Thanks for your honest assessment. I've just started with a hair system (aged 61: I just don't have a skull that looks good bald). I am using a salon, and money (within reason) is not a major problem: with, say two or three systems a year at 900 dollars a time, and then around 100 dollars a month for maintenace (I know salons are pricey compared with DIY). In time I'd like to do some of my own maintenance just so I don't have to keep thinking about salon appointments, or I am travelling. So far the only issue I have is that I need grey hair (to fit with what is left of my bio hair) and I've been told that grey human hair is very hard to source so I have a mixture of white synthetic with black human. I'm not totally convinced that synthetic hair looks 100% natural: though I have had lots of compliments. (One big advantage is that it keeps its shape). Anyway, I am using all tape. I can see that having to remove ghost bond can be very messy. So one suggestion is for people to consider tape only. PS I was interested to hear what you say about passport photos. I looked this up and there doesn't seem to be a need to change the photo (at least in the UK where am currently based). After all people change their hair styles all the time: some even shaving their heads, but they don't continually change their photos. I'd be interested to hear what others say about this. Am planning to travel in the Spring and my passport photo has very little hair. That said, if I'm asked I'm not too embasrrsed to say I'm wearing a system. They really need to ditch photos and go with eye scanning.
900 dollars for a system is outrageous. They shouldn't be more than 400 unless this is some kind of hollywood level of quality system which I doubt, I think they're scamming you.
They are not for everyone I know. I’ve been wearing mine for almost a year now. You need to give it more than 3 months to get fully used to it - in the early days there is a very steep learning curve but after 6 months it becomes second nature to maintain them. It sounds like you were using too much glue as doing so makes cleaning the system difficult, especially if you wear it for more than a couple of weeks - I now use a stronger solvent and mine cleans up pretty good. As for having to take it off or explain yourself when presenting your passport at immigration, my passport shows bald me and the only comment I ever got was “wow, your hair has grown out well”. As for density, everyone who already knows it is a system is quick to point out that it is a little too thick, but hardly anyone else will notice. My currently one is too dense for my age I know, but how it is cut and styled can make the world of difference to how it looks and it sheds eventually anyway.
If you get Professionally applied, can you realistically wear for 4 weeks without having to do anything. I (at least for the 1st system) don't want to have to do any of the maintenance. And at avg of $75 per salon visit, that can get steep.
@@ant1171984 I’ve had my hair system for 14 months now about to get it replaced this month, mine is way better quality it’s not mesh underneath and I clean it myself, I don’t take it all off I do half front then lift the back clean and do the back
Hey man, what is the strong solvent that u mentioned? Most ppl use c22 but ive seen some negative comments about it. Ive bought a system but still not put on yet. im about to buy some tapeand tryin to decide which products i should buy, solvent, tape, conditioner etc.
Wearing a hair system is definitely not for everyone. I’ve been wearing for almost two years and I do all of the attaching and maintenance myself, except for the very first time I had it installed. I remember after that, when I went to take it off to clean and do a re-groom I got so frustrated that I almost just tossed it in the fuckin trash. lol But I took a break, took a deep breath and told myself to be patient and it ended up turning out great. Since then it just got easier and easier and now it’s a walk in the park. It really all depends on if you WANT to get past the learning curve and deal with the maintenance. For me, having hair to style again is worth the time of the maintenance. I’m having a lot of fun with it and NOBODY ever knows I’m wearing a piece unless I tell them. I am pretty open about it. Anyway, great video buddy. You look fantastic bald so keep rockin!
Great comment. I personally take my system off every night and only have to deal with a few minutes of maintenance every week with re-applying tape every couple days around the perimeter. I find this to be the easiest approach. You are right, it is a huge learning curve at first, I came close to throwing mine away and wearing a hat again myself. I ultimately decided that wearing a hat everyday wasn't fooling anyone anyways. If I am willing to wear a hat everyday to cover up my bald spot, why not just wear hair? So Glad I made this choice.
