Captain easily could've won this game, but his passive nature was his downfall, as it allowed his enemies to grow, especially considering the others kept expanding.
As much as I liked that he played this game and made a risk video, it's just not a game he should play because he'd most likely never win if he does the same thing does here
He had the most troops and territories for a while too. The biggest powerhouse with the softest leader 😔
@@xavierwoodard5029 yeah. So sad 😔
So many troops deep inland just sitting
His passive game was ok, in fact he could have won the game in the round just before he got wiped, since you only need to take all capitals, and all capitals except for his had no defense, and there were paths of 1's that he could take to conquer all of them in one round.
This was a really good first game for Jardon! But he should know that alliances are meant to be broken, especially when his allies start getting aggressive, or he will fall into being their puppet.
it's just a game calm the fuck down
Let him play geez
@@AstronomicalJelly bro he’s just giving advice, you should calm down
@@AstronomicalJelly tf you on about
@@AstronomicalJelly You got anger issues? Or did you read way too many salty comments?
Imagine trying to win as a pacifist in a game where the main goal is to literally wage war on everyone else
Don't mind me having the 1st comment in this popular comment.
yes
haha, works for me a lot of the time!
You need to make Switzerland your capital for that to work. And, you know, have everyone's money in your vault.
Well the 2nd place was a passifist to Sparkles allie, so I mean it kinda works💀
I really like how "warning naughty words" was probably not intended to do this, but caused me to want to watch
I mean it did get way more views than the average video on this channel at this point, he usually gets like 9k-100k per video and this one has a lot more
After coming over from Tommy’s channel, that warning cracked me up cuz it’s like “woa!!! No, really??!?!”
It’s been a while since I’ve seen a kid friendly channel 😭😭

He’s too kind to wage war on other people

@@joemama-xg4qs hes not trying to tell us anything, hes just emphasizing the word.
accurate.
tommy is just poor he literally cant do anything
Why would you say they're instead of he's? 🤔
Ok so the issue is that the Captain is quite good at building up an army, but has too much of a conscience to use it
Imagine taking advantage over people's mistakes and calling it a bad move.
I like how the most powerful nations in this game are so passive and chill at the start while smaller nations are always trying to fight like a honey badger against god
The best advice for jordan is to ignore chat, it will take too long for them to educate his every move and ultimately wont be as effective as him making his own decisions
unus annus
@@aubriea7460 Memento Mori.
I agree, but Jordan just doesn't understand the game at this point. Therefore, he needs to get outside help, and chat, quite frankly, is a far more reliable and useful guide than the other players here.
If I wasn't clear, I think he has to make his own decisions, but Jordan can't because he doesn't know what is happening.
This accurately shows all of the different types of Risk players lmao
Jardon played this way too passively and allowed himself to be gaslit and manipulated...
Ahh well that was a lot if fun! Would love to see more
Every year my family plays Risk, and we take it suuuuper seriously. And it's the oldest version that we play o it, so all of the board is yellowed and aged, the pieces are little wooden cubes, and the cards are frayed and torn. But it's decades of love and strategy by brilliant minds playing each other, and it's so lovely. Seeing this where we can't be together to play again is so nice
We have a board like that, where we have a few countries that no longer exist
Only ten minutes in and Tommy repeatedly calling Ukraine France and the “it’s all the same at the end of the day innit?” has me
C R Y I N G
I love him and his humour sm oh my god
I found it hilarious when Wilbur took France after essentially giving Tommy multiple rounds to claim France himself
he was so whiny once he was iran, and he kept on making dumb jokes to keep the attention on him when everyone else left him behind
sameee.....
Today the French be like "Russia stop daddy"
But he shouldn't have said that Turkey is bullshit. İts a normal country. İt doesn't have any warcrimes etc.
I appreciate the style of Jordan and Ranboo here. It may not be the most effective in this game, but they have their standards, that they wouldn't just turn away from under pressure. If only politicians could be like that, not deceptive and aggressive, like so, so many in the real world.
Yeah, but who won in the end? The ones who doublecrossed... and it is the same in politics. A nasty environment that turns everyone into snakes, else they won't be successful.
And yet his wanting for peace was his downfall. Why be peaceful and truthful when you'll end up dead?
The two comments above me are a prime example of human nature, everyone
@@Passinggbee Maybe you should also learn to read and think about what you've read before spewing out disdain and quick judgements... in no way I endorsed that behaviour, unlike the following comment. I simply noticed how in some particular environments you should be more careful about blindly trusting people who ensures you they will do something swearing on their honor/similar, because they may not have it at all. It's useful life advice
@@raffaeledivora9517 again, prime example of humanity 👍
This is the most passive game of Risk I have ever witnessed.
Right? I cringed multiple times.
"Warning Naughty Words" well now i HAVE to watch it!
Meh I'm almost an adult and I don't like bad words but I still watch
We can only hope the captain will return to his old ways xD
Pretty much a guarantee that I'll watch. Everyone lost their minds when he swore in MCC (or said fork but didn't actually) and it was still a good time still.
@@JasonICECarson mm yes, I like to eat my food with a f**k. 😏
@@kittykittykitten1041 "don't like bad words" bruh how soft are you
Lesson for the future, defensive players loose, and troops in the middle of friendly territory are useless until you're on the defensive. Edit to say that apparently I'm wrong and having a few backing units is good, I feel like you took it to the extreme though
Nope and nope.
1. He had an almost free win in round before he got eliminated.
2. Defensive game with allies made him extremely strong for most of the game.
3. Having 3-6 units per land in the middle makes you a bad target for attacks, since the attacker would loose a lot of troops for very low gains.
@@hubertnnn true, true
While yes having a very strong border is important, if you don’t have a strong outer center you can be pierced easily
Defensive plays with little campaigns into neighboring territories is the best way to play.
@@hubertnnn nope and nope again. Troops sitting in a place that can't get attacked are useless. Always the front lines. He could have easily taken African early game and had 4 regions if he would have been more aggressive
Saying this for myself so I stop getting confused

