Beautiful idea, thank you for sharing ❤️
I love these Nina! Now I want a laminator lol. I love the matt ones too. The snowdrops would make such pretty book marks. Great video thank you x
Thanks so much, I’m very happy with these. So, so pretty 💕
Absolutely great idea with the laminating. On my walks with Polo, I have collected some beautifully coloured leaves Watch out laminator, here I come. Thank you Nina xx
It really is a great, quick and easy way to preserve them. Enjoy 💕 xx
Awesome ideas love ur diys
Love the look of the matt pouches Nina .. such a great way to keep and preserve pressed flowers . The tags are outstanding . Love the Snow drops . Thank you as always for sharing . xx
Thanks so much Kay. I’m very happy with these 💕
These are beautiful
Thank you 💕🌸🌺🌸
For easy corners for the window card, use your crocodile hole punch at each inside corner, then I cut up to each hole. It's also a good way to cut slots too.😀 The tall pieces would make great book marks. Thanks 4 shareing
Stunning. I need to buy matte laminating sheets 😁
Très réussies ces étiquettes cartonnées avec le plastique mat.
These are absolutely gorgeous! I didn’t even know you could get matte laminating pouches 😊 I like both styles and I really like the tea bag idea and don’t mind the border💖
I also liked the border the tea bags left.
Thanks Martha, I must admit it’s grown on me 💕
Hi Nina, hope you are well 🙂. Another great idea for using dried flowers.Thank you 👋
Hi Wilma, al, is well here thank you.glad you enjoyed the video and I hope all is well with you too ❤️
Beautiful ❤
Thank you!
Love the matte and the use of tea bags. Wonderful idea. Had no idea a laminator is available for home use. Thanks Nina
They are very inexpensive here in the U.K. and a great tool to have around the home 💕
Beautiful flowers. I think you could use the longer tags as a bookmark. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Laura, I think they’d make fabulous bookmarks 💕
Thank you for a very concise and informative video. It has been very helpful in encouraging my embracing this art form.
Glad this video was helpful Carol. Happy Creating 💕
oh, i love dried flowers! great ideas, Nina!

They are so beautiful and will look lovely in your journals!❤️
Thanks Lainey, I’m very pleased with these ❤️
These are stunning.
Thank you so much 💕
Thank you.🌼
You are welcome 😊
These are just beautiful!!!
Thanks Robynn 💕
Beautiful Nina, I don't have a laminator yet but look forward to trying it on dried flowers. I agree with you about the matte pouch and the snow drops I love the snow drops but they don't grow here in Florida. Thanks Nina, have a wonderful week.
You can buy self sealing laminating pouches (cold press) for business cards (and larger sizes), so might be worth keeping an eye out in the $store to see if they have any. I’ve just been out in the garden to pick the rest of the snowdrops and some daffodils as they are starting to wilt now and I want to preserve them. Another press full of gorgeous spring flowers ❤️
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia Thanks, I will keep an eye out for them.
Ok now I have ordered Matt pouches lol. Love yours , so so pretty and the Matt looks so much better. Another great video , love them. Tfs have a lovely week , hugs xx
Haha. I am such a bad influence 😬. They look so much nicer though don’t they. Hope you have a lovely week too. Hugs 💕 xx
I uses to collect flowers and stamps years ago.
I still have an Autumn maple leaf in my Bible from 1998 lol.
I can't help looking at this Gorgeous Gorgeous master pieces of "HANDCRAFTED " Beautiful Word..
Hi Nina. These are absolutely gorgeous 💕 and I wanted to do these myself as soon as I completed the video. I also ordered laminator and pouches but couldn't find the matte ones, could you pls be so kind to share the Amazon link with me, I'll check if I can get in India. Thank you so much for sharing your art.

They are a wonderful resource for the craft room. Happy Creating 💕
These are really lovely ideas! Thank you :)
Thank you so much and glad you like them 💕
I love this! Thank you so much for sharing this epic knowledge! I have two questions if you could help me with this. Do you have a link for getting the Matte laminating for shipping online? I can’t find it anywhere. Also, do you know if those laminate sheets are eco friendly? Thank you so much! You are epic
Oops, please ignore my previous message as included the wrong link. Here is the link to the pouches I used, although I don’t know if they are eco friendly. www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07F1FXF19/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_T324N2QEPYSJX18TMP66
Wowwwww🤩🤩🤩
Thank you so much ❤️
I absolutely love this idea! 😍 With your permission, I’d love to try this on my channel and of course include a link to this video. TFS!