I wear them too. I love it. It does get slightly annoying taking care of it but it's just part of the process. I got a mine from MY HAIR EXPERIENCE. No one ever knows, but like you, I tell everyone it's a system because I love the reaction
I have been wearing a hair piece for almost a year now. I find it not hard to manage at all, I also use a ultra thin poly system, looks pretty realistic. There are different kind of glue you can pick and if done right and blended in, it is not noticeable at all. Know one ever notices are questions. The guy that does hairbymhe is really good, I love his products. Just a different perspective for everyone.
I wear a full wig myself and couldn't imagine being bald, but YOU made the right decision. The system you were wearing was very noticeable. I'd rate it 2/10. It wasn't good at all, and you look better without it.
@John Sampson Nah, I've seen much better. Looked like a stock system to me. The hairstyles most barbers create with these hair systems are partly to blame.
@John Sampson I mean he'd look great with a superior hair system. But because he's got a dead rat on his head, he's better off without it, because it sticks out like a sore thumb. I've been wearing systems for over 20 years. I guess I can tell. But do a search on RUclips. There are some terrific hair systems. Far better than his. With respect.
@John Sampson Well you say most people won't tell but I can only see it from my point of view. What I see. I see a bad toupee. I can't see it any other way. It's the style. it's the way the thing sits on his head. It's the hair texture. And the cut doesn't help. To me, it looks really fake. My first toupee was like that. And one thing I noticed, people were always looking at it. Looking at 'my hair'. I couldn't lie to myself so I set out to get the best, most realistic. I wear a full wig because I have hair loss at the sides and nape. So a simple hair system on top wouldn't work. I have a full head of new hair. Low density. Natural hairline. It cost me $750.00 but it's worth it. I can get about two years plus out of one.
@John Sampson No, not balding. It's low density of 80%. That toupee he wore looks too thick. I would say it was about 130% density. To have realism on a man, unless you're about 12 years old, you're a guy in your 30s, you need to have it look real. That means seeing some scalp when you part the hair. That's being able to see a crown on top. The hair has to be freestyle, comb any direction. My hairline is contour c. I can comb it back or forward. Hairline has bleach knots.
@John Sampson I know guys who have real hair. Thick. One guy I know, his hair is the same as when he was 12 years old. He's 82. Doesn't dye it. No grey. Hairline the same as when he was 12. Haha. But you see, that's rare but his hair is REAL. It's okay if his hair looks like a wig because it isn't. It's when you have a thick dyed wig at 82. That is something to be self-conscious about.
From my experience Lord hair has been the best ive purchased so far. You can feel the silkiness in the texture that it's real even after washing it. Thin skin system are the best for cleaning. If the glue is applied correctly you won't see any type of white lining at all. Walker tape Ultra hold works best especially for summer time. I dye my hair before installing to get a better blend. I'm no hairstylist at all but after messing up a couple of system's in the past and figuring out what works.......ive become a pro at it now
They need to make Hair Piece's with magnets , A negative charged n the Weave and Posevtive Charge Tap on the scalp , Then the piece can be removed for showing , If the magnets are Charged Correctly , they will hold good as glue .
