I swapped to Ironwill single bevel 125s this year. Absolutely love em! I've shot through 2 does and an armadillo with the same head. The first doe was shot through both shoulders an she made it 40 yards, the second doe was right under my tree and I shot her down through the spine and heart, she died about 10 yards from the tree after about 20 seconds. Other than some edge roll the head still looks brand new after re-sharpening.
I shot a big 8 pointer thru the heart and out the opposite side leg bone. Blew right thru with a 470gr arrow and a 125 iron will solid double bevel. I was amazed it passed thru the leg bone so easily.
I had a feelin this would be the results! Heck yeah boys! First day of muzzleloader in NH tomorrow. I'll be out for the next four days. I'll probably take a doe with my bow tomorrow though. They comin in strong. Good luck boys!
At some point before 80#, the screws start failing. They'll wiggle loose on a marginal hit. And I've sheared one screw off completely, ruining the ferrule, when a field point hit right next to it. The blades are just fine. I need a better attachment method.
In real life I don’t think that first shot would have deflected on a live animal. That scap is held in place by muscle and everything else. I think it would have busted it on a live animal. Thanks for the testing as a new sub.
Almost impossible to recreate a live shoulder shot but this will do the job we’ve learned a lot from this so far Pumped to hear you subbed we got tons of testing on the channel!
Y’all should try and test the crimson talon croc 125 or 150. I used iron wills the passed couple years and been very pleased but wanted to try the croc this year! Hope to see it in a test this year 🫶🏻

They are worth the price for sure!

Now that is what we like to hear!!!
IW broadheads are the real deal. Awesome testing.
They are indeed!
If you could, I’d love to see a 150 grain tiff head evolution go through a shoulder, might ease my mind about using them lol
I have no doubts it’s blow right through once I find mine I’ll do it lol

I bet the crimson talon single bevel will too and for 75% less
It very well could! I’ll have to snag one for testing!
