I've never finished it too because my disc is not readable anymore but thank god for ISO files and a PSone emulator I am able to finish it. Good luck finishing it. Some levels of the game are very unforgiving.
brought this game AGAIN from PSN wow :') im 16 yet i feel like a happy 5 yr old again LOL awesome game with great music!! good times! THANK U UP LOADER!!
+Nostalgia925 Exactly! I kinda miss these old games. They were so much fun even though there wasn't a fancy graphics etc. and those games were the REAL challenge in my opinion. A lot of games these days are awesome too, of course, but still.. :) Glad to be an "oldschooler"!
I have this feeling that nowadays we focused too much on the graphics and all. Not that it's bad by all means but these old games had always something magic in it. They are more nostalgic and compelling. Rayman 1 is like reading/watching a fairy tail. I swear it's a beautiful. Every time I played the game and enjoyed every aspect of it, made me dream. In other words it gave me this feeling that I don't get with the new games that come out today. AND the challenge!!?? hahah I remember that you had to come to a certain point in the game just to learn how to grab or run (things that basically cannot be taught lol) Glad to know that there's another oldschooler around hahah
***** It's not only your feeling, I think. I have a lot of people around me telling me constantly things like "You still play these games? What an awful graphics.." bla bla, couldn't care less, haha :D. It's not only about graphics, those games are the real quality. Who cares about godlike graphics when the game has sh*tty music, story and gameplay in general? I'm not saying all games these days are bad but those are not games that are necessarily worth to be played over again. And I think that a person, who really loves playing videogames and enjoys them, appreciates much more than graphics and is able to tell what is true quality. :) Also I have the feeling that a lot of people are shaming old games because of something and speak before they think.. these games like Rayman, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Duke Nukem etc. are games we grew up with and we have them connected with those happy memories and I find it very inappropriate and offensive to speak like that. Sorry for a long comment, I just felt like I should say this out loud :D.
Atmosphere hahaha it's okay for your comment. That't the whole point of youtube. And I'd rather read long comments than short ones in the first place so don't worry, lad!! If cannot argue with you. We think the same. If I have to recall my experience with these old games as Rayman or Crash Bandicoot, I really can't let these games go. That's how connected I am with these games. They made my childhood and I can't even remember how many times I've replayed these games. I know for a fact that I played these games over and over (what I didn't do with newer games because of a little lack of motivation). I think that people should look back into these older games and reflect. I know times are different and people like others sorts of games but still. Trust me I can write more (but don't want to give you the full load). But when it comes to old games, it's a passion I have for it. I have so many good souvenirs...it's just amazing. Sorry if my answer is too long btw
greetins Rayman fans! it's great you all came to Rayman's funeral. in memory of Rayman, a great hero who got brainwashed and killed by sadistic bunnies r.i.p >_>
This brings back memories especially when times are hard I look back to the carefree days I had back when I was 5 years old. This provides me comfort and solace when I need to keep on going in the adult world.
I never played this game when a kid,tho i really loved it when watching my uncle playing a first glance. The song was very good made me humming it all day
OMG I love this music...brings back so many memories when i played this game when i was little ^^ ooh man.. The creators of the soundtrack has really good taste...I can just listen to this song over and over and over again like 20 times, its just so relaxing..
Well let's see. Both games are side scrolling platformers where you travel across a world map into different worlds with several levels, with the objective of saving lums from cages. In both games you learn a variety of different powers from nymphs to further your journey. They have some of the same enemies, even similar worlds.
@SupaKoopaKid64 That, and the fact that unlike with most franchises, the franchise revival (Origins) wasn't a total disaster...in fact, it was amazing and they did a great job tying it together with the other games.
the grapics on this game are pretty epic for when it was made! its more epic than some of the newer games! the music is perfect! i still have this game and play it from time to time but like the music is a bit messed up on it... oh well atleast i can play it i guess?
Regardless of what your opinion is, the fact is that they are still very similar games. Yes Rayman is harder and stylistically they are quite different, but just because those are differences, doesn't mean you can just void every other similarity that they have.
And as for Mother 3, the plot is strange. REALLY strange. In fact, so strange, you'd feel completely different when you finish it to when you started it.
What a classic! I played this when I was a little kid :) And I remember getting so angry when I couldn't defeat that.. mosquito?? Lol!! XD But I finally did... Then I forgot what happened ha.
@lahomiesi You can, just google the rayman xp patch and download it. You just have the disk in your hard drive and it runs of that, you don't even need to install the game. I hope you get this message and get the game working!
Always wondered what kind of creatures that made the sounds you hear at 1:15 and 3:45 (not the hissing sounds nor the frog sounds but the growling-kinda sound). The first is some kind of bird but the other one... I have no clue. Anyone have any idea? :)
I think that's supposed to be the distant buzzing of Moskito's wings, since right after it transitions into "Flight of The Moskito". Just a guess though.
rayman type: middleweight regular b move: punch (can hold down for longer punches B up: helicopter hair b down: magic seed (pops up with a jolt when someone lands on it) b side: berry throw final smash: golden fist taunt: (shown on above picture} world{s}:blue mountains, band land, cave of skops, candy chateu rayman's details from super smash bros ?????
But no matter how many differences or reasons you don't like the game that you come out with, that does not change the fact that there are many similarities between the two games, which was what you said originally and what I am defending.
I find Rayman origins not to hard but the chests are a nightmare to get sometimes..Thankfully iv had all my childhood on mario games to train me for anything this platformer can throw at me
Rayman - photo-bombing since 1995
Man I love this game!
kaylanime yes good game ;)
Such memorable music, one of the best games I've played as a child.
+RyupunkZ Same goes for me. But i never finished it and now i can do it :D
I've never finished it too because my disc is not readable anymore but thank god for ISO files and a PSone emulator I am able to finish it. Good luck finishing it. Some levels of the game are very unforgiving.
The game is super difficult
That image is perfect
There has been a Rayman TV show (with Billy West as Rayman). They only made 4 episodes though.
Woah, It was 21 years ago...