You do look better with your hair system on, makes you look younger, (but that's only my opinion ) but like you say it's all about what you want to make yourself feel happy,, I have a hair system and I love it, as it's part of me, the first 3 month's can test you, because of the feeling of it on your head, because of the maintenance, because of the cost, because of the stigma, because of the feeling does it look natural, can people tell, but these feelings all turn into normality, and these hair pieces look so real , my hair pieces last 6 months and longer, I generally have about 2 hair pieces a year, once a month I take it off and clean it and reapply it, I use double sided tapes rather then ghost bond glue, as it's not so messy, if it start to lift in areas then I use my little bottle of touch up glue,. After awhile it just feels like your normal hair and taking it off feels wierd, so people that want one get one as it made me happier and the cost is not so much as long as you maintain your hair system yourself (it takes me 45mins to take it off clean my hair piece reapply glue tape clean my head and re-apply the hair piece) like I say I do this once a month !!!!! Some people look great with a bald head, I don't !!!!! So do what makes you happy, that's the importance thing.. it is scary at first doing your own maintenance but once you have done it twice , then it does not bother you any more, as it becomes quite easy, find a hair piece that works for you as there is all sorts of systems and get the correct color to match your own side hair this is important,,maybe get the first one professionally picked out for you and styled and applied,(plus they can give you information on all the best self maintenance products) then get it professionally maintained once, watch what they do,, then you can take over and do it yourself, it's your hair and you know how you want it, good luck you hair piece virgins x
Thank you for your valuable insight. I am about to get a hair piece so it has been really useful to hear your views. You look great both with and without your hair system by the way!
The only thing preventing me from putting this is the glue on the scalp ,i cant stand anything makes me sweat up there, I wish these companies discover something like suturing the wig to the scalp directly. GOD I hate being bald.
@@jm7804 must be a tough life. Not going out because of the way you look which I am sure is awful..not going out on dates… no one to love, no one to talk too. I know many bald people have bad lives. If I had a son and he was going bald I try to help him take his life so I understand. Thankfully I have a full head. Yes, I have friends and they say there life is miserable bald so I understand. Wish you well whether you take your life or not.
@@gillomcswan8717 You poor thing. So desperate to have hair that the choices are limited to sewing a wig to your scalp or taking your own life? How sad is that? Go ahead and sew that wig directly onto your scalp. It's going to look great! Never consider taking your own life due to being sad, ugly, and pathetic. Life is worth living, even if you're all of those things....and much more is my guess!
@@jm7804 sorry I disagree, I have seen guys go bald in there 20’s and who are now in there late 50’s and have never had a girlfriend, I have seen guys in who have been turned down from jobs just because there bald and are more scary to look at especially when it involves working with children like being a teacher. No my friend depending on how you come out looking bald you may rightfully consider ending your life because it’s not worth it anymore. Your life dreams can be shattered due to the amount of hair follicles you have. The world can be very cruel depending on your appearance, so yes you should consider the final exit an option if you do lose your hair. That is why I am thankful to have a full head.
@@gillomcswan8717 You sound like a candidate for man of the year.... encouraging your friends and even your own son to end their lives because of hair. And you will even help them do it. Wow! What a guy. Life is worth living, even if you're ugly on the outside and inside like you.
Man you're right about a lot of work and money. Started doing this 2-3 months ago and I've already used about 7-8 different hair systems trying to figure out what I like. In Texas I sweat constantly and play tennis and the adhesive might last 1-2 days before I have to redo the front adhesive.. and it's a nightmare cleaning it off and reattaching it. I started using tape, even on the front, and it lasts longer but doesn't look quite as good imo. Also it can rip some of the thin base materials when you take it off... Just be ready to spend from a half hour to 2-3 hours messing with your hair system a few times a week and spending $3-400 a month on them. And I've done all of the work myself, which has it's benefits and downsides.
You are surely an ideal candidate for SMP, that would work for you. Thanks so much for the video, it is excellent. I think you look better now than you did with the hairpiece.
Your salon who provided you with the hair system should of given you the opportunity of maintance once a month which involves them taking off the system cleaning and re fitting, styling and hair cut if needed, this is usually around $25 - 30 per month but it stops you messing it up at home trying to do it yourself
@@Stellarffxi per month? Hundreds of dollars?.. You may as well go and have implants and not some wig glued to your head. Systems are 500, you may need two to three per year but monthly maintenance is 25 - 30, Max is 40, if you are paying hundreds of dollars per month I would advise you seek legal aid!
