Lmao at everyone criticizing her playing. A) it's a punk band and B) she's a professional musician and you're not. This is a great band and a cool rundown
Funny of you to assume that professional musicians are super rare or something. Not a knock on her but even bands that only play the low string on their 7-8 string guitars and mumble rappers are considered “Professional”. 🤦🏻♂️
@@premierguitar except for the simple fact that they are barely mediocre musicians! Do a side by side with your very own John Bollinger, now that dude can play!
Fuckin' love MP! They really absolutely are my favourite band. Missy is such a great songwriter. Their Dallas show was so amazing and I cannot wait til they come back!!!!
The Hoof and Box of Rocks were two of my first pedals choices, as well.I know that back when I was actively playing out a lot, and rehearsing, that I rarely had the time or energy to do much gear hunting, and tended to stay with what I knew worked.Over the years, as gear has become more expansive and refined, my opinion of what a great Fuzz or Drive sound is has changed repeatedly and dramatically. As with other pedals and amps, the more you are exposed to, the more you see what is really possible; one thing I wish I'd learned sooner is how much the amp and the speaker cabs matter.Probably more important than the instrument itself.Don't let the technical aspects of amps(cabs/ impedance/ ohm ratings / tubes) detur you; it's really not that complicated.
This is not a top tier band. It’s an indie band. I looked up their live performances and they sound good. It’s good to see what gear musicians use. Not everybody can afford a rackmount gear. I’ve picked up so many tricks watching these videos. Anybody who keeps commenting on the lack of playing ability are just insecure. That’s the beauty of electric guitar-there are no standards and no academic “this is how you play” guitar. Better this than sterile harmonic minor shredding up and down the neck. Loll
Omg i love the bass player! I love abominable electronics! I got a hellmouth deluxe and a hail satan deluxe. I also had that same head but returned it because it was faulty. I got a bassman head that is sweet and that deebo shirt is great. I need that terror head again lol.
I'd like to donate some guitar racks to this band. I'm looking at the bass lean up against the amp thinking that, then her guitar goes to slip off the amp during the interview. lol
Never heard of the band... I tried to get through the whole thing, but it's noises and more noises... I'm sure they are great and that their music is important and speaks to their fans.
Ah no, dont get this band at all. I do love the p90 sound, but their music is just too random, not melodic to my ear. Just dont get it. But yea, my P90 LP and SG sound so good for sure! I tend to leave the humbucker machines packed away in favor of my more robust sounding P90 gear.
@@Hillcapper1 Dude I'm in the Shapiro/Matt Walsh camp of conservatism and despise leftists. But this girl is cute and I genuijely like the way she plays, you come off like a loser
@@snicker576 Dude, I may be even right of you politically. My comment has nothing to do with the fact she is a female. She’s cute and seems pretty cool. I love females and have been married to my wife for 30 years. My comment was purely around what ‘bring it’ seems to mean in her case. If that makes me a loser in your mind, so be it.
It’s like give a guitar to a baby and they’ll make the most unique sound with it.... that’s why I watch these videos. So,times I pick up interesting new tricks.
why are you sorry? do you think you have offended someone because you dislike the pedal? who are you apologizing to? do you have an empty hole inside of you that forces you to apologize to strangers for a simple opinion? take some time and think about these things.
@@ileutur6863 I absolutely do not nor have ever liked shredding, what part of”she cannot play” did you not understand? Take any number of newer more interesting bands out there, they can at least “write songs” and “play their instruments”
If this girl, and or Premier Guitars, think it's ok to use inappropriate lanuage, you should think again. It makes her sound cheap, and iliterate. Its not cool, and I would like to think, she could express herself, in a better more meaningful way. Disappointed!

@@DJMarcO138 Amen.
People negatively critiquing her playing are those irritating blues-noodling smug goons who plague guitar playing like scrofula.
This man has “Dad Reflexes” when it comes to potential headstock disasters. Nice save, sir.
I read this and was waiting for it. He really did just do that. I do that all the time, and you never think about it.

They need to have more Reverends in the shops.

“By the way which one’s Mannequin?”

Thanks!
Boss Bass Overdrive is completely rad. Works amazing for guitar as well.
Cool interview, Chris. Been intrigued by Reverend since Reeves Gabrels plays them with the Cure. Love pedals too.

They care most about the music. Not every little detail and spec of their gear. This is the difference between a musician and a gear nerd.
Honestly thought she was Kari from Mythbusters for minute
thanks for covering the bass!
