What can I say that already hasn't been said? There is nothing like a sweet home theater. Awesome setup!

Would you recommend this for 5.1 setup?

@Pisarz Miłości hey buddy, the Amp is the Pioneer VSX-922k. At the moment the settings are all fairly out of the box standard in terms of audio and picture until I complete the set up. It has been calibrated with the out of the box mic though.

I'm thinking of building the same setup for starting to get in the hifi thing. Zensor 1 + vokal + canton sub, later i would like to upgrade to zensor 3 up front or zensor 5 and move the 1's to the back. do you think its a viable option? do these zensor 1 sound good in stereo mode with a sub as a 2.1 system?

Yes, the thumbnail features a toothpaste advert! I could be more careful 😁

First of all, thanks for a good demonstration video :) How big is your living room? I am myself thinking to get a similar setup (where I don't need to have a subwoofer, which the girlfriend hates!)

Go with a weaker subwoofer of any kind even one you can switch off and use selectively.
I have a Dali Zensor 5 and it sounds amazing with my AV receiver but I have discovered that my AV receiver simply is not powerful enough to get the best out of the 5.
A good budget AV receiver would be enough for the Zensor 1 and it would sound amazing.

+nicolainp Good question, my living room is a fair size but only half of it is used as the viewing area. This area is around 3x4 metres.
I have recently upgraded the area quite a bit. It now incorporates Zensor 3 at the front along with the Vokal centre. The Zensor 1s are now at the rear on stands immediately at the rear of the sofa due to the restrictions of the area. Also a Dali e9f is behind the sofa too.
I've been rather busy with work lately so I have neglected updating the channel but look to do this this week, and will do more of a general room overview.
At the moment my sound is too bright but that is due to the under decorated room causing reflections, and until I have new décor/furniture I will be living without any acoustic treatment. I believe I will still need acoustic panels to stop reflections.
The Zensor 1s definitely need a small sub to balance out the low end signals. however the zensor 3 model doesn't in a smaller space due to the Larger driver. A small sub properly levelled will not upset the missus. Its important to have a sub at the correct volume in order to not distract and give the listener the impression that a separate device is powering the LFE output.

Great to have a video on these speakers in English by an English person with a decent quality camera.

Do you have the sub woofer in your setup? The bass is punchy. Is it the LCR that does the bass management?

Sriram Balasubramanian in this video yes, this was before I completed and moved to 5.1, I now have the sub and the 1s are at the rear.
