I uses to collect flowers and stamps years ago. I still have an Autumn maple leaf in my Bible from 1998 lol. I can't help looking at this Gorgeous Gorgeous master pieces of "HANDCRAFTED " Beautiful Word..
These are absolutely gorgeous! I didn’t even know you could get matte laminating pouches 😊 I like both styles and I really like the tea bag idea and don’t mind the border💖
Absolutely great idea with the laminating. On my walks with Polo, I have collected some beautifully coloured leaves Watch out laminator, here I come. Thank you Nina xx
I love these ideas and plan to try this myself! It’s almost Christmas in Utah and I think my family and friends will love something like this. You could do book marks also. Thank-you
Thank you again, Nina! Years ago I tried this very same thing, only w the shiny clear laminate. I had an awful time w my flowers jamming, buckling, puckering. I thought it was just because the flowers were too dimensional. I did, however have a few turn out well. It never occurred to me to use a thicker laminate, since I believed thickness to be the problem. How ABSOLUTELY LOVELY! I MUCH prefer the matte finish as well! Since watching you I’ve learned so much... many ideas have stemmed from what I once started and you have perfected. So happily, I have all the bits and pieces necessary to continue.
How i wish I could send you my roses to laminate and do this craft. I know I am going to ruin this process, but I will try it. My roses were a last memory of my grandmother, who just passed, this past week. You did an amazing job, thanks for sharing this video.
Hi Nina. These are absolutely gorgeous 💕 and I wanted to do these myself as soon as I completed the video. I also ordered laminator and pouches but couldn't find the matte ones, could you pls be so kind to share the Amazon link with me, I'll check if I can get in India. Thank you so much for sharing your art.
Hi Shivani, thanks so much for your kind comment. Here is the Amazon link: Deskit Laminating Pouches, A4 Matt, 250 Microns, 30 per Pack. Create Clear and Durable Posters with a Modern Finish - Extra-Strong for Long-Lasting Documents. amzn.eu/d/fIVf1UQ
Love the look of the matt pouches Nina .. such a great way to keep and preserve pressed flowers . The tags are outstanding . Love the Snow drops . Thank you as always for sharing . xx
I admire people with awesome crafting tools but more importantly the imagination to turn ordinary items into art. Well done! Thank you for the inspiration.
I also did not know you could get matte laminating pouches. I love the idea of gromets. I enjoyed your video very much!! I have thousands of flowers from putting them in stained glass, alas I can't bend and solder anymore..so this will be exceedingly FUN. Postage has risen AGAIN and is very expensive, I'll have more cards than I can ever send thought.
Thank you for teaching us all the tips you have there very beautiful Now I know what to do with my dried flowers I made last year I really don’t want to waste them so I’m glad I found you have a blessed day stay safe until then
Thank you so much Nina, I really really enjoyed watching you create these stunning and gorgeous tags, and the flowers are stunning too. I really must agree the Matt pouches are far better to use, and look much more professional. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags.
Absolutely Stunning! What an awesome Tutorial, love your Wonderful Work. God is such an Awesome God, He shows the Beauty from within Us only if we Aloud it to come out and all that Beauty is right from within you. Thank you so much Nina for a Wonderful Tutorial......Blessings 🙏❤🌹
For easy corners for the window card, use your crocodile hole punch at each inside corner, then I cut up to each hole. It's also a good way to cut slots too.😀 The tall pieces would make great book marks. Thanks 4 shareing
The snowdrops are very pretty, love that the colours show up so well in others. I like the matte too altho I didn't think I would. They certainly are a memory keeper, bookmarks are a good idea too. Have a great day.
Love this idea, and the beautiful results! You might try to put a tissue paper around the edge while sewing, so the feeddogs do not touch the laminate. Have a wonderful Sunday!
I really thought I could get along without a laminator, and then I watched this video... so, as Mother's Day is in May, I need to start dropping hints to my children starting now... thanks, Nina, for sharing this beautiful idea...
