Wonderful musicians! So glad my daughter Nanda got to work with the inimitable Jimmy Cobb.
I know I'm late as f@#$...but...I've got to say...sooooooo much talent on that stage...wish the bass could have been mic'd a little hotter...I could tell that she was working that upright, just couldn't hear the notes as well as I would have liked (I understand, though)...Anyways, this was REALLY nice...would love to hear Ms. Moore perform a jazz tune using brushes...is this, or anything else similar, available on wax??
A pretty girl that kills it on drums - AND plays jazz - is hard to come by. I think you're the only one.