Hi, i think you should use another type of toupee, pure lace is not easy to clean. i recommend combination of lace and mono. lace at the front and top and mono at the edge. just use super tape and not the glue on it. based on my personal experience i highly recommend super tape as this tape is strong but easy to clean using ethyl alcohol. i currently using hair toupee from lord hair.
Is mono good for the front hairline? I've had a number of poly and lace systems and both have acceptable hairlines, but haven't found anything great yet... And full lace is a nightmare to clean. I like poly surround with lace top.. unfortunately all the ones I've found like that also have a lace front hairline when I think I prefer the look of thin poly hairline...
The truth is that you can only apply adhesive/glue to the perimeter and that is enough. I don't really understand why the hair specialists put glue all over. It gets just as you describe : very itchy and sticky. Using the glue in the perimeter makes cleaning much more easier and it will help to have a healthier scalp.
If you get Professionally applied, can you realistically wear for 4 weeks without having to do anything. I (at least for the 1st system) don't want to have to do any of the maintenance. And at avg of $75 per salon visit, that can get steep.
After the first application at the salon I did wear it for 3 weeks I believe, but it might've been 4, I don't remember anymore. And that includes 3 sweaty workouts a week. So yes I think it's possible, but if you wanna be totally hands off that'd be very expensive over time for sure.
Lets say $75/month thats roughly 8-9k over 10 years.... I think the average guy can swing that for confidence. If you are struggling to even save $75 every month than I got worse news for ya
Hey man I've seen some great hair systems on guys ,but unfortunately yours the worse I've ever seen ,colour was far to dark 4 your complexion . Density was far to thick & hair cut was totally wrong, u may as well have had a sign on u saying I'm wearing a wig , anyway good honest video man
@@jeffharrison6059 I agree , there are some amazing hairs systems on the market , 100% undetectable , it's just a case of educating yourself & choosing the correct type 4 you, density, colour, cut etc etc
His hair system is not as bad as ur saying there are way worse hair systems out there with outrageous density and fake looking shiny synthetic hairs in perfect straight line in the front which I can spot very easily. No matter how good ur hair system is I feel it's always a good idea to wear ur hair down in order to avoid the anxiety of, if ur hairline is perfect or not so him wearing his down doesn't make the system look bad but I agree there are definitely better systems out there also he was sponsored and I don't think he physically visited the company to get the system, I assume he sent pictures and based on dat they sent the system which was the closest to his hair colour can't really blame the company for that
@@pauliepaul6447 Unfortunately no matter how educated the wearer is on hair, the companies are insistent on making up terrible looking thick fake toupee. It's always a fight to get them to co operate and make something slightly Natural looking. It's a pity they don't take opinions of actual wearers into consideration
That was a concern of mine as well, especially that I do go to the gym a lot. Surprisingly though the system was a lot more breathable than anticipated, I never noticed any discomfort or issue while sweating.
i shaved my head at military school, and i was so used to that already it wasn't really hard for me to just... do it again lol. I do like keeping it short though
Do you should use a water-based glue like got to be glued no it won't last for 2 weeks but it's so easy to get out of your hair and wash off it will hold your hair easily for 3 or 4 days That's really as long as you should be wearing one of these things in my opinion without a rest
You have a good head shape and u are defintely rocking the shaved head look. U may consider micro scalp pigment, it's easy to maintain and i don't have any problem doing it. It's just that my bald head shines crazy and i have a pretty oily skin/scalp, so i just start to try out hair system recently(bought it but haven't put it on yet). Anyway, like u said, do whatever u want to make urself happy!
I've done shaving as much as possible and systems.. Systems vary wildly and some looked very good.. By far the best for me was shaving and muscling up, dressing up, and again, my best look for sure. Are hair systems all bad for all, F no. But it wasn't great for me.