It's fantastic how after so many years I still know melody perfectly. What a great tune =) Thx for the memories
Bring back to old memories. We wont get any as beautiful games as rayman was. Thank you Ubisoft!
It’s in the beginning but now it’s crazy
This music is so beautiful and catchy. I love Rayman!
I wish we got a remaster for this game
Check Rayman Redemption, its not official but its an awesome high quality fan game that definitely worth a try
Well too bad ubisoft only cares about rabbids now
Yeah it'd be cool, but since Ancel left ubisoft it's probably never gonna happen sadly.
brought this game AGAIN from PSN wow :') im 16 yet i feel like a happy 5 yr old again LOL awesome game with great music!! good times! THANK U UP LOADER!!
This game was sooo hard! I just downloaded it from the Playstation Store...and I understand why I was an angry kid when I was little
RIP Rémi Gazel
0:09 to 1:16 is not only some of the best video game music, but some of the best MUSIC I've ever heard
Raymans music calms me down anytime of the day.
This.game.. Some levels were just IMPOSSIBLE to beat (BandLand, Art world etc.) but still.. those memories are irreplaceable :).
+Atmosphere hahahah indeed!! And those memories!! goshh what's not to remember: music, colors,...

@Krrej Makes me nostalgic too! I can't remember the last time I played a Rayman game. :)
I like this soundtrack
greetins Rayman fans! it's great you all came to Rayman's funeral. in memory of Rayman, a great hero who got brainwashed and killed by sadistic bunnies r.i.p >_>
1:28, it's my favorite part, how it all jus floes so well... You CANNOT have a good Level without music that doesn't fit and flow with it.
Rayman Origins restored my faith in the series. It is a beautiful game with some cool glimpses from the original Rayman.
oh my the nostalgia rayman was the first game I ever played....
oh the memories!
when i first played this back in the day i thought this game would be easy looking back on it this is probably the hardest game i have ever played
When my mom didn't want me to own a console, this and Rayman 2 for PC was the only thing I had. This brings many memories back.
Sitting here whistling away to this xD remembering it all total nostalgia
this game has the best soundtracks ever
don't let these darned rabbids make your perception on rayman change
That synth phrase at 1:27... holy shit.
another great game where they focuesed a lot on the music. The music really makes a game. I wish game producers would see that more clearly.
Holy shit....childhood flashback!!
RIP Rémi
Both 2D and 3D Rayman games are good. That just shows just how awesome the series is.
ahh, we meet again...childhood...how i've missed you...i still remember the time we went out and came back and the tv and ps1 were still on
Nostalgia overload! :'D
i miss this all i need is a ps2 again and i can play this WOO!! game rocks!
This is what childhood memories are made of.
This brings back memories especially when times are hard I look back to the carefree days I had back when I was 5 years old. This provides me comfort and solace when I need to keep on going in the adult world.
rayman origins demo is so fun :)
definitely a buy!
Rayman Origins brought back that old feel :)
This game is timeless, you'll never get timeless games like this again which is such a damn shame
3:51 and now my childhood anxiety returns...