Thank you so much!! 💕
Amazing gorgeous video! Very informative, and your art is so beautiful! Thank you 🌸🌻
Thank you again, Nina! Years ago I tried this very same thing, only w the shiny clear laminate. I had an awful time w my flowers jamming, buckling, puckering. I thought it was just because the flowers were too dimensional. I did, however have a few turn out well.
It never occurred to me to use a thicker laminate, since I believed thickness to be the problem.
How ABSOLUTELY LOVELY! I MUCH prefer the matte finish as well! Since watching you I’ve learned so much... many ideas have stemmed from what I once started and you have perfected. So happily, I have all the bits and pieces necessary to continue.
the longer ones you could cut close to the flower and make them bookmarks. i don't think they'd be too big. :)
Thanks Levi, I agree and think they’d make lovely bookmarks 💕
I cant find 250micron matt pouches. Theyre sold out in amazon and the deskit website. Will a lower micron work for these? 150 maybe?
They probably will as long as you use very flat dried flowers. Thicker flowers will probably cause your project to buckle. Hope that helps 🌸
@NinaRibenaMixedMedia thank you for the reply a d suggestion. Will give it a go 🙂🙂😊
Thanks.Great tips and ideas.They turned out well.🥰🌺🌺
Glad they were helpful 🌸🌸🌸
Is there a specific name for the matte finish laminating papers I need to buy? And is there a specific style of laminating machine i need for them? Like I saw 3mil vs 5 mil or the different micron . Is there a difference or preference?
So so pretty!!! Great inventive ideas. Thank you for sharing!!!
Glad you like them!
I haven’t been able to find Matte Laminating pouches anywhere! :(
These are just beautiful! Any idea where I can find them? Or why they don’t have them anywhere?

Can you put fresh flowers in the pouch do you think ? They are beautiful tags ❤️
You would definitely need to dry them first or they would go mouldy 🌸
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia ok thank you 🙏 will be having a try at these ❤️
Gorgeous! Where did you get those matte lamination pouches? I tried the clear glossy one and got the same effect as you showed on the video :( Would love to try the matte one only if I could find it.
Here’s the link to the ones I used: www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07F1FXF19/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_ZJFMPFXPK7GBJZWXDVFE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I love these ideas and plan to try this myself! It’s almost Christmas in Utah and I think my family and friends will love something like this. You could do book marks also. Thank-you
I’m so pleased to know that there are matte finished laminating sheets!!! I really like how your dried and laminated flowers turned out. Thanks, Nina.
Thanks Cheryl. The matte pouches make a big difference to the look 💕
Fabulous!!! I LOVE this and really appreciate your sharing with us! Janet 🌺👍💖
Those snow drops would make lovely bookmarks. Thanks for sharing Nina! This is a lovely project.
Thanks Janet, glad you enjoyed it. I agree with you about the snowdrops 💕
Hi love your videos. You are quite talented. I cannot locate the exact laminator pouches on Amazon. Could you help.
Hi Katrina, the ones I have are Deskit 250 micron matte laminating pouches. It looks as though they are out of stock on Amazon and they only have the gloss ones. Here are some by another brand: presco.uk/collections/laminating-pouches/products/matt-laminating-pouches?variant=39280683811007. I hope this helps 💕
Love this idea, and the beautiful results! You might try to put a tissue paper around the edge while sewing, so the feeddogs do not touch the laminate. Have a wonderful Sunday!
Oooh , that’s a great tip. Thank you ❤️
Absolutely Stunning!
What an awesome Tutorial, love your Wonderful Work. God is such an Awesome God, He shows the Beauty from within Us only if we Aloud it to come out and all that Beauty is right from within you.