Have you ever though of getting a hair transplant. If you do your research and go to a well known institute you can get results with a reasonable price. Turkey is a good option, but only if you go to the right places. In my country, Greece, there are some good clinics also. Examples are dr. Erdogan and dr. Anastasakis
anastasakis is expensive.. give me a price for anastasakis. he never talk about this.. well figure out i will not gonna travel if he is not saying the price nobody gonna travel there without knowing the price lol
I have an oily scalp. My scalp also sweats a lot. Sometimes, it smells at rh end of the day after so much sweating. Question, will this be a problem for me?
Here's the thing, and it just is. Some guys look great with shaved head, actually better shaved. I'm sorry amigo but you're not one of those lucky ones, start wearing your unit again, it looked GREAT!
The hair on hair systems gradually sheds, even on high quality ones, the hair gets drier etc. They don't last forever and don't look their best forever. Most wearers average 3 to 6 months per system before it has to be replaced.
I wish that you would go into detail as far as what it costs to initially get it, and what it cost to maintain it. Also, I wish you would go into talking about how long it actually takes to get it done.
I have been shaving my head for 15 years. I have considered a hair piece. Then I remember how people treated me different being bald. Men show me so much more respect. I love feeling the air on my head. I feel cool and clean. I wear wigs for drag. I love removing them. The more I learn about hair systems the less I want one.
Hogatha Cystly, You made the right decision. Some men look great with a shaved head. They look better than men with a full head of hair. Save your money. I wore one for 15 years. No more, i gave it up.
Thank you for doing this . I have worn a baseball hat my entire life and work in surgery so I wear a scrub hat all day . But I’m bald on the top . Nobody knows . Sometimes I want to go to restaurant or a party and would like hair . You gave me great info . Unfortunately the only real thing anyone can do is except life on life’s terms. God bless
I really needed to see this video. Theres a movie on this topic called Bala. Its a good watch if you’re in this situation. At the end, you just have to learn to accept yourself as is.
smartwib10 what do u gain from those comments? Really, before u start typing some other fucked thing, think about it. What do u gain from saying that? Be nice, there’s already so many fucked things going on in this world, theres no place for your illogical comments. People with cancer lose all their hair, he has a beard, clearly he doesn’t have cancer. Dont be a negative person, you’ll have nothing to live for.
When you use a lace system, you really shouldn’t use the glue. Tape is the way to go. Now you can use an ultra thin skin hair system with the glue and it would work nicely. I have been using the ultra thin skin system with the Ghostbond glue and have no issues cleaning it or even sweating.
No offense but the passport picture excuse is pretty nonsensical, I had literally long hair on mine and was traveling abroad (to the US of all places, one of the most anal borders) with a head shaved and nobody even asked about it...
Having a passport photo with hair while standing totally shaved, the officer will naturally assume you shaved your head. However, having a bald passport photo while standing in front of the officer with a head full of hair, well this requires some explanation :)
Gaurav Pal I think he lost to much hair. He is bald all over his whole head. If he does a transplant and it comes out wrong he will never again be able to shave his head. Not a Joe Rogan is he bald??? More like uncle Fester if you ask me.
I wear systemz for the time being but, I'm still getting my real stuff back. I don't care what liez the hair industry tell me. I'm not buying into them anymore.
I know this was posted long ago, but for you noob's here's my advise: Umm, I've been a wearer since the 1970's and so I've seen quite the evolution of various systems and their attachment methods. Firstly, whomever you went to may have applied your system into wet glue? I don't know for a fact of course but the amount of residue you have on the system is profound. Additionally, she may have applied glue to the system base itself (that's a No-No on LACE systems) and that would definitely account for the mess. I can tell you that I personally never have seen anyone glue a LACE system on that way. Usually a lace system is taped all the way around the perimeter ONLY and ONLY the front is glued (minimally) to the scalp. In fact the glue is applied to the scalp only and allowed to dry. The LACE front is then pressed into the dried glue on your scalp. Never apply glue to the LACE, period. As you say, the glue migrates though the lace and into the hair. this will sometimes happen on the front if you're in a hurry and press your front into the glue before it's dry. If only the front is glued it's not really much of a problem. It can be cleaned. If you do what I saw in this video then yes, you're going to have quite the problem.
