Just a hint about halogen bulbs. Kinda hard to remove or handle them without touching. If you want to keep them, you could wear gloves, or you can just clean them with alcohol which will remove the oils left by your dirty little digits. Keep a box of those little disposable alcohol pads handy. Then wrap the bulbs in a paper towel or tissue. 🙂
resistors is a dead link. Also you didn’t need to trim the pnp resistor socket. It’s made to be tight so it doesn’t fall into the housing like what you had. And you wont need to electrical tape it cause you trim the socket.
My dad has a 2014 9th gen Accord and this plus Switching all the other lights to LEDs we just make the car feel more up-to-date in modern I keep telling him LEDs will just make the car look better
I got the V6 Touring. LED DRL, blinkers, headlights and fogs 💯👌🏾😍I did have to covert the entire rear end set up to LED tho.😎👍🏾 Btw the only bulbs that can be damaged, explode or have a shortened life by touching them is the actual headlights bulbs. (Ex: H4,H7, H11 etc.) Not any other type of bulb. (Ex: 1157, 7440, 194 etc)
Hey , those wires are necessary to install this I ordered the same lights from amazon but it’s just the lights not the wires So can i install them or do i need to buy the wires too ?
Honda has a recall/extended warranty for them. They did mine in my 2016 EX-L for free(Work was done this year 2019). Call and verify that your vehicle is covered by this.
I installed led switchbacks on my ‘17 accord and I’m having some issues. I’ve got resistors, but whenever the headlights are on they hyperflash. When I turn them off, they’re fine. Any suggestions?
Cem Brinckley still running them, I haven’t experienced any issues what so ever. I think if you buy them directly through jdmASTAR or amazon, they come with a year warranty if I’m not mistaken (again, not sponsored, paid full price). The only “issue” (if you would call it that) is the black housing of the bulb itself turned to a bronze color due to the heat it imites. Not a big deal to me as the bronze color is still visually pleasing. Also, the zip ties have still held up around the resistors. Just checked yesterday while doing an oil change haha.
Angel Perez So far so good! The only minor “issue” would be that the black aluminum housing faded out to more of bronze color due to heat. Not the biggest deal as the lights still work perfectly but something to expect!
Hey man, it seems they discontinued the plug n play adapter and shut down their website. I updated the bulb link to one from Amazon. Double check fitment for your car though 🙏🏽
@@ikhtiarapon7371 you would have to tap in some resistors resistors like theses. Cheaper and a little more work but same result. iBrightstar 50W 6ohm Load Resistors - Fix LED Bulb Fast Hyper Flash Turn Signal Blink Error Code www.amazon.com/dp/B07HF47RV9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_sYt5FbSZZBM1T
Overall, it cost about 55 bucks for the lights/resistors and about 2 bucks for the electrical tape. So lets just say under 60 bucks for everything. Both links are in the description if you are interested in the exact same set up I have, but there are cheaper options for the resistors, especially if you want to splice the cables yourself (check out ebay/amazon). Honestly, it is not a hard job at all. Everything should take you about 30 minutes or less to complete. It took me longer than that because I unfortunately dropped one of the bulbs in the headlight housing and I had to remove the bumper/fender in order to retrieve it. Also, the left side of the car is waaayy easier than the right because less things are in the way. I hope you enjoy them if you decide to get them! Goodluck!
Rick Martinez it’s bright but in no way blinding. Never had anyone complain about it and I’m still running it to this day. It’s to bright for the camera to pick it up but in person it looks super clean. No point other than aesthetics
farriswheeler sweet. Lmfao..i dont even own an accord yet. Still DD’ing my 5th gen Prelude. I’m torn between the 9th and 10th gen Accords. I want one in 6MT manual. But decisions decisions. Looks like I found a 2014 Accord Sport 6MT for 10k with 97k miles on it in grey. Will be checking it out soon.
Blinding oncoming traffic is so much appreciated.
It’s not that bright in person. Bright enough to where the camera can’t pick it up but no where near blinding

Stock headlights and cougar motor H11 LEDs from Amazon. The switch back turn signals are from JDMastar

Just buy a Touring and avoid any potential headaches haha. They do look good and a good option. Thanks
Blue Moon oh the sedans, I like the regular projector headlights more than the touring. However, on the coupe the touring headlights look better.
Lol so true
I want to get a touring or get touring headlights but idk how to replace the lights for them if they burn out
2015 touring has 2 LED per side with a nice blue cutoff
Which headlight is this
My bottom drls went out how do I fix that ?

Did you LED strip in the DRL? Or bulb
Are they good with the battery?
No issues as of it
what bulb you used for the low beams?
any advice on how to fix daytime running light problem? my passenger side drl went out
Sadab Ahmed Open recall on them, take em to Honda and they’ll replace em for free
@@JayHonda I have had mine replaced twice already
Lol 😂 u don’t have to remove ur headlight to get the bulb out .. use speaker wire twisted and pull
So now that a year has gone by. What are your comments on longevity? I’ve read that these can go out after a few months. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply! That’s really helpful! I’d like to do this on my 2013 Sport. 👍

I guess there is something wrong with the link that you posted
