Kreator is one of those bands where they sound the same decades later, but still somehow still sound fresh and kick ass, much like New Jersey thrashers Overkill. Hey, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it yeah?
They certainly "broke" their 80s sound, I don't think, it has much in common with the 21st century Kreator. I know a few die-hard thrash fans, who wouldn't listen to anything past Coma of Souls. Saying that Kreator hasn't changed is a strange statement, you can play any song from any of the newer albums next to, say, Riot of Violence to notice the difference. Add Endorama to the mix - and it's going to sound like three different bands. Not calling any of those songs bad though, I'm a fan of most of their catalogue.
I'm not a biggest Kreator fan of the world (I like their music), but I was with my band in the same studio building with them. They are very kind and helped us with equipment. Nice guys, good music.
Well all og power metal bands were fans of 80s thrash bands... so I would assume getting to be in Kreator would be a dream come true for a bunch of power metal musicians
Hey Tank! Great video man! Huge thanks for doing what you do! I have discovered a lot of great bands thanks to your channel (I’ve know Kreator since 1990 of course, People of the Lie is my favorite of theirs). Your channel is not only fun to watch, it is highly enlightening in terms of gear. Thanks man! Keep it rolling!
Hey Tank. Great reaction video again. I was grown up in their neighbourhood. I'm also from Essen in Germany. Kreator accompanies me my whole life. One of the best Metal Bands in Germany.
My buddy over here in the US has been friends with them for years. He has hung out with them on every single US tour since the first US tour. I also became somewhat friends with them at a few shows in the last 10 years and we go and hang on the bus with them and such. Ventor is super cool to hang out with. Those guys haven't let success change them. It's like talking to my buddies I went to school with. I'm the hugest Rush fan and I learned Ventor was too so among a lot of other stuff, we talked about that a bit. Looking forward to hanging out with them again this spring 2023 on the US leg with Sepultura and Death Angel. \m/
This song kicks my ass. One of the best tunes Mille has wrote. Mille is one of those dudes where people won't fully appreciate it until 200 years from now. Like Mozart.
Glad you mentioned the Marshalls in the background. They look like JCM2000 TSL100 heads (amazing underrated amps by the way). I spotted those when the video came out and I have been surprised no one else mentioned the amps. I’m assuming that Marshalls are just easier to hire/come by than ENGLs in that part of SA maybe.
Tank, please, please, please check out some Persuader. Because the world needs to see, or hear this band. They deserve it so much. They're from Umea, Sweden und do some pretty heavy Speed/Thrash. Also the Singer, Jens Carlsson, sounds very like Hansi Kürsch from Blind Guardian. He also had a project with Thommen Stauch (ex BG-Drummer) called Savage Circus, which was very close to the old-school Blind Guardian stuff. It'd be so awesome of you would check out these guys. Anyways, thank you so much for doing this videos. I have discovered many bands through your reactions. Keep going and rock on, my friend. 🤟
Great reaction tank. Btw. you havn't done Epica in like 1 year. How about some vids from their Omega Alive live session during covid? I recommend Kingdom of Heaven part 3.
The message in this video feels like something Rise Against would do. I'm getting some serious "Ready to Fall" vibes. These guys have been on my radar for a while, but I've only really heard a few songs here and there. Time for a deep dive, methinks.
Tank! Absolutely love finding new music on your channel and your reviews are ace!! SO!!! I would like to introduce you to my new favorite band! They are called DEADSQUAD, they are Indonesian, they sound a little like slaughter to prevail and Lorna shore had sex. Try curse of the black plague. But the whole album slaps. And the drummer is on another level!!! I know you love slaughter to prevail, so freaking enjoy my man! Love from Australia!
I almost hate doing this because I have been nothing but disillusioned for two decades, but my jaw is appropriately agape at just how good Kirk Hammet's solo release "Portals" is. Give it a listen on your own time and see what you think..
It was recorded in South Africa. At first I thought it was in my country, because the south of Spain is one of the most desert areas in Europe... although in the north (Cantabrian Sea), where I'm from, it's the opposite and we look like Scotland XD
so, new gloryhammer, with new singer is out, we gonna get a reaction on that? and or the situation surrounding the removal of thommas as angus. all objectively obviously.
This German band is one of the bands who still releases songs there is a band a German called same your name TANK just listen to this song from one of famous and favorite German bands AXEL RUDI PELL the song is WAY TO MANDALY
f you like Kreator, you should also check out the other big 2 of the big 3 from Germany: Sodom and Destruction. But I bet you have already checked them out offscreen :) Still, would like a reaction Video of any of these bands.
Hey Tank!!! Check the Doku. "Trash Altenessen" on youtube out. The nearby beings of Kreator! Hopefully yu`ll find a good translation!! x---P. Stay interested. Head up! Fists in the air!
Not that it matters but Patrik has never been Worlds Strongest Man nor is he top level. Similarly to you, I’ve heard Kreator in the past but never really dug in to the music too much. I’ve been loving the singles that they are releasing and can’t wait to listen to the old stuff.

@@ArtemTerentyev They have two distinct phases with a couple of transitional albums in Outcast and Endorama but otherwise they are pretty consistent.
@@Ikenhauer Isn't it pretty much what I said? :)
I'm not a biggest Kreator fan of the world (I like their music), but I was with my band in the same studio building with them. They are very kind and helped us with equipment. Nice guys, good music.
Kreator my all time favorite band !! Meet them an chilled in they're tour bus !!! The coolest an down to earth !!
Good stuff, Tank. Kreator’s guitar work is so impressive. Interesting how Dragonforce’s previous bassist is with Kreator now.
Well all og power metal bands were fans of 80s thrash bands... so I would assume getting to be in Kreator would be a dream come true for a bunch of power metal musicians
How good is Kreator?

I met the guys once during Joey Demaio's third solo, we had a nice chat. Kreator is one of the originals.

After all these years and still, they deliver yet another new Metal classic. Respect 🤘

Thumbs up alone for your tshirt!
Just like you're video today. I haven't listen to kreator in a decade or more and they sound just like I remember hahaha
And just like 10 years ago I got this band confused with Annihilator lol
Fred Leclercq is also in LoudBlbast, Sinsaenum - french metal bands you should check. Hail from normandy.
Love it especially where it seemed to pick up near the end.

Love the first two songs from this album!
I suggest you wear an Indiana Jones hat for those. Discovering Kreator in 2022 is like digging into some very ancient history 😝
Great reaction tank. Btw. you havn't done Epica in like 1 year. How about some vids from their Omega Alive live session during covid? I recommend Kingdom of Heaven part 3.
Not quite related to Kreator, but Fallujah released their new single Radiant Ascension and I think that's something you might like

It's just a great song with cool video again.
I'm going to buy another Kreator album after about 30 years. ⚒ 😍

South Africa.
It was recorded in South Africa.
At first I thought it was in my country, because the south of Spain is one of the most desert areas in Europe... although in the north (Cantabrian Sea), where I'm from, it's the opposite and we look like Scotland XD
Is it my imagination, or are there moments here where their soundscape is reminiscent of very early Metal Church?
Hey Tank! If you haven't heard them already then I definitly think you should check out the swedish band Corroded :)
If you ordered the vinyl for the wall, I think you're going to need more wall! hahaha
