We're trying to figure out what to do In Lava Hot Springs. So, watched your video and found we are in exactly the same site your were! Thanks for the great content.
The hot springs and pools are THE things to do there. Lava is a small, rural Bannock County town that otherwise has few notable attractions. We always enjoyed going there when we lived in Pocatello. It's a bit too far from Boise, though.
Wow this was great loved the lava fields and caves And the hot springs and your RV! Thanks!❤️😀🇺🇸🚙
So wonderful to see you two share your adventures with us! I have been to Mexico and back to the USA with you two! Thank you for the depth of your adventures sharing with us!
Definitely putting this park on the to do list. Thanks for posting 👍
great video information. Definitely made the right choice and waiting the next day to go to the hosprings. thanks Don
Yes, agreed!
Just trying to support my RV friends that share the truth on the road! Thanks, Liz and Dennis! Keep sharing with us!
This is pretty cool. Grateful to live here and enjoy all these places
Thanks for sharing another wonderful video like always 👍
Thank you Miguel! We appreciate you watching as always
The first time I saw this moon landscape was when Traveling Robert was there. It blew my mind and brought me back to visits to the Canary Island of Lanzarote. Idaho is on my bucketlist! On Lanzarote the lave hit the ocean and we still have many olivine gems we found while exploring. Thank you.
That sounds lovely! Haven't been to the Canary Islands but heard wonderful things. Thanks for watching 😊
I enjoy your videos. You two are positive and fun. Thanks for taking us along to cool places.
Thanks for joining us on our travels! We appreciate you
Great vid, you two! Nice to know I don't have to go to the moon to enjoy the moon. Loved the hot springs. On my bucket list!
Haha right? 🌚 Hope you get to relax there soon
My bucket list!
Thanks!
The McKenzie Pass just outside Sisters, OR is another wild place just like this. With views of Mt. Hood, Mt. Jefferson, Three Fingered Jack, Mt. Washington and the Three Sisters. That was one of our favorite areas before moving to Idaho. Lava Hot Springs is awesome! One of the nicest we've been to besides The Springs in Idaho City.
Sounds epic!
Truly trippy but awesome place! You truly do feel like you are on another planet! Stumbled upon it randomly from a recommendation of a local in Falls and so glad we did!
Yes you do! It's such a unique landscape. Glad you've been and enjoyed it too!
Thank you Liz and Dennis for sharing your travels with us, I am with you in my mind, but the body just say's no! (LOL)
I have been to craters of the moon. it is a really cool place without crowds
Thanks for the video. We were there last year. We didn't stay in the park but a few miles outside of it.
Awesome! Did you enjoy it?!
Another excellent video!!! I never put Idaho and volcanos together until watching!!!!
Thank you! Us either really but it makes total sense.
We almost made it to Craters this year… bummer about the smoke but at least you had done nice quiet”ish” time at the hot springs!
Nature is so amazing! Yes I think Ollie likes tea (maybe it reminds him of catnip lol)
That's what we were thinking. 😆
Been to Craters many times, including camping overnight in a little Coleman dome tent with my kids - all of this before you two were born. Craters can be a challenging environment for camping or day trips, as it can be very hot in the daytime and very cold at night in the summer, and it gets way too much snow in the late fall and winter to be accessible. It's almost always windy and the dust that kicks up is gritty and smells like sulfur. Still, there's plenty to see there, especially if you enjoy going into lava tube caves. Indian Tunnel was always a favorite of my kids because there's always some daylight in there (during the day, of course). Never tried camping there in a motorhome, though. Cheers.
Wow sounds like fun memories! Thanks for watching
That’s one of coolest parks we have ever been too. You feel like you are a moon scape.
So glad you've visited! It is amazing.
I wanna go there cause the serpent myth and it was in a Louie lamore story
That campground made my top ten list. Really unique, but yeah not for big rigs. And one should never go back and watch their old videos, LOL
Hahaha 😂
Way to go Idaho!!👍✌️
Yes! It's the best!
A similar national park is valley of fires in new mexico
the "incident"at 1:36,I say well played sir.timing, tone reverberation---well played indeed
This comment just made both of us laugh out loud 😂 don't nudge him on! I already deal with it enough lol 😆
I was so close to it on my Cross country motorcycle trip last month and didn't know it was there. Glad you showed it to me.
Darn hopefully you get there next time you pass through. Cross country motorcycle? What an adventure!
@@EatSeeRV I really need to actually use my RUclips channel that I made, but I'm active on my FB page, On Forks To Forks. If you ever looking for some food photos with the little motorcycle travel stirred in, come take a look.
Thanks for sharing!
@@EatSeeRV watched your for sale video. Hopefully, you already have a deal made. Looks like an amazing home on wheels.
Thank you! Hopefully this weekend!
As for lava hot springs, check out chicken noodle soup off the side of the tubing river at night, not so much company.
There are private springs as well from the public hot pools
cool.
are ya'll going to the Tampa RV show?
Nope not this year!
We were there in 2020 and it was crazy smoky too….
Sad that's the norm now in summer.
It is a great campground. If you haven’t been yet, City of Rocks, ID has an equally unknown park/campground.
Idaho is filled with hidden gems! We'll have to add that to our list.
Look up the old dance hall south of City of Rocks (Naf) - it’s just out in the middle of nowhere
Great video. Let’er rip Dennis…. If it is not to personal what is the patch on your right shoulder?
😆 Not too personal at all! levels.link/ESRV
Idaho Transfer!
Literally everyone comes there 😂
Craters of the Moon is a pretty cool place. So, what you guys are saying is we should go back and watch that video from 2018, right? 😀😀🤪🤪😀😀🤪. Christine is with Liz. Those hot springs do not get old.
Haha oh Lord please no! It is such a cool park. I'll l never say no to a hot spring!
😂😂😂 THAT'S what I think about it!
😆 welcome to my life
Hey guys! I watched your video as a preparation for my upcoming visit to Craters of the Moon and found it very helpful :)
Would you be able to tell me, where those mountains are that you showed at around minute 1:24 when talking about the smoke from the wildfires? They look stunning and I would like to include them into my trip :)
That was north of there near Sun Valley ID. It was a drive from that mountain range to Craters of the moon. Enjoy!
@@EatSeeRV Thanks a lot for the quick reply!
Across the street from the Lava Hot Springs spa is the Port Neuf River tubing area, where my wife dislocated her shoulder while tubing. The person at the tubing office told us that his friend dislocated his shoulder there two weeks prior. At the Port Neuf Medical Center in Pocatello, the emergency doctor told us that they treat a lot of injuries from that spot. We should have ignored the tubing and just gone to the spa like you did. Yes, the mornings are the best there for peace and quiet.
Yikes! Sorry to hear that. I'm sure that was painful. The tubing looked fun but not with so many people.
Tubing is the best. We all get scars and bruises but gain experiences. Watch out for the whirlpool on the 3rd waterfall from top stay to the left
Liz and Dennis, get out of Dodge, who walks the Lava Spill?
Is that a levels patch? 🧐 If it is, I'm curious on your thoughts! Any surprising things that have caused spikes?
Oh my so many surprising things! Haha I love the data it gives me. If you want to try it out we have a link in the video description. But it's been great!
We have wondered the last 2-3 videos…what’s the thing on your arm for?
It's a Levels continuous glucose monitor which helps me see how my body reacts to certain foods and lifestyle choices! It keeps me from preventing certain diseases and feel my best. You can check out here Levels.link/ESRV
No one comes here and we like it that way haha
Haha I get that!
