Totally agree I took it into tiger bay and even some enemies at ban pa took more than they should, yes the mp5 is iconic BUT facts are facts and the 9x19mm is a pellet
I tried running the MP5 with XP ammo on Blue Lagoon and all I can say is the TTK is very inconsistent. Even though I shoot at the enemy's chest, they refuse to die with 5 rounds in.
I went to YBL-1 with it and XP+ ammo, and even in the perfect conditions for the gun (a lot of CQB), it was underwhelming. Enemies were tanking this ammo like it is SP or sth, I almost ran out at the end (brought like 400) and had to pretty much run away near the checkpoint (didn't want to risk it at +20m distance). You pretty much have to land headshots for this thing to kill anything reasonably fast. Worst part of it all is that this gun is hella expensive and is available for purchase too late, as it is only a good option for the starter town... or it would if it wasn't so expensive. They need to reduce its price to 30%, let us buy all of the ammo types and make it available at level 1. Otherwise it is just something for people to challenge themselves or sth, because it definitely has no niche.
The MP5 should absolutely not hold its own against enemies wearing level 3 and 3+ armor, no matter what kind of ammo it's loaded with. They're pistol rounds trying to penetrate rifle-rated armor.

Considering AK's and M4 come with 60 round mags, the MP5 lacks ammo capacity given it's firing speed, it's just not competitive currently, the roadmap alludes to stealth gameplay down the line and this may be where the MP5 comes into it's own. Right now it's fun to meme around with but I'll be taking my M4 for Fort Narith runs. I would love to see SMGs have some real use in CQB in this game, game needs more tasks that bring people into close quarters, and more areas where CQB is necessary (thinking an expansion to YBL, some underground areas for Fort Narith, maybe even tunnels in some of the others areas like Ban Pa, Blue Lagoon, Pha Lang Airfield)
There is one more spawn point for the ICU key, so maybe it was there. Also, you don't have to drag money (or other stuff) from the bodies, you can CTRL+click it, just like with the stash.
I just did this mission a few days ago. The key also spawns in one of the other rooms. Unfortunately, I can't remember which room, I believe it was downstairs. I've also seen another video where it spawns in another room upstairs. You just have to look for it

Even a level 12+++ vest on your torso won't save your naked face from a 9mm round. Anything is useable with good enough aim.

MP5 need more damage to medium range to be used in top tier spots.
So many sketchy moments I don’t see how the ai didn’t land more shots sooner lol. Nice gameplay tho
I love the MP5 but only use it when helping out new players. Can't take it to FN, TB or MS. Everywhere else its viable with XP+ ammo