@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia: Thank You . Yes my heart speaks whats my eyes sees!
Thank you so much Nina, I really really enjoyed watching you create these stunning and gorgeous tags, and the flowers are stunning too. I really must agree the Matt pouches are far better to use, and look much more professional. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags.
Thanks so much Mags. It’s a much nicer finish for these gorgeous flowers isn’t it. Have a wonderful week ❤️ xxxxx
Wowwww absolutely gorgeous ♥️♥️ watching this vdo from Thailand 😀
Hello to you in Thailand. Thanks so much for watching ❤️
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia You're welcome. ♥️ I used to live in Lewisham, South London.
Hi Nina! I definitely like the matte finish and I actually love the tea bag ones. I think a great idea would be to put one of those beautiful snow drops in an envelope and mail it to me...😆😁😉
I just love all the wonderful ideas you an Kylie come up with. You two never disappoint! ❤♥️❤
I almost purchased a laminator this month but decided instead to go with the creative studio box for 3 months instead... 🙃 choices are so hard.
Hi Laura. Thanks so much as always for your lovely comment. The snowdrops are beautiful aren’t they. I think the teabag ones will look lovely in a window tag, so I will play around with those this week. I agree, too many supplies to choose from 😫❤️ xxx
Beautiful. Can you show us how you sewed the edges?
Stunning. Do you have a tutorial on how you dry your flowers. Thank you 🌻
Thanks so much Manuela. I prefer to dry my flowers the old fashioned way, either between stacks of heavy books or in a traditional flower press. I have however had great instant results drying with an iron: ruclips.net/video/u9Ig0X7Sp3U/видео.html
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia thank you! Ironing well it has never crossed my mind to do that. But I'm going to give that a go.
Your dried flowers look so pristine hope I can do my dried flowers justice 😬 thank you for responding and sharing your beautiful crafts. Greetings from London 🇬🇧🙏🐈🌻
Stunning! What a fabulous idea. Thank you for sharing. Love the matte finish.
Love this! What kind of laminating she should i get to replicate this? Thank you!!!
You want any brand of matte laminating sheets.
These are absolutely gorgeous! I’ve never thought to dry snowdrops! Love them!.I do like the thicker laminating sheets on these.I have the thinner stuff and didn’t like when I tried in the past.X
Thanks Lynda, the snowdrops are gorgeous are’t they. The thicker laminating pouches are so much better and my machines have no issues with sealing them 💕 x
What a stunning little flower those first ones are....I'm old I forgot the name already. Lol. Oooo oooo, was it snowdrops? Lol I think I actually recalled the name
Yes snowdrops. They are such pretty flowers 💕
Thank you for wonderful ideas. Help needed. I cannot find matte sheets or pockets.
Hi Connie, the Deskit brand doesn’t seem to be available in Matt, but here is what I found (I searched 250 micron Matt laminating pouches)
www.euroffice.co.uk//product/q-connect-matt-a4-laminating-pouch-250-micron-(pack-of-100)---kf24055/aff645?AFF=LIAFF645&Asdf5Vil-dc_slid__productid_AFF645_ptaid_pla-945218428515&cq_src=google_ads&cq_cmp=10906445424&cq_term=&cq_plac=&cq_net=g&cq_plt=gp&s_tg=pla-945218428515&_$ja=acid%3a874-847-2214%7ccid%3a10906445424%7cagid%3a106203571326%7ctid%3apla-945218428515%7ccrid%3a459549189049%7cnw%3ag%7crnd%3a17411400145946919446%7cdvc%3ac%7cadp%3a%7cmt%3a%7cloc%3a9045569&gclid=CjwKCAjwuqiiBhBtEiwATgvixGc0IaFdtORSTFIg3eRsf_Ayj9ICpA1fO7rAvKqxejvC5HnLnt1GyhoC1IUQAvD_BwE&s=1
can we laminate them by going in a stationary is it possible for them to laminate
I would imagine most stationery stores would have a laminator and would do this for you, although they are very inexpensive to purchase if you think you would get some use out of it.
Do you think if you used a thicker clear laminating sheet you would have a better look?
I definitely think so, yes 💕
Great idea. Could you tell me what laminator u used (and where I can get it) and the type of paper for it to laminate those dried flowers? Did you microwave those flowers to dry them? Those are lovely.
Hi Nanette, I dried the flowers I. A traditional flower press, but You can dry them in the microwave if you wish. I have also had great results drying flowers instantly by ironing between two pieces of parchment paper. The laminator I used was a cheap A4 one from Amazon. They all do the same thing. I used Deskit matte laminating pouches (250 microns) which I also purchased from Amazon.
Hi, do you have any video about drying the flowers beautifully like yours please?
Here’s the link to my dried flower playlist. If you scroll through it you’ll find lots of methods for drying and preserving flowers: ruclips.net/p/PLa4DmufZajsb11MZ2LZeSYA5GFh4gLR-8&feature=shared
I tried this last year but my laminator just crumpled the sheets because the sandwich presumably was too thick, any ideas?
Some of the flowers I used were quite bulky, especially the ones on the teabags, and I had no problem with crumpling using the thicker 250 micron matte laminating pouch, although I did have to pass it through the machine a few times in order for it to stick properly. Your problem could be because the laminating sheet you used was too thin? The 80 micron clear sheet I used for the buttercups came out slightly crumpled. My machine states to use max 80 micron pouches, but the 250 ones stuck fine and had no problem going through the machine. I hope that helps 💕
I have an large amount of dried flowers and I never know what to do with them but I keep drying more. so I have come for help and you have delivered lol
That’s lovely to hear. I hope you will enjoy using them ❤️🌸🌸🌸
Hi Nina.. May i know did you use the hot laminate or cold laminate for the matte laminating pouches?
I used a hot laminator.
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia thank you for the kindness.. 🌸 The results are so lovely.. ❤️
@nuraqeelashakeeracherosli2368 You’re very welcome and thank you so much for your kind words 🌸
I also did not know you could get matte laminating pouches. I love the idea of gromets. I enjoyed your video very much!! I have thousands of flowers from putting them in stained glass, alas I can't bend and solder anymore..so this will be exceedingly FUN. Postage has risen AGAIN and is very expensive, I'll have more cards than I can ever send thought.
Oh,l LOVE them...........l have to go now and treat myself to a laminater 😆😆😆 deffo prefer the matt 👌.......thankyou so much again xxxx
Thanks so much Isobel. They are fairly inexpensive and very useful to have in your stash 💕

