Brother Michael. It was a pleasure kicking it with you on the job. Be easy king and stay Bless.
Im doing this jon on my 545i and didnt remove the rad . Its just a pain to get . Im glad to see another who DIDNT remove the CP
My boyfriend is determined to get that stupid bolt in without removing the pulley. We even turned it so the cut out notch on the pully was lined up with the hole for the bolt but it isn't really big enough to let the head of the bolt pass through. I think I am just gonna take it off because we have been at this for hours trying to get that damn bolt in and it seems like it took WAY more time trying to save time and not taking the pulley off.
awesome vlog we would love to see more vlog like this i always wanted to learn stuff like this.
Beauty and The Barber thanks bro and I'll be more than welcomed to show you anything you you wanna know!
So you mind telling us or showing us how you removed the tensioner
Simple. There’s a tensioner, with a plastic cap, pop the cap off then use s torx bit to loosen the single bolt. Then the tension will remove
I did the same just have patience fast install thanks bud
No problem bro, I'm glad this video was helpful!
I was able to get the last bolt out by loosening several of the harmonic balancer bolts. -_-
I don’t know if your still looking through these comments bro but my 550 is a HOT MESS, I don’t know if I need to replace my pump or not. It’s not leaking but I don’t think it’s circulating the fluid, my radiator fan stays on most of the time if not then always, and the car over heats every now and again. I’m not trying to pay a mechanic 150$+ to hook up a computer to look. You got any ideas? It’s a mechanical pump so is it even possible for it to not pump fluid while the belts are turning it??
Bro I had the same issue before and after I changed the water pump, I then discovered that my head gasket on the passenger side was blown.. I believe I did it from running so long with a bad waterpump before I found where the leak was.. Is your car misfiring or blowing smoke at start up?
Mighty Mike Madness it recently started misfiring but it’s only happened like 2-3 times after start up. It doesn’t happen constantly
Aww man... Since it just started I would try to run some blue devil gasket sealer through it to see if it'll fix it if its a head gasket! You would need to replace your thermostat as well afterwards.. Let me know if you need one because I have a bran new one I could sell you for like $50 I never put on mines.
Mighty Mike Madness I’ll try it out thanks, as for the thermostat unfortunately I’m gonna have to pass, I’m buying my stuff off of FCP euro so that once I buy it once I’ll be covered forever afterwards. Just gotta pay for shipping
@@neaptidegaming3303 👌 good Idea bro!! Let me know when you get it fixed and what all you had to do!
I did not remove tensioner but I did it you genius
looks like a cutout on the pulley ?
You smart
So your water pump at the pulley was leaking?
Yes and for a long time I couldn't figure out where it was coming from especially while it was running because of the fan blowing.
It looks cold asf out there
Broo it was lol.. that's why I was sniffling throughout the whole video lol. Bad time of the year for that to happen and had to do it outside 🤣...
That’s bull crap you have no space to pull that bottom bolt because it is hard up against the pulley, therefore it’s not easy unless you bag off the pulley
Right bro, and it was more work and a hassle to take the pulley off smh.. I was like nah not me lol I'mma figure something out lol.
loosen the harmonic balancer bolts
You say pump funny. PEH .UMP
Lol
