Today we have info on the final Lego Ideas set for 2024, more Lego 2025 leaks, the latest rumours on a giant Lego Icons set, the new Lego August 2024 promos and more!
The final Lego Ideas set is set to be a record breaker as Lego 21353 Botanical Garden will launch on November 1st! The potential Modular Lego Botanical Garden will include 3792pcs and will retail for $330 making it the biggest Lego Ideas set of 2024 just coming in above the Lego Dungeons & Dragons set which will go perfectly with the Lego 71047 Dungeons and Dragons minifigure series that was announced today!
The Lego Harry Potter 2024 sets still have one huge release s Lego 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition will launch on September 1st and we now know the $260 Lego Burrow will include ten minifigures and will be fully enclosed to house a full interior with faithful details to the Harry Potter films in Lego!
The Lego 10335 Endurance Polarship will launch on Black Friday as the giant Lego set for this year and excitement is building for the Lego Endurance as we now know it will include 3011pcs suggesting it could be minifigure scale and include a Lego Shackleton minifigure!? It will probably be the final Lego Icons set of 2025 until the Lego 2025 Modular Building! In 2025 it's even expected that we could see Lego Tom and Jerry Brickheadz which would be amazing!
It's San Diego Comic Con today and Lego has been revealing a whole bunch of sets including:
Lego Mario 71438 LEGO Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi
Lego 77000 Shadow The Hedgehog Bust
Lego 75388 Jedi Bob's Starfighter
Lego Fortnite sets
The Lego August 2024 promos are set to see the return of the Lego 40712 Micro rocket and spaceship with the Lego Space Babies and also some new Lego Dreamzzz polybags from August 1st! It's rumoured there will also be a new Lego Mythical Pegasus promo towards the end of the Lego August promos! The Lego 40748 Batman 8in1 Brickheadz released last week and has caused huge debate over the choice of printed pieces & also the instructions for the Lego 8in1 Batman Brickheadz which led to Lego sending out preliminary versions using the Lego app!
As the Lego 2025 leaks slowly roll in, it appears there will be something much more going on with Lego Formula One in 2025 as it's expected to be an entire subtheme of Lego sets similar to what we saw with Lego Space this year! I'm sure it'll be featured in the Lego City 2025 sets, Lego Technic 2025 sets, Lego Speed Champions 2025 sets & more!
With the Lego Fortnite set leaks, it ticks off another new Lego theme for October as we still need to see images of the upcoming Lego Wicked & Lego Wednesday sets which are coming alongside the giant Lego UCS Jabba's Sailbarge and Lego Winter Village 2024 set which is set to be a Lego Hot Air Ballon Ride!
Of course in the past few weeks we've had first information on the Lego Star Wars 2025 set leaks, Lego Marvel 2025 set leaks, Lego Ninjago 2025 set leaks & even the Lego DC 2025 set leaks which are all sounding pretty impressive! It sounds like the Lego 2025 sets will once again level up the quality we've seen from this years sets!
It sounds like a pretty incredible year for the Lego 18+ lineup too giving us so many sets from so many different Lego themes and Lego licenses and I'm sure many will be happy with more Lego Lord of the Rings sets and finally our first Lego Zelda set coming later this year that was revealed earlier this week with Lego 77092 Zelda The Great Deku tree and the first Lego Zelda set has also sold out of the initial pre-orders showing just how popular Lego Zelda could end up being! Other recently revealed Lego 18+ sets include the Lego 10338 Transformers Bumblebee and Lego 10337 Lamborghini Countach set which are both Lego Icons sets!

Endurance sounds like it will be mini fig scale - a bit larger and more detailed than the barracuda bay version of the BSB
long time pirates ships builder here. the endurance will probably use boat hull parts which drastically reduces the part count compared to any kind of brick built hull (and also makes the ship look bigger). typically in my own builds (which i must admit are not terribly large compared to the ships i see others build) i would say a 3000+ parts build will get you a pretty large ship with about 5 hull pieces, an elevated deck like the barracuda bay ship and and at least 3 masts. keep in mind the barracuda bay ship is under 2600 parts and is one of the largest and most detailed ship ever put out by lego and remember that set has a ton of leftover parts for the "bay" build. at 3000 pieces the endurance is going to be a massive minifigure scale ship. it looks like it will be the largest sailship lego has ever put out. one thing i do wonder about is the masts. the masts make a big difference in the overall shaping and silhoutte of a ship like that. personally i really like the old mast pieces and the side netting that is tapered at an angle and not rectangular like in the barracuda bay ship. i guess we'll find out soon enough what choices they are making. it's a bit too expensive for my tastes and it will probably be too large for me to even display in my apartment... but, if it's a really nice set, i think it will be the one time i spend big on a lego set like that. i wish lego would put out a nice classic midrange pirate ship - think something about the size of the new harry potter ship without the carriage (making it a bit cheaper than that set). i think a set that size that is really well designed with a beautiful silhoutte and colorful pirate minifigs would be a sure hit
I absolutely agree. I’d point out that some of the barracuda bricks are wasted on the island. Endurance will have more detail in the rigging I bet for $260 and that eats a bunch of pieces up if they use the imperial flagship style yard arms

Getting excited about the Collectors' Edition: The Burrow. The minifigure selection is what I expected: Harry Potter and the whole Weasley family. Would have been nice if they included minifigures of Hermione Granger (a frequent visitor to the Burrow) and Fleur Delacour (who married Bill Weasley) as well.

I love to see a 1992 Williams Nigel Mansell Lego set of a 1991 Jordan F1 the best looking F1 car ever. A Lego sets on both of those will look cool.
As a collector of Brickheadz mostly because the price of the larger sets is just crazy insane. Brickheadz used to be affordable until the 8in1 Batman came out. Like 4, 2 packs would have solved everything. This isn't rocket science but as you said Lego dropped the ball on this one. SAD.
looks like the CMF line is the last castle/ fantasy entry we will be getting for a while, outside of bricklink sets. Thats why theres so many castles voted for, we are starving for castle sets!

that would suck lol. At least the DnD figs appeal to people outside if DnD fans, an F1 cmf line would just be ugly samey fleshies like those awful olympics cmfs they made a few years ago.
That would be so cool we already have Lego Ayrton, Micheal and Kimi imagine getting Niki, Mika, Seb and Jenson i'd be so down for that. Also don't listen to the haters they are just upset that F1 is getting it's own sub theme and not D&D or Castle at least Space came back.

Im assuming the F1 theme is due to the upcoming release of Apex GP due for release in 2025.
That or it could the fact F1 is more popular than ever and that all the F1 sets that came out over the past few years sell like hotcakes.
The endurance? Its probably made out of spares and about the size of a ninjago boat. Its also probably one of those afol "loss leaders" they have like the concorde etc, the clinically adult sets designed to lure non afols.

I was really looking forward to that Shadow set (I must be in the minority for thinking that's a reasonable price for it) but good god is it ever ugly. It looks like the mockup pictures we get from leakers before we get official release photos.
Well at least I can save my money. I hope LEGO continues to make 18+ video game sets for less than $100, especially in the helmet line. Just... better looking than that.

I hate to say, but the Mario & Yoshi is a big disappointment for me. I was expecting a full 3-D sculpture model.

@@Johno_Gaming But so far all of the LEGO Super Mario sets have been created in 3D. The problem is not just about 2D, but the outcome just isn't impressive IMO especially at this price point.
@kenchu5900 well most of the sets aren't meant to be 2d. The Lego SNES that plays Mario has a 2d screen because it's the original game. Stuff like Bowser and the item block sets are just more generalised Mario sets whereas this one is going for the original game aesthetic. 👍