Good Morning Nina,
It's a rainy Virginia day and it's our 4th Saturday in a row of rain. I worked longer hours at my job this past week and I am super tired. I haven't even perked my pot of coffee in the stove yet. Unpacking a box this past week I found a beautiful bookmark made from my aunt in 2013 using flowers from her yard in the town I grew up in. I haven't my own yard anymore to pick flowers from. But my Dad has beautiful flowers in his yard. My aunt used some kind of hazy as I call it packing tape or wax paper and every time I wrote her a letter or asked her on the phone how did she make it she said she would get back to me. I think she didn't want me to know her secret. I am currently renting an apartment that is registered with the historic society and nails are not allowed to be used only command strips and I want to hang some little pieces of art work up and I love nature. I have actually found a nice curvy stick on a walk recently I saved to suspend it from my curtain rod using fishing line and I have collected little acorns and small pine cones, the tan pods my Dad called as helicopters when he was a little boy in England and I am going to hang those from the stick. But, all week I have been wanting to make cards to hang using my aunt's method. I googled for RUclips videos and so many I watched today took me no where. I sat here thinking which crafter do I follow that might know that I can direct message to on Instagram. All of a sudden I thought of you as number 1 and I do not have to go any further. 🥰 I googled Nina Rabina transparent floral pressing sheets and I found this video. I loved the video and I got so excited as I just purchased in Dec as a gift to myself a die cut hand crank machine for my stationary making. Nina, think of this idea!
What if you have a thinner type of laminate but not the clear as you say it's not as great but, laminate the flowers, put a die cutting disk over it, crank it threw. Imagine how cool it may look to attach to stationary or using your crockadile and brads and making mini ornaments for your windows or for a Christmas tree. I am so excited I found your video. It's exactly what I was looking for. Also when you were talking about your laminate sheets I was wondering if the clear contact paper would work on flowers and put another sheet over the flowers and die cut those out. Have you used contact paper much? I have never used it but I know you can buy it in a roll or as 8X11 sheets for lining drawers. The book that came with the purchase of my die cut machine came separate and the private seller of the machine out the book in a glossy mailing envelope with lemons on it. I have saved it as I wondered if I could decoupage with the lemons and the flowers cut out very intricately. I do not throw lots away I put the envelope in a drawer. But, I am thinking about framing the one side of the envelope to hang in the summer for a pop of color in my kitchen. I think the Dollar Tree has light weight white frames and with the navy background and the bright yellow lemons and the white and pink flowers that would look so pretty.
Sorry for once again sending a novel and I am trying to catch the typos. My cell phone is very old and the keys are starting to go bad. You have made this flower video I believe 4 years ago I wonder if you still recv notifications on the comments.
I hope you have been feeling well after your illness. My Dad hasn't been well but I still see him often and my new flat is within walking distance to his house and I live in a precious little town with neat little shops and one shop has a very nice art supply area and just recently they started selling small scraps of fabric that one of the family members brings in from her sewing projects. I have made nice pot holders with some of the scraps. An elderly man on the lower level knows I sew and asked me one day what am I working on now so I said pot holders for a craft sale. He said he needs pot holders really bad so I dig thru my stash and found a piece with soccer balls on it and international flags. His countries flag is on the fabric so that was a nice surprise for him.
Have a great afternoon as I believe your 5 hours ahead.
Love always,
Rebekah
Very beautiful creations. Lovely ideas. Thank you
Thank you very pretty
How i wish I could send you my roses to laminate and do this craft. I know I am going to ruin this process, but I will try it. My roses were a last memory of my grandmother, who just passed, this past week.
You did an amazing job, thanks for sharing this video.
May I ask how you dried your snowdrops so they didn't go brown?
I pressed them in a traditional flower press. They need to be pressed whilst they are relatively fresh 💕
Are they used tea bag then dried out? How to get them to be so brown? Thanks !
Yes they are.
Push pin in 4 corners then use straight edge. Clean corner trick
Great idea, thank you 💕
I really like the matt finish, they are just lovely. Maybe if you have some thicker clear pouches it might work better.. Might be worth a try as I did like them such a shame they buckled like that 😂😁💖 must get cracking on doing some xx😀😀
Thanks Elaine. I was so convinced that thicker clear pouches would work that I ordered some in business card size to try. Haven’t got around to it yet, but will let you know if successful or not 💕 x
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia OK that's cool... My laminator is buried and I haven't used it for so long... Might need to unearth it and have a play some time... 😁😁💖
I like the matte sheets better. But Walmart only has the clear.
I purchased mine from Amazon. Hope you find some!
May I ask what kind if laminate paper you use?
Hi Terry. I used the Deskit 250 micron Matt pouches. I hope that helps 💕
Hello, love the way the pouches came out wirh both laminating papers. However, the thicker ones do look especially great. I looked up "thick laminating paper." Can you please share what brand, micron size, and type of paper you purchased? When I did a search U found 80, 175 micron, etc. Thanks in advance!
Hello Irma, apologies for the late reply. Here is the link to the ones I use: Deskit Laminating Pouches, A4 Matt, 250 Microns, 30 per Pack. Create Clear and Durable Posters with a Modern Finish - Extra-Strong for Long-Lasting Documents. amzn.eu/d/jkQrRTX

