Thanks to you both for all the hard work! I have several of these on my TBR to look forward to. My biggest surprise was realizing how many authors I have enjoyed yet didn’t know they are Canadian! 😂
Thank for creating this list. I felt I hadn't read enough Canadian Lit to justify voting and indeed I have only read a dozen or so of the 67. This will inspire me to get to more.

Thank you for the great work done, as a curious for CanLit books, I highly appreciate all the effort ❤ I joined the storygraph challenge and I also checked my library for all the available books. It seems, I can get 39 books here, in Finland. I own a copy of Birnam Wood and The Marrow Thieves is already borrowed from the library, I can soon start to catch up 😅 What I also enjoyed, while watching the video, it is your personal feedback about the books. Wow, eight of my votes made it in! I'm surprised. Thank you so much you two. I was hesitating on Fayne but now that I know you really liked it, Lindy, it's going on my TBR. I just about voted for Mercy Among the Children but NISHGA made it in to my votes instead. I like the more experimental side of Canadian Lit!
@@TheQuietMidden 8 out of 10: wow! Nishga is a great choice. I will definitely feature Jordan Abel in one of the future videos where Jolene and I discuss books that received votes but didn’t make the top 67.
What a wonderful list of books that I can use to brush up on my Canadian lit. As an American, this was so incredibly helpful. I was also pleasantly surprised that I've read or own quite a few of them.
This was great & yes I'd love to see the full list of all the books that were voted for! It was definitely hard to limit my votes to just 10 books, decided I could only include 1 per author & still it was tough. 6 of my books made the top10 😀
@@barbradingwall3502 Thanks so much for participating! I feel your pain in having to limit votes to just 10 books. So hard!!! Jolene and I will figure out how to share more titles from the list.

Of course, exactly what I feared happened, namely that I could have nominated books, that I really like, but of which I wasn't aware their authors were Canadian. 😯 None of it is the fault of Canadian booktubers like you, who are all talking a lot about literature from Canada, but my own fault watching so much English speaking booktube, that everything becomes a bit of a blurr in my mind. We need a re-vote at a certain point! 😂 Also so many interesting new titles to me to explore, although some of them might be hard to find over here in Europe.
