This is true. And I would still argue to this day GoT was the best character dialog put onto a TV screen in my lifetime. That is until the absolute unforgivable abomination that was everything past season 6.

Bran being thrown out of the tower was a very shocking moment. Fortunately, the show never went to such level of violences again after this.

this is probably one of the best pilots of a series ever. So many characters and locations introduced in such a fantastic and memorable way.
This is actually pilot 2.0. The first pilot was apparently so bad that HBO almost totally rejected the show. Luckily, they saw enough in it to spend more money to rewrite and reshoot about 75% of it, including totally recasting some of the major characters, particularly Danerys and Catelyn Stark. But, you're totally right about how great it is.
@@heyheyjk-la It's out there... We'll see it some day. But not while there's still money to make from spinoffs and at least a couple of new re-releases of the original series on future formats. But one day, when they stop taking it so seriously, they'll be okay with sticking it among the bonus features.
They know no matter how bad it is, they'd get a big audience, just out of curiosity. The reason they don't release it, is that they think it will impact the popularity of the actual show and its spinoffs.
That's the only reason I can think of. Unless there's some contract shit. Like releasing it would mean having to pay more to people who were only in the first pilot. Likeness rights and shit like that, maybe. Then it might not be worth it for what would only be a bonus feature. But I bet if they scheduled it on HBO one night, it would draw a huge audience

"You got fat!" (laugh) (laugh) That little interaction gives you such a good feel for their relationship and history. Not all the details, but you get what you need at that moment.

I love Game of the Porcelain Throne.
They actually built the set for Winterfell (in Nothern Ireland). It looks like a castle because they sort of build a "castle" for set. Ofc, it is still a set, so it is make belief, but you watch behind the scenes it is actually insane what they built.

Well, one per day would be actually great. Cause now it looks more like it is gonna be one per week. They want to tease you so you would go and pay for patron.
Jaime Lannister in the Kingsguard armor looks like he walked straight out of Final Fantasy Tactics.
The performances and casting are A1. Ned stark is the brooding guy and Robert baratheon is the charming transperant jolly fellow and each portray their personality very well.
All Game of Thrones Reactions videos start with laugh in first season and end with depression in last season
If you noticed some characters changing appearance between scenes (like Tyrion's hair color), it's because they filmed an original version of the pilot that turned out to be an epic failure. They re-shot but kept the few salvageable scenes.
I'd love to see the "medieval Dolly Parton" look that Lena Headey, who played Cersei, said she had in that version.
Watching fantasy fans and non-fantasy fans react to this show is so different it's hilarious, and I love both. Just starting the reaction, heard the intro and came to comment. Looking forward to this reaction!

Even though the series ended abysmally, it's absolutely worth it too watch as the first 4 seasons are some of the best ever put on the screen.

@@gunkulator1 I watched them when it 1st came out. Just the other day I subscribed to watch it again. There was a lot I missed the 1st time around. Who was who & why they did this or that.
Pay attention to the intro, the map it shows varies each time and gives you an idea where events in the episode are. You may find it very useful to get a copy of the map.

Game of Thrones is one of the best ever tv series in my opinion each episode looks like a mini movie .Its a lot more brutal and violent than your typical fantasy series or movie.
Youre gonna love this. Pay attention to whos who because theres alot of them.

Okay fine! I think I'm hooked on going on yet another GoT-reaction journey! (probably seen 10 already).
...but this one has the potential to be quite different...
This is actually the perfect setup for a blind reaction video series. We all want to see people's first time reactions to this fantastic show (at least it was until the last couple of seasons), because we all remember how we used to feel when we saw it the first time. Here, it's back-edited, so basically that means (hopefully) that we, as viewers, still get first time reactions, but with the added advantage of having it edited by people (Maplenuts React) who have already seen the whole show.
Why is this good? Well it means that what we, as viewers, are left with is all the scenes that actually caries true significance to the overall story, or has some relevance, in terms of character-development, to the characters within it, or just plain important information of any kind (because they now - as they edit it - know where its going), AND at the same time we still get to experience their original first time reactions to it!!
I cannot think of a better setup for a reaction video than that!

We're Canadian, winter is always coming, lol. The direwolves are also Canadian.
They were also in North America until about 4,000-10, 000 yrs ago. If u ever watch Paranormal Caught On Camera or Slapped Ham, they supposedly have footage of a lone Dire Wolf going after a medium sized dog. Forgot where the footage was from.

Definitely keep track of which animal represents which house. There’s a lot of hidden foreshadowing happening in the dialogue and in plain sight.

Subscribing because of this. I only ask that you keep them regular, not milk the releases like some reactors do.
Given that they have 4 seasons recorded already I assume the only delay would be editing. Maybe they'll release them a little extra fast until they are nearly caught up with the Patreon schedule and then we'll have to suffer the letdown of slower releases thereafter :P
Some GoT reactors just really milk the release schedule to spread out the effect.
Originally, Tamsin Merchant (Catherine Howard in the Tudor's) was cast as Dannarys. They recast the role with Emilia Clarke.

I was not planning on revisiting Game of Thrones anytime soon but this does seem like as good a reason as any haha, and I just finished a few other reactions to series... Lookin forward to some great acting, cool effects, and as the show continues, scene writing veering wildly back and forth between brilliant and facepalming, and increasingly shaky story writing :P

I love this show but I swore I will not watch another reactor if they don’t do multiple releases weekly the show is simply too long. Check out how Natalie Gold released her videos of GOT including 3 episodes per release.
A word of warning: do not watch Season 8. Skip it. Avoid it. You will just be angry if you do.
