I know that show featured the CRM majorly and Jadis was in it but I couldn’t bring myself to watch it. I think it’s the only Walking Dead show I haven’t so I would love to know if it is *required reading* in any way of if it doesn’t matter? So stoked you guys are covering this and that you covered True Detective, there’s a reason you guys are my favourite channel!

I also liked season 9 and I'm a fan of Fear the Walking Dead Season 1 -3 and Daryl Dixon. Daryl Dixon was great though ultimately succumbed to bad writing by playing it too safe towards the end. The Walking Dead Dead City was also ok. They were all however definitely better than Seasons 7, 8, some of 10 and 11. I also completely agree with you about Carl Grimes. For a long time his death ruined the show as he was being built up to be the future of the show The Walking Dead is essentially Carls story. However they turned it more into an ensemble lead show where Rick, Michonne, Daryl, Carol, Maggie and Negan became the main characters. I'm glad to hear the one's who live is good btw. I would have preferred it to have been a feature film in cinemas like it was originally meant to be. However due to the decline in quality of the show AMC really lost their fanbase to pull that off and make that financially viable. Perhaps if some of the last few seasons of the show were executed better. I imagine the film would have gone straight to streaming anyway like Breaking Bad El Camino and maybe had a limited theatrical release. I could have seen the trilogy very easily becoming Amazon Prime original films if it weren't for AMC +. I'm glad to hear episode 1 of The One's Who Live was epic, refreshing and entertaining. However so was episode 1 of Daryl Dixon. Hopefully the One's Who Live can maintain that momentum. I think Scott Gimple is single handily responsible for ruining the franchise.

I love Rick Grimes; he's my favorite character of the show and one of my favorite TV characters of all time. Some consider him the greatest character in the history of television. However, I have never been a fan of him and Michonne. They just do not fit together, in my opinion. Their relationship just completely came out of nowhere. I'm really excited about this show, though. I'm excited for all the answers to be revealed explaining what has kept Rick away for so many years.
Most people love Rick and Michonne. They have great chemistry and Michonne brings out the best in him. It’s 2024, and your bitter opinion is not a fact.
They've had chemistry that perhaps your *Implicit Biases* wouldn't allow you to see beyond. ;) Many of us reasonable Folk picked up the breadcrumbs that were being left for seasons, leading up to them eventually getting together. Even Norman Reedus brought it up on The Talking Dead, saying that he saw what seemed to be a flirtatious tension from Rick who even later looked Michonne up and down in a scene. ;) lol The Rick & Michonne characters were/are actually an incredible fit for one another - even if some audience members find it JARRING to see a darker Brown hued woman w/locs & an edge in sensual & loving situations with a white, what some deem as handsome, leading man. ;) Everyone has their own cross to bear... :)
