you should try story graph, cause it allows you put .5 ratings and it generates a list of all the genres you read in a month and how many of the books that you read were fast paced and etc.

I love how much you love heartstopper. I watched the show first (genuinely life changing - sent me into a real spiralling crisis of identity but it did allow me to take a step towards self acceptance) but everything about the books and show is perfection. Definitely read the nick & charlie novella once you finish the novels (i think it’s set when nick is planning to go to uni or is in his first year), but alice has created such perfect REAL characters trying to navigate life and the fact that she also wrote the show scripts is what makes it the perfect tv adaptation. Also Kit Connor and Joe Locke are beyond the perfect casting for Nick and Charlie.

Sara, if you want a book rec that takes place around weddings you should read Once and for All by Sarah Dessan. It's a ya romance and it follows a girl who works for her mom who owns a wedding planning business. The romance is one of my favorites!
The sequel to Today, Tonight, Tomorrow (Past, Present, Future) is being released on June 4th! Can't wait even though it's only two days away.

Omg yes! If you like enemies to lovers and a good mystery it’ll really get you into the book. Not a complex magic system by any means. The reader is learning and going through the magic rules with the protagonist.

Glad im not the only one who didnt care for hello stranger...
Found it extremely repetitive and predictable.... But also i HATED the epilogue. The story might have gotten better rating frome me -and i might have been willing to try another katherine center book - if she didnt have the epilogue. Fun video :) might have some summer recs from this.
@Findmewherethebooksare’s idea but you should recommend books based on your fav quote. like convincing us to read a book by reading your fav quotes from that book.
Ok chances are very low you’ll read this but I just read Powerless by Lauren Roberts last week and I absolutely loved it! Thank you so much for the recommendation because its one of my favourite fantasy books ever now! I hope you have a wonderful day ❤

You should check out the hooky graphic novels. They are children's but read like YA. The third one is definitely very mature for the age group it's recommended for. Definitely check them out
I had a lot of books I couldn’t connect with in May, I had 6 dnfs 😭 but I did enjoy The Wishing Game, I liked it a lot but I also wish there had been a little more dialogue and time spent on the characters
