I see so much of us in them and I am moved by watching Momotaro and Genki raise their two sons with so much love, just like us. What a wonderful video showing what was a terrifying time it was for the boys when dad Momo was sick. This illness really shook their world. Dad can't be sick! It was definitely not surprising that the illness affected the boys, but I was really grateful that Genki was able to keep everything together for them during Momo's illness. It's wonderful seeing Momo and Kintaro smiling, hugging, and playing, now that Momo was feeling better. Gentaro seemed to be worst hit by the illness of his dad (AKA superhero). I am so grateful that the family was able to overcome what was a truly unsettling time for the boys. Thanks for such a wonderful video, and Happy Birthday, Kintaro!
It still amazes me that these magnificent primates with an incredible stature, strength & agility & brains, live only on vegetables & green grasses, bark & leaves!!! Ive been vegetarian for a long time & have to say im extremely fit & healthy in my late 60s Ive no weight problems, my skin is very good & my brain faculties are as sharp now as ever they were if not sharper, my memory is faultless & i attribute my healthy mind & body down to lots of salad & i love my veggies so much, grains & pulses, green drinks, fruit at all times Even the Elephant is vegetarian & what a size they are & intelligent & loving with each other. Any of the meat eating primates including humans show the same aggressive & hostile behaviours To their own young & to each other. I think the Macaque monkeys or snow monkeys & the Chimps are among the worst parents & fellow pack members Long Live Momotaro, Genki, Gentaro & Kintaro I love love love your videos 👧🇬🇧

Yes …. This was the saddest day that I ever seen!! How my baby wasn’t eating and not even nursing 🥲!! But mama tried her best to lift up his spirits!! You know that mama was worried about her baby 🦍!! How he lost his tummy 😔!! I remember when baby and Gentaro were going through their own elements!! But thank God that they all recovered nicely!! And that we are seeing baby having fun again 🦍💕💋💗

I remember seeing video of Gentaro and Kintaro so lethargic. Kintaro looked so miserable laying around or clinging to his mom. I was so happy to see the family all recover.
I think u should not ship gentaro out ,genki has had enough heart ache in her life. I believe it would shorten her life Many you could bring little Annie over to live with them ,I believe genki would tolerate her. If not then I guess you r between a hard place and a rock. I think genki could never adapt to losing her son.see if Annie will do ok in that family. I am more worried about Annie having a baby,u know genki thinks every baby should be hers.

Sweet babies were mourning their Daddy not being there. Most likely confused and unsure of what was going on. So sweet, yet heartbreaking to see them like that at the same time. They love their Daddy. 💜💜
Momotaro’s illness was a terrible time but the outcome is that he’s now fully part of the family. It brought them all together. Before it always seemed like three (Genki, Gentaro, Kintaro) and Momotaro watching over them, usually from the beams, staying apart, protecting them from the white hats and any other perceived enemies, but seldom integrating. Now he’s fully in with his family and it’s wonderful to see. It’s like Momotaro understands his importance in his group now and he’s embracing it. He’s maturing wonderfully and developing loving, tender relationships with his sons and I’m so happy he survived to blossom as he’s been doing lately with his family 🦍♥️

That was such a SCARY time for the family...See how important the family dynamic is. I sincerely hope they keep them all together for a while yet to come. A shifting of couples should be able to keep them happy for a while longer. If Gentaro gets to hanzy with mama then just let them out at different times and mix and match the family like other zoo's have done to prolong their time together. Maybe you can suggest that idea to them or us followers can suggest it to them on their Instagram site as they read the zoo reads those comments
Watching this again for millionth time. Still brings tears to my eyes. That was such a difficult time. From about 6:00 on, Kintaro and Gentaro look like their going to burst with happiness being back together and playing with dad. I think this is the most at peace and pleased I've seen Momo, surrounded by his boys, and knowing Genki's got his back.
I wasn't a follower back then but I will say they have come a long way. I'm so happy Mo recovered and the family is eating again and back on their feet!! Happy 3rd Birthday Kintaro!! ... and many, many more! 😉😘🙏
I remembered around that time . Never fully understood what was really wrong with Momotoro !?!? Could you explain what kind of illness ?? Please . Soo glad the day when he returned to his family . Towards the end of the video you see Momotaro return to the enclosure. The sense I get from watching him sitting in his little boxy is one of sadness. Not sad to see his boys and Genki again, but just the sadness of having to return to the eternal life stuck in that one place. He must realise by now there is more than that outside the four walls he's been confined to for the rest of his life. The poor fellow is totally bored out of his mind. You can see him looking around just thinking, what am I doing stuck here. It's a shame, but that's how it goes. At least he's getting the best of care from the keepers at Kyoto, but there is only so much they can do to keep his mind stimulated. Out in a Gorillas natural environment, the silverback would be directing his family through the bush hunting for new sources of food and water. He'd be keeping his mind very active trying to remember where all these places were at various times of the seasons. He'd be totally protecting his wife and boys from any threats made by other rouge silverbacks. He'd fight them to the death if he had to. Therefore he would have a feeling of purpose in his life, a very responsible job looking after the troop and making sure they had all the greenery and fresh water they needed. Exploring different places, different places to see, and different challenges every day. You can see that Momotaro has nothing of that, nothing whatsoever to stimulate his mind. Poor bloke. They'll be O.K. !!!

That never occurred to me, to keep Gentaro separate if needed. I saw the San Diego do that with Frank lol, not sure why it didn't come to me 😆

Towards the end of the video you see Momotaro return to the enclosure. The sense I get from watching him sitting in his little boxy is one of sadness. Not sad to see his boys and Genki again, but just the sadness of having to return to the eternal life stuck in that one place. He must realise by now there is more than that outside the four walls he's been confined to for the rest of his life. The poor fellow is totally bored out of his mind. You can see him looking around just thinking, what am I doing stuck here. It's a shame, but that's how it goes. At least he's getting the best of care from the keepers at Kyoto, but there is only so much they can do to keep his mind stimulated. Out in a Gorillas natural environment, the silverback would be directing his family through the bush hunting for new sources of food and water. He'd be keeping his mind very active trying to remember where all these places were at various times of the seasons. He'd be totally protecting his wife and boys from any threats made by other rouge silverbacks. He'd fight them to the death if he had to. Therefore he would have a feeling of purpose in his life, a very responsible job looking after the troop and making sure they had all the greenery and fresh water they needed. Exploring different places, different places to see, and different challenges every day. You can see that Momotaro has nothing of that, nothing whatsoever to stimulate his mind. Poor bloke. They'll be O.K. !!!

@@mariemannix8432 iheard they are going to give cake for the boys together on the 20th which is today. There is a video on here where Momo shared his ice cake with mama and the 2 boys. It had fruit in it. They were licking and biting fruits out of it. Cute video.!!! They may separate them, i don't know.....i hope they can eat together..❤🦍🦍🦍🦍🙋♀️