I'm 61 this year and have been shaving my head for about 20 years. I like the look, but being bald makes you look 20 years older. I work out, and my body is great, but the lack of hair means I won't be dating any young chicks anytime soon!! I wear a baseball cap a lot of the time, and the difference in the reaction from women is quite noticeable!! I'm married so it's not a huge issue, but if I was single it would suck!! Some chicks won't give a bald guy a chance. Yeah, it's a superficial attitude but that's the reality!!
@@mikthe2004 No doubt that's true, but so do other factors, such as having a big nose, being too short, too fat, too skinny, or whatever a given woman might dislike.
You look 10 years younger with a piece. I think 3 months is too short of a time to figure things out, and what works for you. You can always revisit the idea.
I think you're over thinking it about the passport. You know people are allowed to shave their heads you know. But on a deeper level who cares what some passport checking person thinks..
You look better without the system. You suit a shaved head. If hair loss bothers you I’d try SMP. I had it done a couple of years ago and it looks natural and is so easy to maintain 👍

l just dont like the idea of glueing something on my head, l would always have the fear it would come off in public and it would feel fake, l think a hair transplant would be the best way to go
Some guys only for 1-2 weeks before changing. You should have had unit with lighter color, and you should have used tape, and not glue. It would have been much much better experience for you.
Sounds totally honest and reasonable to me. I've been thinking high quality wigs rather then replacement because they seem easier to manage, but I'm getting the feeling that no matter what route one takes it's time consuming, needs perpetual maintenance, and wigs wear out too. And the best human hair wigs are expensive. Vanity sucks. if a dude's peace of mind, if he has any left in what's left of this world, is based on values that are less superficial, then who cares if your bald. It even looks great on some guys, usually people with a lot of character, which is what really shines through and is where the real value is. If I had a good marriage and kid, hair loss would be a "so what?" to me. I'm getting speechy sorry. I don't mean to undermine how powerful the social conditioning is that makes us want to look "our best", maybe in a million years , if the species is still around, it will have evolved in a better direction where this issue is either fixed because it has become totally irrelevant, or because they have invented a way to medically end hair loss. Meanwhile, probably better to take the thousands you'll spend on hair issues and but every equity index put option you can afford, so when this market crashes, as it will, you will make so much money, that you won't be thinking about follicles. Besides, NOTHING, and I spek from over 60 years of experience, is sexier then heavy money, not heavy hair!
You have hair though, judging by your profile picture. So you've never experienced hair loss. All you have is theories. I think you should stop writing novels about things you have no experience with, and keep your opinions to yourself. P.S if hair is not that important, why is yours so long? Why don't you just keep it short? Wouldn't that be more time effective and easier to maintain and keep clean? Hypocrite is what I see.
Watched few vids today about these things for the first time. Unconciously, for the first time, was walking around in a large super market without a hat. Very rare thing for me. Guess what. *Nothing happened* Others care about us, less than we might think.
I had mine on for a day, hated it, tried a different haircut, thought I still looked better bald, then ripped it off before bed to itch my head properly... Such a bald guy thing to do.
You put yourself into lots of unecessary issues; The glue mess as an example. It's no surprise for me to notice that you had systems and haircuts that looked better than others just as some hairdressers are much more skilled to cut hair systems than others.
Hey man you should really get micropigmentation on your scalp. It looks 100% natural, you will look at least 10 year younger and you don't have to wear a beanie all the time.