Yellow: Wilbur
Orange: Sparkles

I barely watch the channel so I'm unfamiliar with 5/6 of them, but one of them, not Captain or Tommy, made a reference to Bill Wurtz around 37:40 and it makes my soul happy.
Ever since he swore in MCC he has started indulging in the demonetising words culture
Funniest thing is he actually said fork, it just sounded like the f bomb, or at least Im pretty sure he did

Blue showed his attachment to their alliance when he took western Australia.
Seeing Jordan repeatedly not use his new-guinnea, with 12 troops just standing there, to go on the offensive is so frustrating....!
I remember playing the physical version of risk and how me and my friends kept sending troops into Greenland like some grotesque idea of WW1
I don't know what he expected its a war game you have to fight eventually, waiting and giving up the first strike is just losing.
Yeah. The game will end with one person betraying another. You want to be the betrayer, not the betrayed. It has to happen eventually. Still, he put up a good fight.

Hey Captian Word of advice everyone else was leaving their capitals weak the whole point is to capture all the capitals you had a chance to hit through all the capitals around the 1 hour and 25 min mark. You could have taken the capital in southern Africa with a large army up through northern Africa through Europe and get both of thos capitals to Russia and get that one and with another army you could have hit Ranboo's Capital in north america, Easy win
And zero fun
@@mehedi1178 do you mean epic content?
Yeah, but he was too nice...
The last time that Jordan traded cards he could've literally won the game if he put all 65 troops in Siam, then fought his way to the Taymyr Peninsula, then to Ukraine, France and, finally, Congo. All this could have happened but his unwillingness to attack and break the alliance with sneeg held him back, along with maybe some obliviousness to the fact that capitals are all that matter (as soon as you get enough continents) in Capital Conquest.
Anyways, RISK gameplay with an entertaining group of people, is always great to see. Maybe just a tad more competence though.
I love the Captain but I know his passiveness will be his downfall.
It's so nice that you could all play together and have fun!
“Warning naughty words” he says, as if he didn’t drop the F-bomb during that last Championship game.
As someone who is very close to Wyoming (close enough to where I travel through it on a regular basis) I can confirm, it is in fact an infinite void of sadness
59:00
HE’S SO RIGHT THOUGH.
Let them fight each other while you build up your troops.
The only critiques I have as someone who’s been playing around 15 years are that it’s kinda useless to have 5 troops in most territories when you could have a few mega armies in strategic places. It’s more important to be able to project power with a 50 troop army than to have 5 countries with 10 in each.
The other critique is that you have to eventually attack.
If one person is becoming too powerful, or if they’re compromising your position, you need to take them out.
Jordan and Grey *should* have won but they both got way too passive and didn’t take out the weakest players.
Can’t wait to hear some naughty words
For the next one bring 5 of the most pacifist players you know let’s go endurance risk everyone turtles, or miss crumbington betrays everyone and wins on turn 20.
Afterwards may I recommend civ 6 it’s like risk but you can accually play nice. Until crumb takes the nuclear option.
If y’all plan on playing Risk again, mind I suggest that whoever hosts the lobby changes the timer setting?
If I recall correctly, there should be a way to give every player more time on their turns, if not remove the timer entirely.
Tommy gave off such youngest brother energy throughout this whole stream and I was living for it
I’ve already seen this from sneeg’s pov but the (warning naughty words) very much encouraged me to watch this one too lmao
Jordan was doing great to start, I wish he would have been more aggressive
