The ones who live was a 10 out of 10 IMO. May be a little biased cause rick grimes is my favorite tv character of all time but it was incredible from beginning to end
We haven’t seen the last of Richonne and reunion with the other main characters. With as much success in viewership of TOWL, I’m pretty sure they’re cooking up something else in the works. Whether it be an extension to one of the spinoffs or something else. My bet is that it probably won’t be announced until the San Diego Comic Con this summer.
Agreed. The reception for TOWL has been phenomenal. AMC will want to capitalize. Andy/Danai seem to be onboard. It needs to be an exciting story, according to Andy. I have faith in Danai to come up with something❤
I can't believe I've been watching TWD for 14 years now. Never missed an episode, novel, comic, or game. I hope it continues with Rick and TWD: TOWL because I NEED to see how it all plays out
Here's hoping somebody with power at AMC sees this because this is the exact blueprint they need to follow not only to bring old fans back but to also give the fans still watching to get hyped for.
I completely agree that I think another "season" of the Walking Dead needs to happen and the enemy HAS to be the more evolved walkers. Not necessarily the ones who Sprint, but the ones who know how to climb or turn door knobs. All the humans near Alexandria and The Commonwealth should be friendly....the dead is the enemy. Sidebar, besides the Dahma (???), Dean City also has to take care of those "Cowboy Rangers" too (can't remember their names).
i dunno man, yes the walkers should be an existential threat, but the real and most dangerous enemy is the enemy within, the beast that dwells in every man that stirs when u put a sword in its hands, the Walking Dead wouldnt be so awesome if from time to time we remember that sometimes the bigger danger is the darker side of human nature, and that as a society we must strive to better ourselves...
@@lundyclipz this is true, but they should have ended the original series with Rick as the main character and then if they wanted to still have their spin offs afterwards. It wouldn't take much to work in a narrative for the characters in the spin off series. And at least this way the main show can end as it started with Rick Grimes.
It's a little disappointing to know that none of the Spin-offs' characters ever met or crossed paths with the og show characters. I love the idea of continuing the show with a final 2 part reunion with the main characters meeting and fighting something bigger. However, If the Ones Who Live continues, then the writers would go back to kill off characters that died in the comics like Gabriel and Rick. I think Morgan would likely be one of the last main ogs standing considering the established "I don't die". I'm fine with how the Ones Who Live ended because it could have been another Carl death situation.
I would love to see Rick reunite with everyone, but I NEED a Rick and Negan reunion. Rick needs to see with his own eyes that Carl was right. It was worth it.
Carol left to go find Daryl to bring him back home because Rick and michonne is back. The community is in good hands now so Carol feels like she can now leave to go look for Daryl.
The whole reason TWD original ended was Darabont won his lawsuit. It could come back but not as TWD, otherwise they'd have to continue to pay Darabont royalties.

I don’t think these spinoffs are worth existing in the first place, but i will admit the Ones Who Live clearly had a lot more money and care into its presentation than the show I abandoned more than 10 years ago. I was not constantly thinking jeez this is cheap. So there’s that. With a few more days on my free AMC+ subscription I decided to check out the Daryl show. That felt more classic TWD to me as I was totally bored and annoyed and bailed after one episode.
Maybe one final 6 episode show where the commonwealth have to fend off against the dead and everyone ends up dying, or if they go with the old man carl story, maybe start the "final" where ALOT of people die then end with that supposed 14 years I think it would be cool
It would be so badass if they made a Walking Dead season 2. And they all reunited and had to fight off the mutated variants, and the variants could run, talk, etc. but still ate ppl and were evil. My theory for Daryl/Carol Season 2: #1: If The Nest will be destroyed, the people/resistance in it will be joining The Commonwealth community. Laurent may befriend Judith.
