Your videos really make me appreciate the work that goes into a custom handmade knife. Your price absolutely reflects that amount of skill!

Please tell me when not making videos, you wear protective gear. A leather apron, face mask, eye protection etc. I use a buffer that spins at much lower rpms. Sheffield knife sharpeners were paid more because they all died before 40 through inhaling dust.

Lbknife/lee passed way too young due to buffing accident….about the same time this video was made. Also a RUclips knife maker. Great guy. Always wear protective gear, even while making videos.

Why is it that people dont turn the bench grinder around so the wheel spins away from the person and not towards?

Wood finishing is an art, when it comes to curing times for a finish I let them set aside untill my death bed. ;)

Awesome video!! How did you add the spindle adapter on to your harbor freight buffer??? I have been trying to figure that one out because it would be so helpful for my sharpening business. Thank you!!!

When I try to buff my blades I use a black compound on my belt sander and buffing wheel combo it spins about 3400 RPMs but whenever I buff the knife it leaves like black smudges on it and it doesn’t make it shiny can you help me with that

sO i recommend to use a mask or something because that dust in your lungs and hearth are doing some damage... over time... but very very very nasty... so if you care about your third age... please... health first, God bless !

I hate to be that guy. But that was a belt sander you were using. Not a belt grinder. A belt grinder would ruin a polish.