Your system looked pretty bad so not sure if your whole experience went downhill from there. Give it another try with leaving the hair longer and not covering your forehead.
that would have looked quite nice had you got it cut in to suite you… It’s too long and a really bad shape!! a bit more feathering and brought forward brushing the fringe upward… Also you had it on too long!! you need to wash your scalp at least every second day and change tape every week…. Best solution is poly base, it’s cleaner without irritation
I'll admit that most bald guys look better with the hair piece, but I don't think I would enjoy spending the time and money maintaining it. Also, if you're a single guy and is still in the dating scene then you'll be anxious about your "hair" every time you want to go to the next level with the person you're dating or trying to date. You'll save a lot of time, money and headache by learning to accept your baldness.
I'm bald and struggled to cope with it but my friend shaved my head once and I never looked back. Dont get me wrong of course I would love a full head of hair. Let's cut to the chase, the hair you were wearing looked fake. It's a wig, people dress them up as "hair systems" and all sorts if fancy names. This is to extract more money from you, this is an emotion based purchase. I have researched many different solutions, none give really good results. Look at the sports and movie stars with millions and access to the latest techniques. I say you have a good symmetrical face and head shape. You have huge blue eyes and are obviously a thoughtful, sensitive guy. Shave your head, own it, go to the gym and get in shape, your body is more important than your hair. You are already slim. Then concentrate on yourself and how you treat others around you, this is how people become popular and successful. I wish you lots of happiness and congratulations on your daughter x
Mmm, that was not adecuate for you, the color, the styling, the glue, you had to make a research before you use a hair piece like that, besides, most of those hair pieces are thought to be styled in pompadour styles.
You made the right decision. First off, you look good without it. Secondly, you have a family. And that's the most important thing. When my daughter was born I put all those thoughts aside. It wasn't necessary anymore. More important things to worry about. My vanity wasn't one of them.

@@hippoo25 I use ghost bond glue and c22 solvent spray it leave it few mins then take off
what type of glue do you use?
Wearing a hair system is definitely not for everyone. I’ve been wearing for almost two years and I do all of the attaching and maintenance myself, except for the very first time I had it installed.
I remember after that, when I went to take it off to clean and do a re-groom I got so frustrated that I almost just tossed it in the fuckin trash. lol
But I took a break, took a deep breath and told myself to be patient and it ended up turning out great.
This Time good point!
I wear them too. I love it. It does get slightly annoying taking care of it but it's just part of the process. I got a mine from MY HAIR EXPERIENCE. No one ever knows, but like you, I tell everyone it's a system because I love the reaction
Kohl Kovet yeah it’s kind fun seeing how they react. People don’t believe me. lol
I get mine from MHE also. Curtis is the man.
@@d.e.t4147 yeah agreed! Haha Curtis really is the greatest
I'm no hairstylist at all but after messing up a couple of system's in the past and figuring out what works.......ive become a pro at it now
What is your monthly cost and how long do the lordhair systems Last?
They need to make Hair Piece's with magnets , A negative charged n the Weave and Posevtive Charge Tap on the scalp , Then the piece can be removed for showing , If the magnets are Charged Correctly , they will hold good as glue .
Why not try a clip on system? It would avoid a lot of the frustrations you mentioned about clean up and maintenance.
I think a SMP would be better for someone like you who doesn’t wanna deal with the maintenance. You’ve got the headshape for it
Thank you for your valuable insight. I am about to get a hair piece so it has been really useful to hear your views. You look great both with and without your hair system by the way!
That's awesome, good luck!!!
The only thing preventing me from putting this is the glue on the scalp ,i cant stand anything makes me sweat up there, I wish these companies discover something like suturing the wig to the scalp directly. GOD I hate being bald.

Thanks so much for the video, it is excellent. I think you look better now than you did with the hairpiece.
Thanks for yourself insight. I figured it would be like this. I just dont feel like fussing over my hair all the time.
Your salon who provided you with the hair system should of given you the opportunity of maintance once a month which involves them taking off the system cleaning and re fitting, styling and hair cut if needed, this is usually around $25 - 30 per month but it stops you messing it up at home trying to do it yourself
Ethan Berry, Make the unit even more expensive. He did the right thing.
