I even prefer when it is raining :) Thank you Sanpo for this very nice stroll. Amazing houses and churches. I particularly love the tiny colourful houses. Definitely a weather for a warm cup of tea :)
I enjoyed the walk in a neighborhood I visited ten years ago when we spent three days in London. We stayed at a 3rd rate hotel on Essex Garden for its close proximity to Paddington Station and low price. They put four of us in a 4th floor room and the staircase was steep and narrow. They helped us haul all the luggage up four stories. My son and I went to return the rental car in the neighborhood and on the way back to the hotel, we came across a house with two policemen carrying light machine guns guarding at the front entrance. There were probably some important people in the house. That was our second visit to London and first visit to the Cotswolds, and we had a very good time! Thanks for the memories!
It’s great to be walking under the rain at times. I’m sure you had a good time as much as I am enjoying watching your stroll. Stay safe Sanpo! Greeting from Singapore 😊
Thanks for your warm comment about my wedding at the New West End Synagogue on 1st July 1963, which was a wet Monday (Monday being the only day my father closed his dress shop in Chapel Market, Islington). I remember arriving at the synagogue in a vintage white Rolls Royce. My husband and I now live in Israel. We have 3 sons, 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and hope to make it to our 60th anniversary to receive a greetings card from The Queen. As an expat prevented from getting to London this year I really enjoy your fascinating videos.
tucked my hand beneath your arm and we strolled around an area of London I didnt know. So many lovely mews, apartments and houses. I loved this walk. your umbrella is plenty big enough to keep two people dry, which makes walking in the rain so enjoyable. Now I,m ready to put my feet up and have a good strong cup of tea! Thank you so much Sanpo.
very nice walk friend, the st Petersburgh place is so beautiful and i love the colors of the houses in bark place. another great video friend. have a nice day
9:12 wow! There is a lot of greenery on the front of this house! At 10:00, the street is narrow, not easy to get around by car. 😅 Thanks for this beautiful video 😁 Merci !
I don’t think there is another city on earth that can match London for variety of attractions, sport, music, museums, architecture, shopping, restaurants/pubs, hotels, urban green spaces. Sure it has many big city problems and suffers from over crowding (pre Covid) but the advantages outweigh the problems.
i loved it and enjoyed it very much! Notting Hill Gate was where I stayed when i visited london in 2015. So many memories! So lovely to see that street again... THANKS!

I was wondering when you'd get around to my old manor. This was a special treat for me as i lived around here (Kildare Gdns) for over 15 years. I used to wander the area - and particularly Queensway - day and night. Queensway is alive at all hours with people from everywhere. You must go back there on a summers evening (or just a dry one!) Very nostalgic and a little sad. Thank you. x (Incidentally the park entrance is to Kensington gardens. Hyde park starts at Lancaster gate.)
Beautiful area. And thanks for entering the station. Underground is such a big part of "being in London". Too bad there isn't more of those, strolling through the Underground corridors, on the net. I understand that this could spoil your walk, but you could enter 50 yards deeper into the station (and mix it with some ending text), :) .
@@sanpostroll2107 I really love your strolls- I loved to walk when I lived in London (10 yrs). Haven’t been back in 6 years... But many of my favorite places (and pubs) are still there. Thanks again 🇺🇸
It's quite astonishing how the architecture can change so much in a comparatively small area. Bayswater must have changed so much over the past century with a couple of wars and redevelopment to help it along.
@@sanpostroll2107 I know. So sad it has gone. I also used to go ice skating at a skating ring you went past. I don't know if they still skate there. I also did my A Certificate training in a swimming pool when I was learning Scuba diving in Bayswater.
I live in Israel ... there is a lot of sun and little rain ... shoot your films when it rains in London ... the noise of rain and wet London is very very beautiful
Loved the walk - I admit that I was waiting for the two cars to crash, and for there to be a loud blaring of horns and related verbal abuse. It's good to see drivers who know what they are doing
