I really really like the very short look! I prefer it without the edging in the front though, leaving a little bangs. However, the edging looks great too! Being a short hair wearer myself, I can say it's so much easier to wear....much less styling time. Thanks Jake!
In my opinion, the best hair pieces out there was the late Frank Sinatra and Steve Martin. The fact that Steve keeps it all grey is an added bonus, but most people don't even know he wears a piece. He also has a piece that looks age appropriate because it's not too much hair. Frank always wore a short cut and was also salt and pepper. I think young or old wearing it short is a better option then having too much hair.
I agree. The biggest mistake most men make (especially middle aged men and older), they go for hair styles they had when they were 16, which looks unrealistic, suspicious and out of place. A good system is a system that is easy to manage (simplistic), shows scalp, realistic hairline and the colour matches the person's age. If I buy a system again, I will buy a short one. In fairness, Frank had the money to employ a full time hairdresser and the best toupee on the market for that time. Hairpieces/systems (what terminology people prefer) have been around showbiz for years. I guess, composite bases have revolutionized the market, but the concept remains the same.
I believe a younger person, say 20-30 y/o, could get away with this, but it would look too toupee-ish on an older person. The shortest system I have is 1 inch, and it’s very difficult to transition from system to my own, thicker side hair. It’s too obvious, on me (60 yr old).
The guy looks good. It looks better than the hair helmet some men get when they put on a hair piece. I would not guess this guy was wearing a hair piece.
I agree with Jake, its a little too short. But saying that, 95% of people wouldn't pick up on it, its only the rest of us who are aware of hair systems and pick up stuff like this. But overall it looks ok
Mickey did an immense job, even though I cringed a little when the razor blading was done with the system on, however accurate. Onna hair does a great job too but, the line across the forehead where the hair sprouts and there's sudden hair density seems a bit much. I'm sure it costs a fortune to a) visit in person, b) get them to do it. (Side note: Looking sharp in this posting.)
Love your videos and how honest you are, before taking the route of Hair systems, when you were about to get an FUE done, did you have a good donor area on the back of your head?
so his poly front must be like 0.06/0.08 mm thickness right ? I am ordering my first system from lordhair, will be a lace base and poly perimeter, worried that the perimeter look fake because of the thickness
I'm new too...if I can help I'm pretty much sure that the shorter your hair piece is the more natural it looks and the longer it is the more of a wig it looks. I also noticed that most of these influencers are just too excited with having hair that they want to get the most of the experience by having multiple hair systems with multiple hair styles , you don't have to do that, just get a short one like 1.5 or 2 inches and wear it like a hat. Good luck
@@redpillrevolution606 how much do you pay? I want to get one but I see people on the hair system Reddit that people are paying roughly $600 A MONTH, I’m not able to maintain that kind of budget yet as I’m still in college
Do your research and don't rush into anything or allow sales people to be very pushy. Weigh up the pros and cons. Remember to factor in the maintenance and price. Also, explore other products and treatments on the market. Get other opinions.
Possible to have zero natural of my side hair and just slap a piece on top? I’m 41 and have mostly gray hair on the side and I hate it. Lemme know your thoughts?
I love Mickey's work but I think she is using Asian hair on an Caucasian. (The denier is to large, thus the hair looks too Coarse and to stiff) And all of that shine... makes me question if it's not synthetic .
Mickey Da Barber does the best hair system cuts ever - so skilled !
Yeah!!! She def does!!! I wish I lived closer to her I would def drive to her!!

Do you know how long it last?
For me the final touch on the front line ruined it! It looked really natural just before it! Still very good!

Mickey is the best. She does things that I haven’t seen others dare to do. And if they do, can not compare to Mickey level.
In my opinion , it touch about the haircut blending method . That is very important .

Mickey da barber, does do awesome work. But that straight across front cut, reminded me of Jim Carey in dumb and dumber, lol!

its very convincing for sure.

That first guy looks like a super stud!!!!!
I loved it before the front was cut!
Mickey the barber she’s no joke when it comes to hair systems , she does ALL sorts. Wish I lived in America.
Sorry to disagree. I am an American and lived in several countries, In my opinion, European and South American barbers are better.
I preferred it before they clipped the front!
Looks good. I wouldn’t like it if I was in my 20s but for a guy close to 40. That’s perfect
How long do short hair systems last can someone tell me? Would appreciate it

Before I cut a piece really short I always shampoo a few times ,,just seems to settle it
I think the 1st example has a not the best straight line cut. Loved the 2nd cut-perfect!!

How did it go?
His own hair is going to grow out fast and the difference will be noticeable in 2 weeks.
Yep it's called a haircut ,no problem
Hello, new to this hair replacement and looking for some advice. I love the channel and all the information you provide

Who do you recommend buying hair from?

what is the density of the prosthesis please?
The only problem with the first one is the color. His beard is brownish and the hair is jet black
best place to buy a short system like this??
It would take a weekly cut to make it work.
That t-shirt is about to burst, man! 💪
i want it
Wear to buy a short hair system like this?
It kills me lately with " how to videos" they blow by the ACTUAL WORK I want to see and forced to hear the beleaguered talk!!!
That’s exactly the cut I want ! But the old woman I went to wouldn’t do it for me! She probly didn’t know HOW to do the cut
Any luck on a crew cut unit
My real hair seems to flick up like that on one side regardless of the length.

Shorter hair to me is always better..
That hair short the video short lol .
Good point of view though !
God Bless in Jesus Christ Name Amen.
Smol hair system.
Love your videos. But, damn the use of ‘like’ every 10 words is hard to even listen. Listen to it yourself and count how many times you say it!
The line up should not be there