Beginning of the song: happy and *kalm*
3:50 : *panik*
When I listen to this music, i go 10 years ago.Fucking good nostalgia.
the grapics on this game are pretty epic for when it was made! its more epic than some of the newer games! the music is perfect! i still have this game and play it from time to time but like the music is a bit messed up on it... oh well atleast i can play it i guess?
One of the best games of all time.
If you like Super Meat Boy, this game is for you.
+Smooth P. but damn this game is hard
This game might be as hard, if not harder than SMB. Not kidding.
This game is RIDICULOUS HARD
dat ambient part at 1:27
Moskito! :D
He was my favorite character in the game! :)
0:00 - 0:09 A peaceful day at the forest.
0:09 - 1:15 I think I'll go for a peaceful walk.
i miss the old times
Love this music so much. Can't believe I never finished this game. I sense a new series coming to my channel...
:) checking it out!
Nice try, both of you.
Regardless of what your opinion is, the fact is that they are still very similar games. Yes Rayman is harder and stylistically they are quite different, but just because those are differences, doesn't mean you can just void every other similarity that they have.
DAAAAAAAMN THIS GAME IS HARD FOR NO REASON😭
There is a reason. It wasn't playtested by anyone other than the devs.
keeps bringing back good memories...
Rayman 1 + 2 both featured great levels, great levels and music !
Rayman needs to return. He can't just disappear like that. Even though the Rabbids are funny, they can't just steal the show from him.
Bring memories!!
Good old times :D When they did NOT revamp old games but created completely new concepts...
Real chill.
i wan't go back on thoose day's again :( i miss my childhood days. A bug's life,rayman,driver and so on :(
2:39, I just got blown away by nostalgia...
Makoto Yuki hooo yeah
Me too! Mis it so much! The music, creates so much nostalgia.. I want my young years back!
You nostalgia, you lose... :3
Wow a like this music Is soo Magic and exating
Soo sad this Game Is not in the nintendo console :(
Rayman gbc not count because Is difference
And Rayman advance not because Is soo difficull because the little scream
It was released for the DSi Ware.
@sponserdsk8ter
btw ubisoft even said that they're not making any more rayman games.
You can download music from all the Rayman games on a website called Raytunes! Google it!
Holy shit, this game is so good. Never knew how spoiled I was as kid.
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD ! THIS IS EPPIIIIC !
@lahomiesi
You can, just google the rayman xp patch and download it. You just have the disk in your hard drive and it runs of that, you don't even need to install the game. I hope you get this message and get the game working!
Rayman Origins has a 9.5 on IGN.
"Platforming Masterpiece."
I just want to get up and dance to this awesome beat. :L
wow, ha pasado mas de una década, y aun sigue vigente esta pista de audio.
I can still hear that silly ass laugh in my head to this day.
Beautiful. Really reminds me of when I was very young. I still have the PS1 version of this game on a disk.
Three words "Rayman Raving Rabbids"
My childhood :D
nostalgia
i remember this song... when i was children i played
It's also the same as PSX verson. Love this game :D
Your the best rayman!
Yes it is! :)
Mr. Dark, Razorbeard, and Andre disliked this video

Get Rekt Scrub
No it's before the musquito buzzing. I'm compelled to saying it's some kind of a feline animal maybe.
The Scandinavian Gaming Channel Oh, I think I heard it that time around. Really no idea.
And both games were insanely hard.
rayman

i have this game i love it so much

is everyone forgetting how fucking creepy the music gets later on in this world??
I am so glad that they made this game. It is just one of those creative wonders that had to be made, and I can not wait for Origins.
Both games I owned and both kind of equal in there own ways
SO many memories
Childhood right here!
I find Rayman origins not to hard but the chests are a nightmare to get sometimes..Thankfully iv had all my childhood on mario games to train me for anything this platformer can throw at me
That sounds awesome!
