Really nice review. I have several Sanwu lasers and one being the 470nm 5watt Silver Series, when ordering I selected multi-mode function but then emailed the company and asked for just two modes and that was: safety lock and full power (5watts). They obliged and it’s great to store the unit locked and can use the
I just ordered two striker series and did the multi operation mode. I just emailed them too to see if I could change it to single. I'm hoping it goes my way. 😢
nice, I have a 1W 520nm one that uses one 18650, is insane bright and a good burner, compared to a 532nm 100mW there really is a huge difference in every aspect, the bad thing is the battery duration, mine lasts only about 4 nights or less with constant use with a 25R 2500mAh and with TrustFire 3400mAh 6 or 5 nights. The seller also told me and added a note about the work cycle, 45 seconds on, 15 seconds off, fully recommended to avoid any overheating and damage to the diode.
@@madfury3179 with good focus you can burn a match like 2 meters away or more in few seconds, it's a good burner although I have not tested it on long distances. I will try to do a test soon. 1W lasers are dangerous, they almost never disappoint when burn.
I have seen on your channel that your 1 watt 520nm green laser is brighter than the 1.6 watt blue laser, but one question, which one goes further of the two? And why is the blue laser thicker than the green one?
@@Destructor5500 green one has more reach for its wavelength visibility but on divergence the 1W green is a bit bigger than 1W blues but on +3W blues start to get thicker, also depend on type of lens, im using my lasers with 3 element glass lens to have less divergence possible but about 30% of the power emitted by diode is lost, on G2 lens around 5% is loss but divergence is horrible and therefore reach decreases, most balanced lens that can be easily found are G7 12% loss but more decent beam profile.
It appears Sanwu is no longer in business. The website is taking orders and payments, but never following up with tracking numbers... even weeks later. They do not answer emails. How long ago did you buy this and how long did it take to get a tracking number?
@@Yiffin84 their business ethics are lacking. They did not meet their promised time to shipping, and they never emailed anything after the automated email on the first day. That was 26 days ago. That's how you make a person feel like they've been cheated. The Chinese have a different idea about business ethics.
@@Gruuvin1 I completely understand what your saying. From what Ive read, sanwu can take up to 2, sometimes 3 months to arrive but they do arrive. Unfortunate wait times but a very nice laser once you get it
@@Yiffin84 they don't tell you that upfront. They tell you the product will be built within 2-8 business days and you will receive a shipping number in 10. This is what's posted on their website. That's the information that informs your purchase when deciding if you'll buy from them. It's a lie. And it's not a fluke, since everyone who's responded says the same thing. Shame on Sanwu. Unethical.
I'll be sure to let you know haha 🤣! Just be sure to wear your safety goggles because Class IV Laser = no more seeing cool laser beams if shined in the eye :3
I'll go ahead and reach out to them to see if i can make that possible! A partnership for making new laser reviews for them is in the works, so I'll update this channel with new laser reviews once that's possible 😉!
Awesome review! Been looking at this laser for a while now but it's a little out of my budget range 😭. Do they have any discounts? Also, can you see the laser dor for a few miles away?
sorry for the late reply 😅! As for discounts, I'm not too sure but I believe if you search the laser pointer forum, you may be able to find something 😉. Also for the laser, I'd say for this one in particular it can be seen by yourself for up to 1-4 miles at night, and perhaps even further with their beam expander 🙂

If I stick with single mode, then I don’t have to input the code? One press turns it on, again to turn it off?

How far away can you burn with that power output and wavelength? I want to burn a nylon cord at 3 feet away, can it reach that far away!

I’m thinking of getting the 2w Green Sanwu Challenger II

I highly doubt they are taking money and not shipping anything out. That would be called a scam and they are pretty damn reputable

这是一家中国企业,在中国他们的订单非常多,所以国外发货可能会延迟,别担心,他们不是骗子😂
Is over 400 dollars of sanwu lasers worth the price?? I like the sanwu striker 2watt and I am thinking of getting one but the price is too expensive..
Does this have threads on front to use star diffraction caps ?
Looked so pretty and bright at night 😍, next time you do that tell me to look out the window and I'm sure I'll be able to see it from my house 🤣

I like how you call aluminum white copper - which, of course, is not a thing. Smh
