Seeing this, I want to try something similar. My idea is to do a sarcophagus with the lid animated in a similar manner, but have a skeleton standing next to it, with its hands wired to the lid, so it looks like the lid is being shoved aside. I'll probably do a wiper motor though, to handle the extra stress.

Where did you find fence toppers for 3 cents each?

if you put too much stress on the motor it'll go backwards and really never do anything.

Is your base the same 2ft x 4ft as your lid/cover or did you use the center piece you cut out? Also how did you decide on motor placement is there a general area to place it to start.

Awesome idea, however, either hold your phone still and not move it so fast, or have someone else video you explaining what you are doing, Thank you,

Is the lid 2' wide or ? Just trying to get an overall sense of the size.

do you think the motor would have enough power to have this vertical?

Yes, The lid is the same dim as the osb board on the bottom. 2' x 4'.

And the wood pieces are what about 1 x 4? I was putting one together with 2 x 4's but it seems way to big and looking at yours seems you used a thinner board?

I used a 2ft by 4ft osb board for the bottom. And the 2in pink foam around the outside. I did not use any lumber. :)

FYI, you have inspired me with this one. I did much the same and it came out awesome! See it at ruclips.net/video/Pii6pb0gOsg/видео.html and know you lit that fire. Thanks. Cheers! BV
