That has to be one of the sickest "shreddits" ever released...The contrast between fighting fire and battling nerves on psycho stunts is unreal. Very, very impressive. You can't not love watching Steve ride.
Can't imagine the feeling to yank the bars like that while going almost straight vertical down a cliff for some of those drops, that's just craaazytalk! 🥶
Incredible riding! All those gnarly lines look crazy in the video, but only standing at the top of them can make you truly appreciate how insane they are. 10/10 cinematography too the whole vibe is sick.
Such a talent I’m a retired Firefighter who’s been riding since the 80’s there is no comparison. Hands down Steve you win by a mile. So smooth and style making the impossible possible but not for most.
Man, pure awsome, the quality of production is insane, and The ridning, come on! Just respect for that last line, but got damn. At 2:14, that line and how it was shot gives me goosebumps!
Absolute pure art❤. Steve is definitely No1 on my favourite riders list, the man's a magician on the bike. Love the new angles and perspectives on this edit🤙
Awesome work guys! Seeing some of Steve's moves filmed by Scott Secco really gives you an appreciation for how gnarly that stuff is, especially the line at the end!
The ONLY truly great things in this world carry some form of risk, it is the inner animal part of our brain taking over or something I'm sure of it haha. Mucho respect for running in to burning buildings to save peoples lives though man, my uncle was a fire chief (only just retired though) in NZ and it baffles me some of the stuff (even "just" the training stuff) he has talked about sounds so intense and stressful. Maximum respect I'd chicken out with that I'm sure. Amazing riding, those lines looked amazing. Brutal stepdown at the 2 minute mark.
Yes, I still remember my first mountain bike ride. Although the rider in this video may be a novice, I feel we shouldn't shame him for it. If he stays consistent he could improve greatly over time and one day ride challenging terrain (I'm guessing this was filmed at a local trail in Kansas?). Just take things one ride at a time. Set small goals for yourself. Try dropping off a curb before you attempt a bigger drop feature on a trail. I have no doubts that our friend Steve Vanderbeek here won't let negative comments on the internet keep him from progressing and will one day leave the ranks of being a novice rider. And one day, maybe, possibly, he will even be able to conquer the gnarliest trail feature of all time. The gap jump over Dawson's Creek.
Super sick! Vanderhoek is the epitome of gnarly. Awesome match cuts Secco🎞 ✂️

Can't imagine the feeling to yank the bars like that while going almost straight vertical down a cliff for some of those drops, that's just craaazytalk! 🥶

Steve is a one of a kind human! unreal talent
Incredible riding! All those gnarly lines look crazy in the video, but only standing at the top of them can make you truly appreciate how insane they are. 10/10 cinematography too the whole vibe is sick.
I think i can tell when Secco worked on a project or a part of it, its like next level.
Steve’s riding is ALWAYS unreal but that overhead shot of him swinging the pickaxe in the snow was SO nicely placed in the video!
