Clearly & obviously that rosewood one was the best one, 2nd place goes to Acacia [in Persian we call it Aghaghia!] your nice smooth touch and play aside, the divine sound of rose, comes from heaven so that is somehow magical ...
I’m biased in favour of the Brazilian Rosewood, as that’s the one I bought from SUS, but I have to admit the Cypress/Rosewood and Jumbo Acacia sound amazing.
Amazing ukuleles! I especially like the sound of the Cypress and cedar tops with the slotted headstocks. Millars are great ukes. I love to play my Phil Doleman Signature soprano.
I got the jumbo acacia from you a few months ago, I love love love it, great for classical in particular (I went for low G). Thanks for the demos, really interesting to hear the different tones,
Nice one guys! Great to see Phil front and centre for a change. 😀 The two you picked out were definitely winners for me but if I was buying one I'd go for the cypress. Sounds incredible! Just wish these Millers had a slightly wider neck width/string spacing. But then my bank account is probably glad they don't.... 😜
Hmm how does Alex get a break if he is stationed behind the camera? You both have a “ feel” for the instrument which is very apparent in the way Phil plays these. It brings out the best in them,
None of them.. They all look dull ... Not very happy instruments for some reason. Ukulele as the happiest instrument on the planet, these are disappointing xD
For me the rosewood the 1st that you played has suck a beautiful voice, so full, so round, really in love with the voice of the ukulele
I love the sound of the cypress! I agree - don’t put it down!
Cypress sounds wonderful, yep that's my favourite.
I am really astonished 😲 at the sheer versatily of the cypressa .
I already knew I liked the Cedar , but I have a new favourite .
I have custom made all maple Millar, fantastic tone.
Thanks Phill, didn’t expect to hear the difference between Cyprus top and cedar. The Cyprus has it for me. Great ukes thanks for the display.
Love the look of these Millar Ukes, with that binding. if I had to pick one, I think the CD-260W Red Cedar & Bolivian Rosewood would get my vote.
The acacia jumbo is on a league of its own, but the cypress/rosewood tone range was quite a surprise.
hey! you're not Alex! (he's doing a brilliant job on his private channel ;-)). Nice to see you do this Phil! Nice playing and nice ukes!
The Cypress and/or the Jumbo Acacia for me!

Honestly, I don't like the binding on these very much but the jumbo one is stunning!

Couldn't agree more!

Great to hear! We have only had half a dozen of the Millar Jumbos so far but they have impressed us possibly the most of all the Millars...
Great job Phil! Love your mad playing style!
They are all great sounding and look great.
Ooo that cypress! 😍
It sounds really good!!

Eric at Millar has just agreed to experiment with a wider nut on some models later this year.
@@SouthernUkuleleStore Holy crap, that's exciting! Time to get saving then! Thanks for letting me know 👍
Great job Phil! I liked the cyrpess best too, but could be because your enjoyment of it came through in your playing :D.
He definitely played that one like he liked it best... what a flirt.
@@SouthernUkuleleStore 🤣🤣🤣
These sound very good indeed!👍

Well spotted Jeff... I resented the implication I wasn't working when I still filmed and edited the video 😄
I prefer the TK 260 WG
The cypress.....by a country mile.....✌😎
💯💯💯
Hey Alex, you've gone significantly taller 😊
...He is like 2 inches taller than me haha
@@SouthernUkuleleStore haha, happy new year, and happy 10k subs 😊 looking forward to more ukulele content 😊

😆 Ok.
All lovely but that acacia jumbo is a beauty!