$25-30? The places I've seen charge monthly and give you 2-3 hair systems a year.. and it's hundreds of dollars every month.
Yeah I use tape only on the perimeter... Would probably use adhesive if I didn't sweat so much.
I have a question about your experience, was it ever hot and caused a lot of sweating more than usual? thanks!
With a lace system, not at all

After the first application at the salon I did wear it for 3 weeks I believe, but it might've been 4, I don't remember anymore. And that includes 3 sweaty workouts a week. So yes I think it's possible, but if you wanna be totally hands off that'd be very expensive over time for sure.
Lets say $75/month thats roughly 8-9k over 10 years.... I think the average guy can swing that for confidence. If you are struggling to even save $75 every month than I got worse news for ya

why should u buy it 3 times a year? what happens to it over time?
The hair on hair systems gradually sheds, even on high quality ones, the hair gets drier etc. They don't last forever and don't look their best forever. Most wearers average 3 to 6 months per system before it has to be replaced.
I wouldn’t mind about the maintenance etc the only thing I’m worried about is the total cost.. 1000 per year i would say! :(((

Thanks for the video.
I know this was posted long ago, but for you noob's here's my advise:
Umm, I've been a wearer since the 1970's and so I've seen quite the evolution of various systems and their attachment methods.
Now that you are no longer wearing the hairpiece, how about popping it on the baby for a quick photo shoot? It would be adorable to see it on a baby!

If u grow ur hair long from the side u could easily play the real life character of Trevor from gta5

You weren’t supposed to keep that hair topper for more than 4 months. Of course it got messed up.
Welsh Lad, What is SMP?
@@freddie7145 it’s Scalp Micro Pigmentation. It gives the illusion of a 5 o’clock shadow on my bald bonce. Got my hairline back and I love it.
@@welshlad6427 Thank you for responding back. I did not know what it was.
8 minute video and could have been said in a few words. "I did not like cleaning it"
Teljesen megértem a helyzetet.
People always complain only hair
Should get a .03 poly!
Exactly, easier clean-up

Jesse Gotti looks ugly bald. Lazy guy obviously.
why to fuss, have a clip type system, no tapes no adhesives, job done!
l just dont like the idea of glueing something on my head, l would always have the fear it would come off in public and it would feel fake, l think a hair transplant would be the best way to go
Some guys only for 1-2 weeks before changing. You should have had unit with lighter color, and you should have used tape, and not glue. It would have been much much better experience for you.
he did use tape?
You buyed a cheaper wig .
My friend wig never had like yours.
It depends what you buy.
If I had a good marriage and kid,
hair loss would be a "so what?" to me.
Guess what.
*Nothing happened*
Others care about us, less than we might think.
Try to get a hair transplant
Easier said than done. You're hiding your baldness in your profile pic. I'm just so sick of hiding it.
The Bald and the Beautiful
Sziaa!
SZEVASZ ^.^
Mmm, that was not adecuate for you, the color, the styling, the glue, you had to make a research before you use a hair piece like that, besides, most of those hair pieces are thought to be styled in pompadour styles.
Just go to a professional if you don't want to do the maintenance. It's the same thing as getting a hair cut.
Hominid > Homo Habilis > Homo Erectus > Homo Sapiens < Please don’t unsubscribe because my daughter is turning 4 months pretty soon
Idk what it is but he looks way better bald in my opinion.
You made the right decision. First off, you look good without it. Secondly, you have a family. And that's the most important thing. When my daughter was born I put all those thoughts aside. It wasn't necessary anymore. More important things to worry about. My vanity wasn't one of them.
Dude needs a monifilament system
Dude listen Im 21 and recently started to rock the bald look, Im not gonna lie, I am very fit and have a nice beard etc and never had problems with girls but I was kinda expecting girls to stop liking me or something.
