Nice video! Went to the same location today and found the same type of ring near a picnic table. Lots of coins in the park shaded area.

Enjoyed the hunt. You have way more experience than me but I run the sensitivity really low on the Xterra Pro. Seems to help stabilize the VDI somewhat.
new to the hobby, having a good time doing it though. only wondering why aluminum rings up as almost everything. so many pull tabs and foil chunks it's ridiculous. thanks for another great adventure.

Try cutting back on the sensitivity, you might be surprised, good job on doing what you are doing.
Hammering out everything but foil and found some jewelry woo hoo :)

I agree with what you said about Clearwater, we've been there a few times and struck out. a very few metal objects and maybe a few pennies if we're lucky... nothing worth making a video over.
I also had the xterra being a bit jumpy in the water. I use "Beach 2" and lower the sensitivity down. Seems to work.
You had some interesting finds, good work
I'm a bit frustrated by so jumpy VDI of X-Terra.. Vanquish 440 looks much more stable on the beach.

I’d be so sad if I had something like that and lost it. Which brings me to what my mother always says whenever I complain that I missed a good shot with my trusty cellphone camera.

Never know, I found a small heart pendant with ashes inside at the same place in the playground a while ago... never found the owner of it. :(
@@TreasureOutdoors My grandsons both had a Great Dane. Those kind of dogs have short life spans. When the dog passed away, their dad had necklaces made for them with the dogs ashes in them. The younger grandsons chain broke (unknowingly), and he lost the container holding the ashes. Someone found it on a sidewalk and posted it to Facebook and at the time, I didn’t even know about him losing his buddies ashes. When I asked his mother where he lost them “after” she told me about it, I put two and two together, but this was months later and by then I could never find that post on facebook again. Needless to say, he never got them back. My heart always hurts for him because I would have been terribly hurt if they were mine, had it ever happened to me.

Try wearing Polarized sunglasses when in/on water to see into the water better...worth the $
Good tip, have to get myself a pair. Found a nice pair a while ago but crunched the lenses with the sand scoop. :(

How long did the travel shaft last you, mate?
A couple of years, I think putting a bigger sand scoop on the end of it didn't help. It might still be going strong if I kept the smaller sand basket on the end of it.
Austin, why dont you use the equinox anymore out of interest.
Just have not ordered an arm cuff yet, guilty of slacking. Equinox would have worked great out there.

It was risky going no shoe in that water, forgot them at home and had to make the decision there lol. Hopefully a live stream soon. :)
