This video was like my bible growing up. I can't tell you how many times I watched it. I studied this video every day. There's never been a better Leg Spin bowling tutorial ever in my opinion. It's very rare that a genius, and true master of their craft can simplify things, and articulate so well & so clearly how they do what they do. Warnie was brilliant at it. Rest in peace to my hero.
Me too!! I can mouth words with him. I started watching cricket because of him. These and some other VHS quality videos were the ones that taught me how to bowl leg spin. Thank you Warnie!
Not many spin bowlers explain how they bowl each ball as much as Warne did. That gave kids and also batsman the chance to really study his deliveries so they could pick him and he still got so many wickets. Don't know if there will ever be anyone as good as Warnie was.
There are quite a lot of these videos on YT. We can watch him take the wickets and learn how he did it. In my opinion these videos of Shane Warne coaching spin bowling are a fantastic legacy.
@@geoffpoole483 yeah its great that he left so many of these instructional videos for those that want to learn the art of leg spin bowling. Normally people would want to charge money in some form to teach others, but Warne shared all his knowledge for free.
Picking the one is the toughest for a batsman. A spinner deceives the batsman with his action, mostly the ball is concealed by the bowler before bowling. And that combination by a bowler is what shane or murli did the best
He had his reasons. He knew the England players would all be watching this trying to figure him out. He knew he was getting into their heads and then when they got out there they were looking for 7 different balls - 4 of which he never bowled and some never existed. He's said this since just be before he died. In the games for the most part he just bowled variations of a basic leg-break with the occasional Top-Spinner. The Flippers and Wrong-uns were rare. Very clever bloke.
Shane is the greatest cricketer theres ever been. He destroyed us with ease in the 90s and early 00s. He's so articulate as well. My God how he's missed
Miss you so much Warnie. At least the fact that the entire cricketing community was so devastated and open about it was cathartic (at least for us, can't imagine the pain his family have/are going experiencing). Love from England, RIP ledge
that seam of top spinner and leg break and that flipper oh man, no one can ball that accurate flipper in this current cricket era..... God of Leg Spin bowling for sure "Shane K. Warne" RIP Legend and we miss you daily 🏏
I loved watching Shane bowl. When I was a kid on summer holidays, I'd go out in the garden and just practice bowling - I'd leave the stumps in the ground pretty much for the entirety of those 6 weeks. I'd be home alone so I could have test match cricket just playing on the TV. Good times.
Vry concise & classic demo by King Shane warne about spin deviation for youth accompanying great lesson of just don't get disheart r discouraged wid conceiving occasional boundaries but continue to get da ball spin only way to get wickets & stopping r reducing boundaries
Miss my old perks of The Perth Test match there, when working for 3. Remember Punter & Gilly standing right near me on the fence in the final Ashes demolition of England 5 Zip.😅
Warnie, he was a robot as a leg spin bowler. At home, in the pub, wherever, someone always yelled out, "Warnie's bowling" and then we'd stop what we were doing to watch. Always something happening when he played! Sadly missed ....

It was only by watching and listening to Warne that I got any wickets for my club. Thanks Warnie!

I could never work out how Warnie bowled flat being a leg breaker.
Super star spiner bowler
Any one in our laughed on me first time but then I focused on my goal I cannot perform leggie but my wronun is so hard to play
You cannot teach drift & length to any spinner, that's a natural thing.
Warne used to get insane drift in the air which made him so lethal.
Mashallah 🎉 bro
