
We also make some candles in clear vessels that allow to see through 🕯💗
How does it hold up when’s it’s shipped ?
So nice of them.
Thank you.
Ariane, have you ever made candles with beeswax? I have tried different size wicks, but am not having success. Can you advise? Merci.
I have used the beeswax coco creme from @WoodenWick but never 100% beeswax
This wax ... is it available in Canada?
Which wick series works best with this was please? I’m finding many sizes are unavailable in the CD series. Ty
I’m afraid you may be disappointed by my answer... So in these specific vessels, I used HTP 105. But these wicks too are out of stock everywhere 😢

Most customer (and some new makers) don’t know a lot about candles. I always try and educate here on YT and also my in store customers 😊
Always distinct, I loved you
Is it being sold anywhere in the United States? I would love to test some
Candle Science
What is your cure time for testing fragrance
Would be nice to have this wax in Canada also it's too expensive to have supplies from the US,
Thanks Ariane.
Hardly get to see your hair down. So lovely.
Well you wouldn’t like to see my hair in a batch of soap or in a jar of lovely body butter. Which is why I usually wrap my hair up 😊
Lol. I get that. As a curly hair person I just appreciate when we have a good hair day.
But how is the HT and CT?
Since making these candles, I have experienced a lot of issues with the Eco Soya wax and have stopped using it...
Beautiful candles 😁
What cure time do you recommend for this wax?
Manufacturer states 48 hours before burn testing, hot throw keeps getting better with time. My sweet spot is between 7-10 days.
@@ArianeArsenault Awesome. I just made some testers yesterday. Beautiful wax! Thanks for the info!
Can u put glitter and candy in candles and melts?
You can use glitter and candy in melts, in candles, I am careful about adding any additives
Yes 🙌🏼

How is the hot throw with this wax?
Wow
Have you tried the cb 135