Haha, there is always one more tool we need to in our arsenal isn’t there. At least the rest of the family might find this of benefit from time to time too ❤️
I haven’t been able to find Matte Laminating pouches anywhere! :( These are just beautiful! Any idea where I can find them? Or why they don’t have them anywhere?
Hi Melina, here is the link to the ones I have. Hope this helps: www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07F1FXF19/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_W3WXS8FQ9W0T6NWB6S1J?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
These are absolutely gorgeous! I’ve never thought to dry snowdrops! Love them!.I do like the thicker laminating sheets on these.I have the thinner stuff and didn’t like when I tried in the past.X
Thanks Lynda, the snowdrops are gorgeous are’t they. The thicker laminating pouches are so much better and my machines have no issues with sealing them 💕 x
Great video, clear description and good ideas. I rather like the thinner laminates sheets as well, they instantly reminded me of a sort of fused glass picture, thank you for posting.
Love these laminated pressed flowers. You seem to keep the colour well so I'll look at your other video to see how you did it. Thankyou for sharing your ideas
I like the matte finish better too. I have already got some of those Matt finish ones that I bought to do my serviettes with I just haven’t got any dried flowers I will have to look at your video on how to do some there are plenty of daisies in my grass. I would use those long ones with snowdrops in as bookmarks for those of us who still read real books. Love the whole project thanks Nina
Daisies look wonderful when pressed as they are so delicate. It takes minutes to dry them with an iron and you can also dry flowers in the microwave, but you have to be careful not to burn them. Glad you enjoyed this project ❤️
Hi Nina! I definitely like the matte finish and I actually love the tea bag ones. I think a great idea would be to put one of those beautiful snow drops in an envelope and mail it to me...😆😁😉 I just love all the wonderful ideas you an Kylie come up with. You two never disappoint! ❤♥️❤ I almost purchased a laminator this month but decided instead to go with the creative studio box for 3 months instead... 🙃 choices are so hard.
Hi Laura. Thanks so much as always for your lovely comment. The snowdrops are beautiful aren’t they. I think the teabag ones will look lovely in a window tag, so I will play around with those this week. I agree, too many supplies to choose from 😫❤️ xxx
amazing tutorial actually works ! i did this with some flowers that even though i dried them they were still a litttle thick and the plastic didnt stick in some spots. So i recommend using really thin flowers. But overall awesome
Gorgeous! Where did you get those matte lamination pouches? I tried the clear glossy one and got the same effect as you showed on the video :( Would love to try the matte one only if I could find it.
I have some golden poppies just waiting to be pressed. Then I will try using Scotch self-seal laminating pouches. Your work is beautiful as always Nina.
These are lovely. I'm inspired to make something like this for a cover on my seed collection book folder. Though i might laminate paper or drawing inside, I'm not sure. It is winter so I would have to wait for spring for flowers.
Beautiful Nina, I don't have a laminator yet but look forward to trying it on dried flowers. I agree with you about the matte pouch and the snow drops I love the snow drops but they don't grow here in Florida. Thanks Nina, have a wonderful week.
You can buy self sealing laminating pouches (cold press) for business cards (and larger sizes), so might be worth keeping an eye out in the $store to see if they have any. I’ve just been out in the garden to pick the rest of the snowdrops and some daffodils as they are starting to wilt now and I want to preserve them. Another press full of gorgeous spring flowers ❤️
These are just sooo much fun. I love them. I have lots of dried plants and did not know how to use them without tearing them up. I do not have a laminator so I will have to come up with an alternative. Thanks.
Thanks Marsha. You can buy self seal laminating pouches, so that might be an option. I still love preserving dried flowers with a layer of white napkin, a bit more time consuming, but the look is beautiful ❤️

@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia Thanks, I will keep an eye out for them.
Thanks for reminding me of that method. I have a pressed rose that dried beautifully. I will try that. ☺️
Very nice project, Nina. Just lovely.