Put a sheet of silkpaper between the pouch qnd the fot of the seewingmaschien and you have no scraches.
Thanks for the great tip 💕
Plz I need your answer. If we don't have the tool you used to press them what can we use instead and get good result?
What is the name of the plastic u used?
And the name of the brown paper?
Hello Bir. You can purchase ‘self adhesive laminating pouches’ that don’t require a laminator. The brown paper is called Kraft Card Stock and mine was 250gsm in weight. I hope that helps 💕
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia thank you so much. I'll ask the shops if they have them.🤍❤
These are stunning! Such a great idea!
The little tags would look beautiful attached to wedding favours or as a bookmark for a friend 🌷
Would I be correct in assuming you would only fit more dainty flowers through the laminator?
Hi Katy, the flatter the flowers, the better, or the laminated pieces will be bumpy 🌸
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia thank you 😊
Absolutely Gorgeous! The Snow Drops really spoke to me..Thank you and Have a Beautiful Blessed Day!

Can you use a craft iron rather than a laminator?
I’m not sure as I’ve never tried it, but only one way to find out. Happy Creating 💕

Does the color stay as is?
Hi Suraj, it should do if you are using it in a journal, although I’m not so sure if it’s exposed to sunlight. Hope that helps 💕

How todry flowers in very easy way?
I’m not sure I understand your question?
thank you this is what I needed for my dried flowers.

Can we laminate crochet flowers? Sometimes they are 2 mm.
They would probably be too bulky as you need something quite flat. Tatting might work?
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia We sell crochet products actually but using this lamination I may create another sub bookmark category. Thinner cotton thread would be close to the tatting. I will also try resin.
Just lovely and I think they make beautiful gifts for friends and book groups or anyone who enjoys reading.