when i saw tubbo collecting his troops in russia i suddenly remembered when my five year old sister won a game by collecting in russia then steamrolling everyone else
Jordan was the only player that stuck true to the alliance’s til the end, and it was the first alliance made in the whole game.
Ah yes, Tommy and Tubbo complaining while Ranboo's chill
I think in my personal opinion jardon has more recently started paying attention to his chat than to the game which usually leads to bad advice, and distracts him from the important stuff happening in game, not just in risk but in a lot of his videos in the past year. I fully respect him wanting to keep up with his followers, letting them be apart of the decisions, but in the end chat is always fighting amongst themselves to the point it confuses jardon.
1:16:06 "I was manifesting my destiny."
As an american, I approve.
Wilbur with the most older brother play: eliminating Tommy was defense 😌
1:41:48
Capt. Sparkles actually has a chance here to win. If he took some troops in South America & raided Sneeg to get back that capital, then rally a marching army up to Central America, then all the way to Europe & North Asia... it’s a small chance, but it is almost certainly possible. (If he had matching cards, he would)
playing game like risk makes you realize why there is always fighting in the middle east.
As a middle eastern risk makes me realize I REALLY NEED TO LEAVE-
Captain sitting there like “I trust sneeg” even when there were only three people left and the other two actively talked about how they were friends
Sneeg and Wilbur: Tells jardoon to invade ranboo not wilbur or the truce is over
Jardoon: *invades wilbur and breaks the truce
Sneeg and Wilbur: *Wipes out jardoon
Jardoon: How could you break the truce and do this to me
You say that like like it's meant to sarcastically imply that "Jardoon" was being unreasonable in calling out Sneeg
@@Missingno_Miner well yes, he was getting "mad" at sneeg for breaking the alliance. And I know that he wasn't actually mad but things like that without explanation are what lead to toxic fandoms
Sneeg already broke the alliance with Jordan the moment he invaded Australia. Jordan should've immediately steam rolled Africa and then pushed up to take Ukraine and Willburs other capitol. Sneeg and Wilbur seem like snakes when it comes to competitiveness. Jordan got gaslight HARD. It's a shame really because he had the best chance of winning for basically the entire game.
@@SlayingSin Yeah, his insistence on not pissing people off was ultimately his downfall.
He definitely could and should have made like Wilbur and wiped Sneeg out for attacking him, if he took Africa then he could pretty much steamroll everyone one at a time with the massive troop bonus for controlling the entire southern hemisphere.
@@Missingno_Miner I ain't mad at Jordan btw, I am more upset at Sneeg for gaslighting and playing dirty tricks on Jordan when Jordan didn't do anything wrong except play too pacifist.
Sparklez: I don't want to ally with too many people because I can't attack anything
Also Sparklez: *allies with the two people that are covering all his borders*
He could have one so many times at the end. All he needed was the capitals and they all had no troops on them and he had paths to them with almost no troops.
I feel like Captain not attacking Sneeg in South Africa when he attacked Australia and took his continent bonus away was a huge mistake.
It is easily what lost him the game. Since Sneeg was spread so thin att that point, he could've steam rolled Africa, then took Mexico, Ukraine, and the northern most bit of Russia and won the game.
Dude Tommy watches Ssundee?
He's the definition of my childhood, once dantdm and now ssundee I loved the trio between Jordan crainer and ssundee
Wilbur's silent Tommy takeover was definitely a big highlight lmao
He could have taken all of the capitals and won in 1 turn when he got 65 troops. None of them were well fortified and there were only a bunch of tiny territories 1 troop in his way.
The third place curse is never going to be broken! 😂
The key to this game is Africa. And the Captain just needs to fight Sneeg early on now. No mercy from the Captain
